Dana 3. kolovoza počet će pripreme za proslavu 300. godišnjice čudesne obrane Sinja i 293. sinjske alke.
Prema programu koji su zajednički sačinili uprave Grada, VAD-a i Svetišta Gospe Sinjske otvaranje priprema za veliko sinjsko slavlje obavit će se na starom Gradu i bit će sastavni dio ceremonije 293. sinjske alke.
Ove se godine, naime, na Gradu neće održati do sada uobičajeni “sat povijesti” u 7 sati ujutro. Umjesto toga u nedjelju 3. kolovoza u 9 sati od crkve Gospe Sinjske do Grada će krenuti procesija.
Među očekivanim mnoštvom vjernika u procesiji će biti alkari i alkarski momci, te gosti 293. alke uključujući visoke državne dužnosnike. Svečano misno slavlje na Gradu, za vrijeme kojega će se blagosloviti nedavno postavljeni spomenik Gospi Sinjskoj, predvodit će kardinal Vinko Puljić.
Ta svečana misa na Gradu bit će na dan ovogodišnje Alke zamjena za sve uobičajene nedjeljne mise u sinjskoj Gospinoj crkvi. Pripreme za početak slavlja 300. godišnjice glasovite Sinjske bitke otvaraju se 7 godina ranije pri čemu svaka godina pripreme simbolizira po jedan dan opsade Sinja 1715. godine.
U kontekstu istovjetne simbolike na Gradu će 8. kolovoza u režiji Rade Perkovića i angažiranje dijela profesionalnih glumaca na sceni biti prikazana “Opsada Sinja” autora Velimira Borkovića.
Predstava će se održati 8. kolovoza jer je po predanju upravo toga dana silna turska vojska opsjela Sinj u očekivanju brzog poraza malobrojnih branitelja.
Legenda kaže da su Sinjani nadljudskim naporima odoljeli napadima, te uz nadnaravnu pomoć “žene u bijelom”, koja je hodajući zidinama utjerala Turcima toliki strah u kosti da su pobjegli.

Dana 3. kolovoza počet će pripreme za proslavu 300. godišnjice čudesne obrane Sinja i 293. sinjske alke.
Prema programu koji su zajednički sačinili uprave Grada, VAD-a i Svetišta Gospe Sinjske otvaranje priprema za veliko sinjsko slavlje obavit će se na starom Gradu i bit će sastavni dio ceremonije 293. sinjske alke.
Ove se godine, naime, na Gradu neće održati do sada uobičajeni “sat povijesti” u 7 sati ujutro. Umjesto toga u nedjelju 3. kolovoza u 9 sati od crkve Gospe Sinjske do Grada će krenuti procesija.
Među očekivanim mnoštvom vjernika u procesiji će biti alkari i alkarski momci, te gosti 293. alke uključujući visoke državne dužnosnike. Svečano misno slavlje na Gradu, za vrijeme kojega će se blagosloviti nedavno postavljeni spomenik Gospi Sinjskoj, predvodit će kardinal Vinko Puljić.
Ta svečana misa na Gradu bit će na dan ovogodišnje Alke zamjena za sve uobičajene nedjeljne mise u sinjskoj Gospinoj crkvi. Pripreme za početak slavlja 300. godišnjice glasovite Sinjske bitke otvaraju se 7 godina ranije pri čemu svaka godina pripreme simbolizira po jedan dan opsade Sinja 1715. godine.
U kontekstu istovjetne simbolike na Gradu će 8. kolovoza u režiji Rade Perkovića i angažiranje dijela profesionalnih glumaca na sceni biti prikazana “Opsada Sinja” autora Velimira Borkovića.
Predstava će se održati 8. kolovoza jer je po predanju upravo toga dana silna turska vojska opsjela Sinj u očekivanju brzog poraza malobrojnih branitelja.
Legenda kaže da su Sinjani nadljudskim naporima odoljeli napadima, te uz nadnaravnu pomoć “žene u bijelom”, koja je hodajući zidinama utjerala Turcima toliki strah u kosti da su pobjegli.
