Toksična veza ne može biti toksičnija u norveškoj crnoj antiromantičnoj komediji "Bolesnica" ("Syk Pike"/"Sick Of Myself") redatelja Kristoffera Borglija koja je iz Cannesa stigla u Split na FMFS. U nezdravoj, autodestruktivnoj vezi nalaze se dvoje kompetitivnih narcisa, Signe i Thomas u tumačenju Kristine Kujath Thorp i Eirika Sæthera.

Naizgled sretan i normalan mladi par upoznajemo u restoranu. Tako se barem čine prije nego što Signe izađe van restorana, a Thomas ukrade ostatak boce šampanjca i dade se u bijeg dok ga konobar hvata. Kad konobar prođe pokraj Signe, na njezinu licu dade se iščitati razočaranje što je nije prepoznao.

To je samo početak "ljubavne priče" između frustrirane konobarice koja laže i maže te umjetnika opsjednutog karijerom stvaranja umjetnosti od ukradenih stvari.

Na jednom "fensi šmensi" domjenku, gdje Thomas treba održati prigodan govor, Signe se pretvara da je njegova sestra i da je alergična na lješnjake. Usred govora, ona zaglumi da je dobila napadaj alergije kako bi skrenula pozornost na sebe.

Neovisno o tome, Thomas želi završiti govor dok se Signe guši, a to frapira okupljene s obzirom da ne znaju kako ona samo glumata. Prije toga, kad neku ženu ugrize pas i Signe joj pomogne, ona odbija priznati Thomasu da nije njezina krv ta koja joj je zacrvenila bijelu obleku, a i pokušava isprovocirati drugog psa na ulici ne bi li je ugrizao.

"Nađi nešto drugo za raditi", ljutito joj dobaci vlasnik psa. Već je dotad jasno da "Bolesnica" nije film za svakoga, a tek slijede prave boleštine kad "bad personality" protagonistica krene u još veće ekstreme i redatelj (neujednačeno) pospoji humor boje katrana i radikalni tjelesni horor.

Naime, Signe će preko dilera doći u posjedstvo ilegalnih ruskih tableta Lidexol i nakljukati se njima, što će nakon početkog osipa dovesti do groteskne deformacije i "misteriozne bolesti" raspada njezine kože. Čak i kao takva, pod maskom i zavojima, ona ne staje, nego pokušava postati model i TV zvijezda, gostujući na talk showovima ili barem to utvara u svojoj glavi kako je sve teže razlučiti stvarnost od njezinih umišljaja.

"Sick of Myself" intrigira kao oštra satira bolesti "online" slave i današnjeg "clickbait" društva, odnosno mladih ljudi očajnički željnih pažnje koji se pod svaku cijenu nastoje (viralno) proslaviti i dopasti svima, spremni napraviti sve za stotine i tisuće "lajkova", izgubiti i svoju prirodnu ljepotu ako treba samo da budu "trending topic" i da od sebe stvore klikabilan sadržaj, kreiraju nešto iz ničega.

Film ima nešto za reći o tome, ali neke bi gledatelje mogao odbiti svojom nepristupačnošću i manjkom suptilnosti u pristupu temi i ustvari tragičnom glavnom ženskom liku u inače dobroj interpretaciji mlade glumice, kao i disbalansom između usvajanja poetike satiričnog Rubena Östlunda ("Turist", "Kvadrat", "Trokut tuge") i "bodyhorrorskog" Davida Cronenberga ("Videodrom", "Muha", "Zločini budućnosti"). Signe je stoput gora od protagonistice "Najgore osobe na svijetu", boljeg i ujednačenijeg norveškog filma s kojim "Bolesnica" ima poveznica, uključujući pojavljivanje glumca Andersa Danielsena Liea.

"Bolesnica" je snimljena na 35-milimetarskoj filmskoj vrpci i lijepo izgleda zaslugom snimatelja Benjamina Loeba.

Toksična veza ne može biti toksičnija u norveškoj crnoj antiromantičnoj komediji "Bolesnica" ("Syk Pike"/"Sick Of Myself") redatelja Kristoffera Borglija koja je iz Cannesa stigla u Split na FMFS. U nezdravoj, autodestruktivnoj vezi nalaze se dvoje kompetitivnih narcisa, Signe i Thomas u tumačenju Kristine Kujath Thorp i Eirika Sæthera.

Naizgled sretan i normalan mladi par upoznajemo u restoranu. Tako se barem čine prije nego što Signe izađe van restorana, a Thomas ukrade ostatak boce šampanjca i dade se u bijeg dok ga konobar hvata. Kad konobar prođe pokraj Signe, na njezinu licu dade se iščitati razočaranje što je nije prepoznao.

To je samo početak "ljubavne priče" između frustrirane konobarice koja laže i maže te umjetnika opsjednutog karijerom stvaranja umjetnosti od ukradenih stvari.

Na jednom "fensi šmensi" domjenku, gdje Thomas treba održati prigodan govor, Signe se pretvara da je njegova sestra i da je alergična na lješnjake. Usred govora, ona zaglumi da je dobila napadaj alergije kako bi skrenula pozornost na sebe.

Neovisno o tome, Thomas želi završiti govor dok se Signe guši, a to frapira okupljene s obzirom da ne znaju kako ona samo glumata. Prije toga, kad neku ženu ugrize pas i Signe joj pomogne, ona odbija priznati Thomasu da nije njezina krv ta koja joj je zacrvenila bijelu obleku, a i pokušava isprovocirati drugog psa na ulici ne bi li je ugrizao.

"Nađi nešto drugo za raditi", ljutito joj dobaci vlasnik psa. Već je dotad jasno da "Bolesnica" nije film za svakoga, a tek slijede prave boleštine kad "bad personality" protagonistica krene u još veće ekstreme i redatelj (neujednačeno) pospoji humor boje katrana i radikalni tjelesni horor.

Naime, Signe će preko dilera doći u posjedstvo ilegalnih ruskih tableta Lidexol i nakljukati se njima, što će nakon početkog osipa dovesti do groteskne deformacije i "misteriozne bolesti" raspada njezine kože. Čak i kao takva, pod maskom i zavojima, ona ne staje, nego pokušava postati model i TV zvijezda, gostujući na talk showovima ili barem to utvara u svojoj glavi kako je sve teže razlučiti stvarnost od njezinih umišljaja.

"Sick of Myself" intrigira kao oštra satira bolesti "online" slave i današnjeg "clickbait" društva, odnosno mladih ljudi očajnički željnih pažnje koji se pod svaku cijenu nastoje (viralno) proslaviti i dopasti svima, spremni napraviti sve za stotine i tisuće "lajkova", izgubiti i svoju prirodnu ljepotu ako treba samo da budu "trending topic" i da od sebe stvore klikabilan sadržaj, kreiraju nešto iz ničega.

Film ima nešto za reći o tome, ali neke bi gledatelje mogao odbiti svojom nepristupačnošću i manjkom suptilnosti u pristupu temi i ustvari tragičnom glavnom ženskom liku u inače dobroj interpretaciji mlade glumice, kao i disbalansom između usvajanja poetike satiričnog Rubena Östlunda ("Turist", "Kvadrat", "Trokut tuge") i "bodyhorrorskog" Davida Cronenberga ("Videodrom", "Muha", "Zločini budućnosti"). Signe je stoput gora od protagonistice "Najgore osobe na svijetu", boljeg i ujednačenijeg norveškog filma s kojim "Bolesnica" ima poveznica, uključujući pojavljivanje glumca Andersa Danielsena Liea.

"Bolesnica" je snimljena na 35-milimetarskoj filmskoj vrpci i lijepo izgleda zaslugom snimatelja Benjamina Loeba.
