U Dalmaciji kažu da je poljoprivrede intrada i stvarno je tako. Od trenutka kada nešto posadi pa dok to ne obere poljoprivrednik strepi za svoje trude. Dovoljna je samo jedna ljetna oluja pa da nestane sav trud i muka uložena na polju. Upravo se to dogodilo poljoprivrednicima u Metkoviću kojima je katastrofalna krupa u samo nekoliko minuta sve otukla.
Branko Komazin iz Metkovića mladi je poljoprivrednik koji obrađuje deset hektara zemljišta. Bavi se intenzivnom proizvodnjom tikvica, pipuna, lubenica, patlidžana. Nedavna katastrofalna tuča uništila mu je većinu nasada. Štetu procjenjuje na preko 100 tisuća EUR-a.

- Kad sam vidio posljedice tuče došlo mi je da odustanem od svega, kazao nam je Branko, koji je krenuo u prskanje i zaštitu oštećenih nasada fungicidima kako bi se zaštitila oštećena mjesta na biljkama i spasilo što se spasiti dade.
- Nisam siguran da će se uspjeti išta obnoviti. Ako za desetak dana ne krene vegetacija onda ne preostaje ništa drugo nego čišćenje zemlje-kazao nam je Branko, koji na deset tisuća sadnica tikvica trenutačno nema ništa za ubrati za tržište. Zapravo ima oštećenih i izudaranih plodova koje treba obrati i baciti što stvara nove troškove. Sada mu ne preostaje ništa dugo nego čekati kako će biljke reagirati i hoće li biti novih cvjetova i plodova.

Ulaganja su poljoprivrednu proizvodnju su velika ali i rizici sa kojima se suočavaju poljoprivrednici koji u jednom trenutku mogu ostati bez svega. Kaže da se protiv tuče teško boriti. Za osiguranje nasada treba dosta financijskih sredstava i uvijek je upitno hoće li se od osiguravajuće kuće uspjeti naplatiti šteta a protugradne mreže ne može postavljati jer nije vlasnik zemlje već je koristi u najmu.Osim toga riječ je o velikim površinama koje je teško pokriti.
S obzirom na nepovoljne klimatske promjene za očekivati je da će se ovakve prirodne katastrofe ponavljati pa poljoprivrednicima koji se bave intenzivnom proizvodnjom preostaje jedino uplaćivati premije osiguranja od prirodnih nepogoda koje sufinancira Ministarstvo poljoprivrede kroz mjeru "Osiguranje poljoprivredne proizvodnje", u iznosu od 70,2 milijuna EUR-a, sve kako bi poljoprivrednici lakše prebrodili poremećaje u proizvodnom ciklusu.

U Dalmaciji kažu da je poljoprivrede intrada i stvarno je tako. Od trenutka kada nešto posadi pa dok to ne obere poljoprivrednik strepi za svoje trude. Dovoljna je samo jedna ljetna oluja pa da nestane sav trud i muka uložena na polju. Upravo se to dogodilo poljoprivrednicima u Metkoviću kojima je katastrofalna krupa u samo nekoliko minuta sve otukla.
Branko Komazin iz Metkovića mladi je poljoprivrednik koji obrađuje deset hektara zemljišta. Bavi se intenzivnom proizvodnjom tikvica, pipuna, lubenica, patlidžana. Nedavna katastrofalna tuča uništila mu je većinu nasada. Štetu procjenjuje na preko 100 tisuća EUR-a.

- Kad sam vidio posljedice tuče došlo mi je da odustanem od svega, kazao nam je Branko, koji je krenuo u prskanje i zaštitu oštećenih nasada fungicidima kako bi se zaštitila oštećena mjesta na biljkama i spasilo što se spasiti dade.
- Nisam siguran da će se uspjeti išta obnoviti. Ako za desetak dana ne krene vegetacija onda ne preostaje ništa drugo nego čišćenje zemlje-kazao nam je Branko, koji na deset tisuća sadnica tikvica trenutačno nema ništa za ubrati za tržište. Zapravo ima oštećenih i izudaranih plodova koje treba obrati i baciti što stvara nove troškove. Sada mu ne preostaje ništa dugo nego čekati kako će biljke reagirati i hoće li biti novih cvjetova i plodova.

Ulaganja su poljoprivrednu proizvodnju su velika ali i rizici sa kojima se suočavaju poljoprivrednici koji u jednom trenutku mogu ostati bez svega. Kaže da se protiv tuče teško boriti. Za osiguranje nasada treba dosta financijskih sredstava i uvijek je upitno hoće li se od osiguravajuće kuće uspjeti naplatiti šteta a protugradne mreže ne može postavljati jer nije vlasnik zemlje već je koristi u najmu.Osim toga riječ je o velikim površinama koje je teško pokriti.
S obzirom na nepovoljne klimatske promjene za očekivati je da će se ovakve prirodne katastrofe ponavljati pa poljoprivrednicima koji se bave intenzivnom proizvodnjom preostaje jedino uplaćivati premije osiguranja od prirodnih nepogoda koje sufinancira Ministarstvo poljoprivrede kroz mjeru "Osiguranje poljoprivredne proizvodnje", u iznosu od 70,2 milijuna EUR-a, sve kako bi poljoprivrednici lakše prebrodili poremećaje u proizvodnom ciklusu.
