Svečanom svetom misom u zavjetnoj crkvi Gospe od Jasenova, u Vrškom polju proslavljen je blagdan Velike Gospe. Vršani već preko pola stoljeća hodočaste u Gospinu crkvu i pred njenim likom prose mir, zdravlje i blagoslov za svoje obitelji. Mnoštvo puka ove godine prisustvovalo je liturgijskom slavlju koje je održano na platou ispred crkve.

- Marija je majka cijelog svijeta, a majke uvijek osjećaju posebnu bezgraničnu ljubav prema svojoj djeci. Marija predstavlja i utjehu u najtežim trenutcima - ispustila je svoga jedinoga sina i na kraju pokazala svojim uznesenjem kako trebamo težiti vječnom životu. - istaknuo je don Alojz Knežević u blagdanskoj homiliji.

Don Alojz je na kraju misnog slavlja odaslao poruku svim vjernicima.

- Uputimo svoj pogled prema Mariji, zavapimo njoj koja je »milosti puna« i nemojmo zaboraviti kako je čovječanstvu donijela najljepši dar u liku i djelu Isusa Krista. - zaključio je župnik.

Tradicionalno marijansko pjevanje predvodila je sakristanka Marija Predovan, a vjernici iz svih krajeva Hrvatske i svijeta oduševljeno su slušali i upijali Gospine pjesme na ikavici. 

Crkva Gospe od Jasenova sagrađena je na spomen Gospina ukazanja udovici Jeleni Grubišić 1516. godine. Temeljito je obnovljena 1983. godine kad je sagrađen novi zvonik. Vršani se u njoj okupljaju dva puta godišnje, u nedjelju po ukazanju i za blagdan Velike Gospe.

Liturgijsko slavlje povodom Marijina uznesenja župniku don Alojzu Kneževiću je jedno od zadnjih u župama Vrsi i Poljica. Prema odluci zadarskog nadbiskupa mons. Želimira Puljića, od ponedjeljka preuzima župu Drage, a u Vrsi se vraća prethodni župnik don Ivica Bašić.

Svečanom svetom misom u zavjetnoj crkvi Gospe od Jasenova, u Vrškom polju proslavljen je blagdan Velike Gospe. Vršani već preko pola stoljeća hodočaste u Gospinu crkvu i pred njenim likom prose mir, zdravlje i blagoslov za svoje obitelji. Mnoštvo puka ove godine prisustvovalo je liturgijskom slavlju koje je održano na platou ispred crkve.

- Marija je majka cijelog svijeta, a majke uvijek osjećaju posebnu bezgraničnu ljubav prema svojoj djeci. Marija predstavlja i utjehu u najtežim trenutcima - ispustila je svoga jedinoga sina i na kraju pokazala svojim uznesenjem kako trebamo težiti vječnom životu. - istaknuo je don Alojz Knežević u blagdanskoj homiliji.

Don Alojz je na kraju misnog slavlja odaslao poruku svim vjernicima.

- Uputimo svoj pogled prema Mariji, zavapimo njoj koja je »milosti puna« i nemojmo zaboraviti kako je čovječanstvu donijela najljepši dar u liku i djelu Isusa Krista. - zaključio je župnik.

Tradicionalno marijansko pjevanje predvodila je sakristanka Marija Predovan, a vjernici iz svih krajeva Hrvatske i svijeta oduševljeno su slušali i upijali Gospine pjesme na ikavici. 

Crkva Gospe od Jasenova sagrađena je na spomen Gospina ukazanja udovici Jeleni Grubišić 1516. godine. Temeljito je obnovljena 1983. godine kad je sagrađen novi zvonik. Vršani se u njoj okupljaju dva puta godišnje, u nedjelju po ukazanju i za blagdan Velike Gospe.

Liturgijsko slavlje povodom Marijina uznesenja župniku don Alojzu Kneževiću je jedno od zadnjih u župama Vrsi i Poljica. Prema odluci zadarskog nadbiskupa mons. Želimira Puljića, od ponedjeljka preuzima župu Drage, a u Vrsi se vraća prethodni župnik don Ivica Bašić.

Svečanom svetom misom u zavjetnoj crkvi Gospe od Jasenova, u Vrškom polju proslavljen je blagdan Velike Gospe. Vršani već preko pola stoljeća hodočaste u Gospinu crkvu i pred njenim likom prose mir, zdravlje i blagoslov za svoje obitelji. Mnoštvo puka ove godine prisustvovalo je liturgijskom slavlju koje je održano na platou ispred crkve.

- Marija je majka cijelog svijeta, a majke uvijek osjećaju posebnu bezgraničnu ljubav prema svojoj djeci. Marija predstavlja i utjehu u najtežim trenutcima - ispustila je svoga jedinoga sina i na kraju pokazala svojim uznesenjem kako trebamo težiti vječnom životu. - istaknuo je don Alojz Knežević u blagdanskoj homiliji.

Don Alojz je na kraju misnog slavlja odaslao poruku svim vjernicima.

- Uputimo svoj pogled prema Mariji, zavapimo njoj koja je »milosti puna« i nemojmo zaboraviti kako je čovječanstvu donijela najljepši dar u liku i djelu Isusa Krista. - zaključio je župnik.

Tradicionalno marijansko pjevanje predvodila je sakristanka Marija Predovan, a vjernici iz svih krajeva Hrvatske i svijeta oduševljeno su slušali i upijali Gospine pjesme na ikavici. 

Crkva Gospe od Jasenova sagrađena je na spomen Gospina ukazanja udovici Jeleni Grubišić 1516. godine. Temeljito je obnovljena 1983. godine kad je sagrađen novi zvonik. Vršani se u njoj okupljaju dva puta godišnje, u nedjelju po ukazanju i za blagdan Velike Gospe.

Liturgijsko slavlje povodom Marijina uznesenja župniku don Alojzu Kneževiću je jedno od zadnjih u župama Vrsi i Poljica. Prema odluci zadarskog nadbiskupa mons. Želimira Puljića, od ponedjeljka preuzima župu Drage, a u Vrsi se vraća prethodni župnik don Ivica Bašić.
