Osobe starije od 70 godina trebale bi dnevno vježbati barem 20 minuta da bi poboljšale zdravlje srca, kažu stručnjaci.
Kada je posrijedi vrijeme početka vježbanja moglo bi se reći da vrijedi - bolje ikad nego nikad, ali još bolje prije nego kasnije, rekli su stručnjaci nakon što je novim istraživanjem ustanovljeno da se dvadesetminutnom dnevnom tjelovježbom u starijoj dobi može smanjiti rizik od razvoja teških bolesti srca.
No valja napomenuti da su prednosti za zdravlje bile očitije u onih u ranim 70-im godinama nego u kasnim sedamdesetima.
Istraživanje, objavljeno u časopisu Heart, provodilo se više od 20 godina među više od 3000 Talijana starijih od 65 godina.
Talijanski znanstvenici pratili su razvoj bolesti srca, među kojima i zatajenje srca, moždani udar i koronarne srčane bolest, pri čemu su nadzirali i količinu tjelesne aktivnosti.

Fizička aktivnost bez sumnje je povezana s manjim rizikom od razvoja bolesti krvožilnog sustava.
Nakon daljnje analize, autori studije su otkrili da najmanje 20 minuta tjelovježbe dnevno ipak ima najveće prednosti u dobnoj skupini od 70 do 75 godina.
Čini se kako su benefiti vježbe opadali što su ispitanici bili stariji, što upućuje na to da se "veća korist za kardiovaskularni sustav postiže započne li se sa svakodnevnom fizičkom aktivnosti ranije u starijoj životnoj dobi“, zaključili su talijanski znanstvenici.
U povezanom editorijalu pod naslovom "Fizička aktivnost u starijih ljudi: bolje ikad nego nikad, ali još bolje ranije nego kasnije“, stručnjaci ističu kako je istraživanje pokazalo da je u starijoj dobi svakodnevno "kretanje lijek“.
"Čak i manja fizička aktivnost može pozitivno utjecati na opće zdravstveno stanje starijih ljudi, ali samo ako se s njom počne na vrijeme.“

Osobe starije od 70 godina trebale bi dnevno vježbati barem 20 minuta da bi poboljšale zdravlje srca, kažu stručnjaci.
Kada je posrijedi vrijeme početka vježbanja moglo bi se reći da vrijedi - bolje ikad nego nikad, ali još bolje prije nego kasnije, rekli su stručnjaci nakon što je novim istraživanjem ustanovljeno da se dvadesetminutnom dnevnom tjelovježbom u starijoj dobi može smanjiti rizik od razvoja teških bolesti srca.
No valja napomenuti da su prednosti za zdravlje bile očitije u onih u ranim 70-im godinama nego u kasnim sedamdesetima.
Istraživanje, objavljeno u časopisu Heart, provodilo se više od 20 godina među više od 3000 Talijana starijih od 65 godina.
Talijanski znanstvenici pratili su razvoj bolesti srca, među kojima i zatajenje srca, moždani udar i koronarne srčane bolest, pri čemu su nadzirali i količinu tjelesne aktivnosti.

Fizička aktivnost bez sumnje je povezana s manjim rizikom od razvoja bolesti krvožilnog sustava.
Nakon daljnje analize, autori studije su otkrili da najmanje 20 minuta tjelovježbe dnevno ipak ima najveće prednosti u dobnoj skupini od 70 do 75 godina.
Čini se kako su benefiti vježbe opadali što su ispitanici bili stariji, što upućuje na to da se "veća korist za kardiovaskularni sustav postiže započne li se sa svakodnevnom fizičkom aktivnosti ranije u starijoj životnoj dobi“, zaključili su talijanski znanstvenici.
U povezanom editorijalu pod naslovom "Fizička aktivnost u starijih ljudi: bolje ikad nego nikad, ali još bolje ranije nego kasnije“, stručnjaci ističu kako je istraživanje pokazalo da je u starijoj dobi svakodnevno "kretanje lijek“.
"Čak i manja fizička aktivnost može pozitivno utjecati na opće zdravstveno stanje starijih ljudi, ali samo ako se s njom počne na vrijeme.“
