Od ove pedagoške godine 2021./2022., Grad Makarska će sufinancirati i udžbenike učenicima srednjih škola, za što je u gradskom proračunu izdvojeno 500.000 kuna. Nastavak je to uvođenja novih demografskih mjera s kojima se započelo 2018., kada je Grad Makarska uveo besplatne udžbenike i radne bilježnice za sve osnovnoškolce.

- Što se osnovnoškolaca tiče, uz besplatne udžbenike i radne bilježnice osigurali smo sredstva u proračunu za zapošljavanje učiteljica u produljenom boravku. Ono na što sam osobno najponosnija je uspješna provedba projekta "S osmijehom u školu - Asistenti u nastavi makarskih školaraca'' kroz koji godinama radimo na povećanju socijalne uključenosti i integracije učenika s teškoćama u razvoju u gradu Makarskoj te omogućavanje njihovog kvalitetnog obrazovanja. Ovdje također moram naglasiti ništa manje važnu činjenicu, a to je da smo, zahvaljujući sredstvima iz Europskog socijalnog fonda, od 2017. do 2020. zaposlili više od 50 osoba, otprilike 13 asistenata po godini - pojasnila je Marina Andačić Krivić, viša savjetnica za predškolski odgoj, obrazovanje i sport, naglasivši da se paralelno radilo i na novim mjerama za studente.

Izdvojeni studij

Uz povećanje broja i iznosa stipendija, donesena je i nova odluka o sufinanciranju prijevoza, prema kojoj od 1. siječnja 2021. svi studenti imaju pravo na četiri besplatne karte godišnje bez obzira na mjesto studiranja, što prije nije bio slučaj. Godinama su, naime, subvencionirani prijevoz imali samo studenti koji studiraju u Zagrebu, Splitu i Dubrovniku, jer prijevoznici nisu imali interes za sklapanje ugovora za linije iz drugih studentskih gradova poput Rijeke, Osijeka ili Varaždina.

Makarska je od 2019. ponovno postala studentski grad. Dana 1. listopada 2019. krenula su predavanja na izdvojenom studiju Sveučilišta u Splitu – preddiplomskom sveučilišnom studiju turizma i gastronomije. Otvaranje studija rezultat je tijesne suradnje Grada Makarske, Splitsko-dalmatinske županije i Sveučilišta u Splitu na čelu s rektorom Draganom Ljutićem.
Preddiplomski sveučilišni studij "Hotelijerstvo i gastronomija'' u Makarskoj ukupno pohađa 46 studenta, na prvoj godini je 27 studenata, a na drugoj godini 18 studenata. Studenti dolaze iz Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, Dubrovačko-neretvanske, Međimurske i Brodsko-posavske, te iz Bosne i Hercegovine, a jedna trećina od ukupnog broja studenata dolazi s Makarske rivijere. Vijeće studija Hotelijerstvo i gastronomija je donijelo odluku da sljedeće akademske godine upiše trideset studenata.

Od ove pedagoške godine 2021./2022., Grad Makarska će sufinancirati i udžbenike učenicima srednjih škola, za što je u gradskom proračunu izdvojeno 500.000 kuna. Nastavak je to uvođenja novih demografskih mjera s kojima se započelo 2018., kada je Grad Makarska uveo besplatne udžbenike i radne bilježnice za sve osnovnoškolce.

- Što se osnovnoškolaca tiče, uz besplatne udžbenike i radne bilježnice osigurali smo sredstva u proračunu za zapošljavanje učiteljica u produljenom boravku. Ono na što sam osobno najponosnija je uspješna provedba projekta "S osmijehom u školu - Asistenti u nastavi makarskih školaraca'' kroz koji godinama radimo na povećanju socijalne uključenosti i integracije učenika s teškoćama u razvoju u gradu Makarskoj te omogućavanje njihovog kvalitetnog obrazovanja. Ovdje također moram naglasiti ništa manje važnu činjenicu, a to je da smo, zahvaljujući sredstvima iz Europskog socijalnog fonda, od 2017. do 2020. zaposlili više od 50 osoba, otprilike 13 asistenata po godini - pojasnila je Marina Andačić Krivić, viša savjetnica za predškolski odgoj, obrazovanje i sport, naglasivši da se paralelno radilo i na novim mjerama za studente.

Izdvojeni studij

Uz povećanje broja i iznosa stipendija, donesena je i nova odluka o sufinanciranju prijevoza, prema kojoj od 1. siječnja 2021. svi studenti imaju pravo na četiri besplatne karte godišnje bez obzira na mjesto studiranja, što prije nije bio slučaj. Godinama su, naime, subvencionirani prijevoz imali samo studenti koji studiraju u Zagrebu, Splitu i Dubrovniku, jer prijevoznici nisu imali interes za sklapanje ugovora za linije iz drugih studentskih gradova poput Rijeke, Osijeka ili Varaždina.

Makarska je od 2019. ponovno postala studentski grad. Dana 1. listopada 2019. krenula su predavanja na izdvojenom studiju Sveučilišta u Splitu – preddiplomskom sveučilišnom studiju turizma i gastronomije. Otvaranje studija rezultat je tijesne suradnje Grada Makarske, Splitsko-dalmatinske županije i Sveučilišta u Splitu na čelu s rektorom Draganom Ljutićem.
Preddiplomski sveučilišni studij "Hotelijerstvo i gastronomija'' u Makarskoj ukupno pohađa 46 studenta, na prvoj godini je 27 studenata, a na drugoj godini 18 studenata. Studenti dolaze iz Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, Dubrovačko-neretvanske, Međimurske i Brodsko-posavske, te iz Bosne i Hercegovine, a jedna trećina od ukupnog broja studenata dolazi s Makarske rivijere. Vijeće studija Hotelijerstvo i gastronomija je donijelo odluku da sljedeće akademske godine upiše trideset studenata.
