Zbog kronične nestašice pitke vode na otoku Biševu, Hrvatska ratna mornarica je tijekom protekla dva dana, na poziv grada Komiže, dostavila otočanima preko 250 tona vode u obiteljske vodospremnike, izvijestilo je u subotu Ministarstvo obrane.

Uslijed izrazito nepovoljne hidrološke godine, trenutna situacija na otoku Biševu po pitanju opskrbe vodom bila je iznimno teška za tamošnje stanovništvo koje je ostalo bez pitke vode.

Zadaća je bila zahtjevna jer se radilo o  dostavi vode u više od 18 vodospremnika na otoku Biševu. S obzirom na konfiguraciju obale odnosno nemogućnosti pristajanja, brod je sidrio u uvalama Salbunara,  Porat i Mezuporat te je bilo potrebno razvući vatrogasna crijeva za vodu i više od kilometra kako bi došli i do najudaljenijih kuća.

Provedbi te zadaće pridružili su se i pripadnici DVD-a Komiža kao i lokalno stanovništvo, navode u priopćenju.

Zbog kronične nestašice pitke vode na otoku Biševu, Hrvatska ratna mornarica je tijekom protekla dva dana, na poziv grada Komiže, dostavila otočanima preko 250 tona vode u obiteljske vodospremnike, izvijestilo je u subotu Ministarstvo obrane.

Uslijed izrazito nepovoljne hidrološke godine, trenutna situacija na otoku Biševu po pitanju opskrbe vodom bila je iznimno teška za tamošnje stanovništvo koje je ostalo bez pitke vode.

Zadaća je bila zahtjevna jer se radilo o  dostavi vode u više od 18 vodospremnika na otoku Biševu. S obzirom na konfiguraciju obale odnosno nemogućnosti pristajanja, brod je sidrio u uvalama Salbunara,  Porat i Mezuporat te je bilo potrebno razvući vatrogasna crijeva za vodu i više od kilometra kako bi došli i do najudaljenijih kuća.

Provedbi te zadaće pridružili su se i pripadnici DVD-a Komiža kao i lokalno stanovništvo, navode u priopćenju.

Uslijed izrazito nepovoljne hidrološke godine, trenutna situacija na otoku Biševu po pitanju opskrbe vodom bila je iznimno teška za tamošnje stanovništvo koje je ostalo bez pitke vode.

Zadaća je bila zahtjevna jer se radilo o  dostavi vode u više od 18 vodospremnika na otoku Biševu. S obzirom na konfiguraciju obale odnosno nemogućnosti pristajanja, brod je sidrio u uvalama Salbunara,  Porat i Mezuporat te je bilo potrebno razvući vatrogasna crijeva za vodu i više od kilometra kako bi došli i do najudaljenijih kuća.
