Već više od mjesec dana umirovljenik A.D. iz Stona, pokušava doći do malo gotovine, ali bankomat u srcu mjesta jednostavno ne reagira na podražaje. Pokušavao je Stonjanin upozoriti nadležne da s aparatom nešto ne štima, okrenuo je niz telefona, no bez uspjeha:

- Ne znam više koga nisam zvao. Zadnje sam dobio šefa poslovnice PBZ-a i upozorio ga da im usred turističke sezone ne radi stonski bankomat, a on mi odgovara u stilu 'čujte, mi vam više to ne radimo, nego je to zadatak Fine, njima se javite'. Poslušao sam ga i nazvao Finu, a otamo su mi odgovorili da ne mogu ništa učinit jer nisu dobili nalog od PBZ-a? ' Pa, to je za ne vjerovat! - negoduje umirovljenik koji od PBZ-a prima mirovinu. Ako želi uzeti koju novčanicu, a ne ići na šalter, morao bi se poslužiti bankomatom druge banke, što mu baš i nije isplativo:
- Ako idem uzeti 100 kuna, druga banka će mi uzet 30 na transakciju! Zašto bi ja dao drugoj banci protuvrijednost 3 kila patata? A opet, da idem promijenit banku, to je cijela procedura, a i košta. Pa sam se nastavio žalit, iako su mi svi rekli da sam lud i da pustim sve. Nisam htio. Zašto bih ja zaimavao pare od drugih ako ih mogu preuzet na vratima od kuće – komentirao je A.D. koji je radni vijek proveo u jednom dubrovačkom komunalnog društvu gdje je vladao red i način, kaže nam. Radnici nisu išli na marendu dok ne bi obavili posao, a sad se svi izvlače, ljuti se naš sugovornik koji je zamolio medije da mu pomognu barem otkriti tko servisira i popravlja bankomate.

Na naš upit iz Privredne banke Zagreb odgovorili su kako je provjerom utvrđeno da je bankomat na lokaciji Trg Kralja Tomislava 1, Ston, imao privremeni zastoj rada uzrokovan tehničkim poteškoćama u radu samog bankomata:
- Zastoj se odnosio na grešku u alarmnom sustavu uređaja, uslijed čega je dolazilo do uključivanja alarma, te kako bismo izbjegli nepotrebno uznemiravanje građana uključivanjem alarma bankomat stavili izvan produkcije. Poduzeli smo sve potrebne aktivnosti kako bi se u što kraćem roku otklonile navedene tehničke poteškoće te će bankomat biti pušten u rad s potpunom funkcionalnošću – obećali su iz PBZ-a i ispričali se zbog 'okolnosti koje su dovele do nezadovoljstva građana Stona uslijed privremene poteškoće u radu bankomata.' Iz banke nisu komentirali tvrdnje A.D. da su za popravak bankomata zaduženi iz Fine.

Već više od mjesec dana umirovljenik A.D. iz Stona, pokušava doći do malo gotovine, ali bankomat u srcu mjesta jednostavno ne reagira na podražaje. Pokušavao je Stonjanin upozoriti nadležne da s aparatom nešto ne štima, okrenuo je niz telefona, no bez uspjeha:

- Ne znam više koga nisam zvao. Zadnje sam dobio šefa poslovnice PBZ-a i upozorio ga da im usred turističke sezone ne radi stonski bankomat, a on mi odgovara u stilu 'čujte, mi vam više to ne radimo, nego je to zadatak Fine, njima se javite'. Poslušao sam ga i nazvao Finu, a otamo su mi odgovorili da ne mogu ništa učinit jer nisu dobili nalog od PBZ-a? ' Pa, to je za ne vjerovat! - negoduje umirovljenik koji od PBZ-a prima mirovinu. Ako želi uzeti koju novčanicu, a ne ići na šalter, morao bi se poslužiti bankomatom druge banke, što mu baš i nije isplativo:
- Ako idem uzeti 100 kuna, druga banka će mi uzet 30 na transakciju! Zašto bi ja dao drugoj banci protuvrijednost 3 kila patata? A opet, da idem promijenit banku, to je cijela procedura, a i košta. Pa sam se nastavio žalit, iako su mi svi rekli da sam lud i da pustim sve. Nisam htio. Zašto bih ja zaimavao pare od drugih ako ih mogu preuzet na vratima od kuće – komentirao je A.D. koji je radni vijek proveo u jednom dubrovačkom komunalnog društvu gdje je vladao red i način, kaže nam. Radnici nisu išli na marendu dok ne bi obavili posao, a sad se svi izvlače, ljuti se naš sugovornik koji je zamolio medije da mu pomognu barem otkriti tko servisira i popravlja bankomate.

Na naš upit iz Privredne banke Zagreb odgovorili su kako je provjerom utvrđeno da je bankomat na lokaciji Trg Kralja Tomislava 1, Ston, imao privremeni zastoj rada uzrokovan tehničkim poteškoćama u radu samog bankomata:
- Zastoj se odnosio na grešku u alarmnom sustavu uređaja, uslijed čega je dolazilo do uključivanja alarma, te kako bismo izbjegli nepotrebno uznemiravanje građana uključivanjem alarma bankomat stavili izvan produkcije. Poduzeli smo sve potrebne aktivnosti kako bi se u što kraćem roku otklonile navedene tehničke poteškoće te će bankomat biti pušten u rad s potpunom funkcionalnošću – obećali su iz PBZ-a i ispričali se zbog 'okolnosti koje su dovele do nezadovoljstva građana Stona uslijed privremene poteškoće u radu bankomata.' Iz banke nisu komentirali tvrdnje A.D. da su za popravak bankomata zaduženi iz Fine.
