Otkada je svijeta i vijeka gorštaci se spuštaju u doline. U visinama je zrak rjeđi, a takvi su i obroci, vegetacija, šanse za preživljavanje... S druge strane, u nizinama se razmjerno lako nahraniti, napojiti, utopliti, skloniti, sačuvati živu glavu... Montanjari nisu blesavi kad biraju silazak umjesto ostanka na tvrdoj (naravski, jalovoj, studenoj, vjetrima šibanoj...) stini zavičaja. Povijesno gledano, u suprotnom se smjeru, dakle iz dolova u gore, odlazilo rijetko i samo u najvećoj nuždi, recimo, kad je trebalo uteći od krvožednog osvajača. A i ti su bjegovi uvijek bili privremeni. Čak i kad bi potrajali godinama ili desetljećima, prognani se svijet ne bi mirio s takvim raspletom, nego je domotužno ispovijedao čežnju za povratkom u rodnu i, razumije se, plodnu nizinu.

Na nekoj simboličnoj razini mogli bismo reći kako je svaki uspon iz zelenog obilja doline prema surim, sivim planinskim vrhuncima – osobito ako je odluka o osvajanju dotičnih visova donesena iz obijesti, a ne iz prijeke potrebe – u svojoj suštini zapravo duboko antievolucijski čin, golo ruganje gospodinu Darwinu. Ali, eto, čak i fina gospoda neupitnih manira, koja inače iskazuju puno poštovanje prema tome velikom znanstveniku, znaju podleći napasti uspinjanja.

Milan Majerović-Stilinović jedan je od njih. Čovjek kojega pamtimo kao novinara u svim agregatnim stanjima (što će reći u dnevnome tisku, na portalima, radiju i televiziji) danas je savjetnik za odnose s javnošću, koji se u rijetkim trenucima dokolice entuzijastično penje po planinama. Odmah da budemo načistu, baš kao meni ili vama, i njemu je Stipe Božić prije mitološko biće negoli kolega po cepinu.

PLJESAK ZA SMOTANU DJECU

Autor nije alpinist, nije čak ni zadrti skupljač trofeja, dakle, žigova koji se štambiljaju na bjelosvjetskim vrhovima. Ne, on je "samo" skromni penjač po gorama jedne malešne, portabl države, i to bez invazivnih ambicija. Ili kako sâm na jednome mjestu kaže: "Ne idem na planinu da je osvojim, idem da me ona posvoji."

Njegova knjiga "Što sam naučio na planini", zbirka priča nastalih u hodu, a potom posijanih u blogosferi, ispovjedno je štivo koje nije sasvim lišeno aktivističkih primisli. Autor bi volio ako ne baš preobratiti nevjerne, stajaće, odnosno ležeće Tome, a onda barem poljuljati njihov metodični otpor prema naprezanjima u prirodnim, dakle, nekontroliranim uvjetima. Posebice cilja na one čitatelje koji još od djetinjstva uživaju u reputaciji katastarskih činjenica, jer su u fiskulturnom smislu obične nekretnine. U priči pod naslovom "Pljesak" ovako ih, primjera radi, pokušava zavesti: "Ovaj je za svu debelu, smotanu, premršavu, štrkljastu, sporu, najsporiju djecu. Za zadnje u razredu, tužne i nespretne klaune. Za sve one koji su na tjelesnom htjeli vježbati jedino nevidljivost, za koje ni nastavnici na kraju sata više nisu imali strpljenja. (...) Ovo je za sve koji i danas žive u utjesi ekrana, između korica knjiga, sve koji misle da za njih nema i neće biti medalje, pljeska ni pobjedničke poze na vrhu. Ima, bio sam gore, i bio sam dolje: prvi aplauz pripada vam kad krenete sami."

Naravno, Milan Majerović-Stilinović laže. Gore nema ničega čega nema u knjigama i na ekranu, a što se bez ikakva napora može konzumirati u toplini doma, suhih čarapa i sita trbuha. No, premda me bilo čiji nagovori (od liječničkih nadalje) da u ovim godinama promijenim život i prigrlim neke nove, naravno, zdravije navike, neizbježno, principijelno i duboko iritiraju, moram reći kako mi autor nije raspalio ni jedan jedini živac.

PUSTOLOVI IZ PRIMAĆIH SOBA

Razlog? Osim što je entuzijastični planinar, Milan Majerović-Stilinović je i pisac. I to ne bilo kakav, nego meke, poetske ruke, gusto prosijanih rečenica, bez viškova, poštapalica i općih mjesta, autor profinjenih emocionalnih registara kojima vješto kontrapunktira diskretne humorne akcente.

To, međutim, nije dovoljno da bi se preobratili pustolovi iz primaćih soba, koji kauč definiraju kao prijevozno sredstvo, jer njime (čitajući knjige i gledajući televiziju) putuju u pustinje, prerije, prašume, tundre i tajge. Ma koliko god se trudio dokazati suprotno, autor makar i nehotice ide na ruku čitateljima koji zaziru od štrapaciranja na planinama. Jer, zašto bi oni kisnuli i zebli kad je to umjesto njih učinio ljubazni gospodin Milan Majerović-Stilinović? Konačno, i njemu je samom jasno da gore, u gorama, nije sve baš pjesma. "Neizbježno je", piše on na jednome mjestu, "hodaj po planini dovoljno dugo i negdje ćeš doći na pogreb." Ako mogu birati, rado bih se izuzeo. Ali nemam ništa protiv o pogrebu čitati iz pera ili laptopa pisca kao što je Majerović-Stilinović.

Montanjari nisu blesavi kad biraju silazak umjesto ostanka na tvrdoj (naravski, jalovoj, studenoj, vjetrima šibanoj...) stini zavičaja. Povijesno gledano, u suprotnom se smjeru, dakle iz dolova u gore, odlazilo rijetko i samo u najvećoj nuždi, recimo, kad je trebalo uteći od krvožednog osvajača. A i ti su bjegovi uvijek bili privremeni. Čak i kad bi potrajali godinama ili desetljećima, prognani se svijet ne bi mirio s takvim raspletom, nego je domotužno ispovijedao čežnju za povratkom u rodnu i, razumije se, plodnu nizinu.

Na nekoj simboličnoj razini mogli bismo reći kako je svaki uspon iz zelenog obilja doline prema surim, sivim planinskim vrhuncima – osobito ako je odluka o osvajanju dotičnih visova donesena iz obijesti, a ne iz prijeke potrebe – u svojoj suštini zapravo duboko antievolucijski čin, golo ruganje gospodinu Darwinu. Ali, eto, čak i fina gospoda neupitnih manira, koja inače iskazuju puno poštovanje prema tome velikom znanstveniku, znaju podleći napasti uspinjanja.

Milan Majerović-Stilinović jedan je od njih. Čovjek kojega pamtimo kao novinara u svim agregatnim stanjima (što će reći u dnevnome tisku, na portalima, radiju i televiziji) danas je savjetnik za odnose s javnošću, koji se u rijetkim trenucima dokolice entuzijastično penje po planinama. Odmah da budemo načistu, baš kao meni ili vama, i njemu je Stipe Božić prije mitološko biće negoli kolega po cepinu.

PLJESAK ZA SMOTANU DJECU

Autor nije alpinist, nije čak ni zadrti skupljač trofeja, dakle, žigova koji se štambiljaju na bjelosvjetskim vrhovima. Ne, on je "samo" skromni penjač po gorama jedne malešne, portabl države, i to bez invazivnih ambicija. Ili kako sâm na jednome mjestu kaže: "Ne idem na planinu da je osvojim, idem da me ona posvoji."

Njegova knjiga "Što sam naučio na planini", zbirka priča nastalih u hodu, a potom posijanih u blogosferi, ispovjedno je štivo koje nije sasvim lišeno aktivističkih primisli. Autor bi volio ako ne baš preobratiti nevjerne, stajaće, odnosno ležeće Tome, a onda barem poljuljati njihov metodični otpor prema naprezanjima u prirodnim, dakle, nekontroliranim uvjetima. Posebice cilja na one čitatelje koji još od djetinjstva uživaju u reputaciji katastarskih činjenica, jer su u fiskulturnom smislu obične nekretnine. U priči pod naslovom "Pljesak" ovako ih, primjera radi, pokušava zavesti: "Ovaj je za svu debelu, smotanu, premršavu, štrkljastu, sporu, najsporiju djecu. Za zadnje u razredu, tužne i nespretne klaune. Za sve one koji su na tjelesnom htjeli vježbati jedino nevidljivost, za koje ni nastavnici na kraju sata više nisu imali strpljenja. (...) Ovo je za sve koji i danas žive u utjesi ekrana, između korica knjiga, sve koji misle da za njih nema i neće biti medalje, pljeska ni pobjedničke poze na vrhu. Ima, bio sam gore, i bio sam dolje: prvi aplauz pripada vam kad krenete sami."

Naravno, Milan Majerović-Stilinović laže. Gore nema ničega čega nema u knjigama i na ekranu, a što se bez ikakva napora može konzumirati u toplini doma, suhih čarapa i sita trbuha. No, premda me bilo čiji nagovori (od liječničkih nadalje) da u ovim godinama promijenim život i prigrlim neke nove, naravno, zdravije navike, neizbježno, principijelno i duboko iritiraju, moram reći kako mi autor nije raspalio ni jedan jedini živac.

PUSTOLOVI IZ PRIMAĆIH SOBA

Razlog? Osim što je entuzijastični planinar, Milan Majerović-Stilinović je i pisac. I to ne bilo kakav, nego meke, poetske ruke, gusto prosijanih rečenica, bez viškova, poštapalica i općih mjesta, autor profinjenih emocionalnih registara kojima vješto kontrapunktira diskretne humorne akcente.

To, međutim, nije dovoljno da bi se preobratili pustolovi iz primaćih soba, koji kauč definiraju kao prijevozno sredstvo, jer njime (čitajući knjige i gledajući televiziju) putuju u pustinje, prerije, prašume, tundre i tajge. Ma koliko god se trudio dokazati suprotno, autor makar i nehotice ide na ruku čitateljima koji zaziru od štrapaciranja na planinama. Jer, zašto bi oni kisnuli i zebli kad je to umjesto njih učinio ljubazni gospodin Milan Majerović-Stilinović? Konačno, i njemu je samom jasno da gore, u gorama, nije sve baš pjesma. "Neizbježno je", piše on na jednome mjestu, "hodaj po planini dovoljno dugo i negdje ćeš doći na pogreb." Ako mogu birati, rado bih se izuzeo. Ali nemam ništa protiv o pogrebu čitati iz pera ili laptopa pisca kao što je Majerović-Stilinović.

Otkada je svijeta i vijeka gorštaci se spuštaju u doline. U visinama je zrak rjeđi, a takvi su i obroci, vegetacija, šanse za preživljavanje... S druge strane, u nizinama se razmjerno lako nahraniti, napojiti, utopliti, skloniti, sačuvati živu glavu... Montanjari nisu blesavi kad biraju silazak umjesto ostanka na tvrdoj (naravski, jalovoj, studenoj, vjetrima šibanoj...) stini zavičaja. Povijesno gledano, u suprotnom se smjeru, dakle iz dolova u gore, odlazilo rijetko i samo u najvećoj nuždi, recimo, kad je trebalo uteći od krvožednog osvajača. A i ti su bjegovi uvijek bili privremeni.
