FMFS se u jubilarnom 15. izdanju vratio na "staro normalno", veći nego ikada. Filmova je bilo nikad više (72), kao i zemalja odakle su stizali (30) i lokacija gdje su, na koncu, prikazivani (četiri). I publika se vratila u velikom broju, privučena filmovima i tulumima nakon projekcija, a Split su posjetili i strani gosti poput Carlote Perede ("Piggy") i Agnieszke Woszczyńske ("Tiha zemlja").

Nova lokacija za kino

Razlika između ovogodišnjeg i prethodna dva "koronska" izdanja FMFS-a je nebo-zemlja. Zbog epidemioloških mjera prošle dvije godine, Ljetno kino "Bačvice", zaštitni znak FMFS-a, imalo je limitirani kapacitet, dok je festival preskočio "Kinoteku" i time izgubio veći broj filmova.

Ove godine "Kinoteka" je ponovno postala sastavna lokacija festivala, uz "Bačvice" i plato ispred Doma mladih, a pridodana je i još jedna – Tvrđava Gripe, rezervirana za program "Druga strana Mediterana" i novouvedeni "Parangal".

Ukratko, FMFS je ponovno prodisao punim plućima, pri čemu nije (u)disao samo mediteranski zrak. Programi "Druga strana Mediterana" i "Parangal" omogućili su FMFS-u, time i splitskoj publici, da udahne zrak iz Butana (za Oscara nominirana "Lunana" Pawe Choyninga Dorjija), Meksika ("Zalazak Sunca" Michela Franca), Kostarike ("Clara Sola" Nathalie Álvarez Mesén)...

Nemediteranski festivalski art filmovi zadnjih godina daju FMFS-u veću "težinu" i služe za potencijalno ekvilibriranje i ujednačavanje cjelokupnog izdanja festivala ukoliko gdjekad limitirani centralni mediteranski program "zakaže", tj. bude kvalitativno neujednačen.

Žanrovac među festivalcima

Srećom, ovogodišnji natjecateljski program "Mediteran" bio je uglavnom uravnotežen i donio je nekoliko vrijednih i/li intrigantnih filmova kao što su "Rimini" Ulricha Seidla, "Baci se na pod" Nine Violić, "Piggy" i "Hudin salon" Hanyja Abu-Assada. Nije čudno da su dva od ova četiri filma ("Baci se na pod", "Piggy") na kraju i nagrađena unutar natjecateljskog programa.

K tome, "Piggy" se izdvaja i kao dobrodošlo izrazitiji primjerak žanrovskog filma (horor/psihološki triler) među dramski orijentiranim festivalcima, dok je premijerna projekcija hrvatske drame "Baci se na pod" potvrdila da, nakon "Matere" Jure Pavlovića, domaći filmaši definitivno računaju na FMFS i za premijere svojih dugometražnih filmova, ne samo kratkometražnih, okupljenih u programu "Ješke".

Među ovogodišnjim "Ješkama" također su zasluženo nagrađeni ponajbolji "kratkiši", osobni favorit "Sprovod" Šimuna Šituma, te "Carpe Diem" Filipa Antonija Lizatovića i "Ne pogađa svaka" Marka Dugonjića. A miljenik publike očekivano je čestita marokanska životno-populistička drama "Život mi dobro pristaje" koju potpisuje Al Hadi Ulad-Mohand.

FMFS se u jubilarnom 15. izdanju vratio na "staro normalno", veći nego ikada. Filmova je bilo nikad više (72), kao i zemalja odakle su stizali (30) i lokacija gdje su, na koncu, prikazivani (četiri). I publika se vratila u velikom broju, privučena filmovima i tulumima nakon projekcija, a Split su posjetili i strani gosti poput Carlote Perede ("Piggy") i Agnieszke Woszczyńske ("Tiha zemlja").

Nova lokacija za kino

Razlika između ovogodišnjeg i prethodna dva "koronska" izdanja FMFS-a je nebo-zemlja. Zbog epidemioloških mjera prošle dvije godine, Ljetno kino "Bačvice", zaštitni znak FMFS-a, imalo je limitirani kapacitet, dok je festival preskočio "Kinoteku" i time izgubio veći broj filmova.

Ove godine "Kinoteka" je ponovno postala sastavna lokacija festivala, uz "Bačvice" i plato ispred Doma mladih, a pridodana je i još jedna – Tvrđava Gripe, rezervirana za program "Druga strana Mediterana" i novouvedeni "Parangal".

Ukratko, FMFS je ponovno prodisao punim plućima, pri čemu nije (u)disao samo mediteranski zrak. Programi "Druga strana Mediterana" i "Parangal" omogućili su FMFS-u, time i splitskoj publici, da udahne zrak iz Butana (za Oscara nominirana "Lunana" Pawe Choyninga Dorjija), Meksika ("Zalazak Sunca" Michela Franca), Kostarike ("Clara Sola" Nathalie Álvarez Mesén)...

Nemediteranski festivalski art filmovi zadnjih godina daju FMFS-u veću "težinu" i služe za potencijalno ekvilibriranje i ujednačavanje cjelokupnog izdanja festivala ukoliko gdjekad limitirani centralni mediteranski program "zakaže", tj. bude kvalitativno neujednačen.

Žanrovac među festivalcima

Srećom, ovogodišnji natjecateljski program "Mediteran" bio je uglavnom uravnotežen i donio je nekoliko vrijednih i/li intrigantnih filmova kao što su "Rimini" Ulricha Seidla, "Baci se na pod" Nine Violić, "Piggy" i "Hudin salon" Hanyja Abu-Assada. Nije čudno da su dva od ova četiri filma ("Baci se na pod", "Piggy") na kraju i nagrađena unutar natjecateljskog programa.

K tome, "Piggy" se izdvaja i kao dobrodošlo izrazitiji primjerak žanrovskog filma (horor/psihološki triler) među dramski orijentiranim festivalcima, dok je premijerna projekcija hrvatske drame "Baci se na pod" potvrdila da, nakon "Matere" Jure Pavlovića, domaći filmaši definitivno računaju na FMFS i za premijere svojih dugometražnih filmova, ne samo kratkometražnih, okupljenih u programu "Ješke".

Među ovogodišnjim "Ješkama" također su zasluženo nagrađeni ponajbolji "kratkiši", osobni favorit "Sprovod" Šimuna Šituma, te "Carpe Diem" Filipa Antonija Lizatovića i "Ne pogađa svaka" Marka Dugonjića. A miljenik publike očekivano je čestita marokanska životno-populistička drama "Život mi dobro pristaje" koju potpisuje Al Hadi Ulad-Mohand.

FMFS se u jubilarnom 15. izdanju vratio na "staro normalno", veći nego ikada. Filmova je bilo nikad više (72), kao i zemalja odakle su stizali (30) i lokacija gdje su, na koncu, prikazivani (četiri). I publika se vratila u velikom broju, privučena filmovima i tulumima nakon projekcija, a Split su posjetili i strani gosti poput Carlote Perede ("Piggy") i Agnieszke Woszczyńske ("Tiha zemlja").

Nova lokacija za kino

Razlika između ovogodišnjeg i prethodna dva "koronska" izdanja FMFS-a je nebo-zemlja. Zbog epidemioloških mjera prošle dvije godine, Ljetno kino "Bačvice", zaštitni znak FMFS-a, imalo je limitirani kapacitet, dok je festival preskočio "Kinoteku" i time izgubio veći broj filmova.
