Gradonačelnik Grada Dubrovnika Mato Franković, zamjenica Jelka Tepšić i pročelnica Upravnog odjela za europske fondove, regionalnu i međunarodnu suradnju Zrinka Raguž primili su danas predstavnike grada prijatelja Beyoğlua – zamjenicu i zamjenika gradonačelnika, Kübru Gülal i Yusufa Ulutaşa, dok je prijemu nazočila i generalna konzulica Republike Hrvatske u Istanbulu Ivana Zerec.

Uz riječi dobrodošlice gradonačelnik Franković poželio je gostima ugodan boravak u Dubrovniku, a predstavnici grada (općine po tamošnjem ustroju) Beyoğlua uputili su mu čestitke na njegovom novom mandatu na čelu grada. Tijekom razgovora izražena je obostrana želja da se odnosi dvaju gradova koji su do sada bili jako dobri, u vremenu nakon pandemije, dodatno unaprijede te da se materijaliziraju kroz realizaciju zajedničkih inicijativa i projekata, poglavito na polju kulture.

Predstavnici Beyoğlua tako su izrazili svoje oduševljenje Državnim arhivom u Sponzi te su predložili da jedan od prvih koraka suradnje u budućem razdoblju bude upravo organizacija izložbe u Istanbulu u suradnji s ovom ustanovom. Gradovi prijatelji, dogovoreno je načelno, nastavit će razvijati ovu ideju.

Općina Beyoğlu, koja je smještena u europskom dijelu Istanbula, jedna je od najrazvijenijih općina u cijeloj Turskoj, a glasi i kao „biser Istanbula“. Protokol o suradnji između gradova prijatelja potpisan je 2015. godine, a uski diplomatski i drugi odnosi Dubrovnika i Istanbula sežu duboko u prošlost. Jedna od poveznica je i konzulat Dubrovačke Republike koji se nalazio upravo na području današnje Općine.

U tom smislu značajan događaj je i donacija replike originalne mramorne ploče Konzulata iz 1720. godine. Odluku o donaciji Gradu Dubrovniku replike ploče (čiji se original čuva u Arheološkom muzeju u Istanbulu) donijela je upravo Općina Beyoğlu i to na inicijativu Generalnog konzulata RH u Turskoj te uz suglasnost Ministarstva kulture Turske.

Gradonačelnik Grada Dubrovnika Mato Franković, zamjenica Jelka Tepšić i pročelnica Upravnog odjela za europske fondove, regionalnu i međunarodnu suradnju Zrinka Raguž primili su danas predstavnike grada prijatelja Beyoğlua – zamjenicu i zamjenika gradonačelnika, Kübru Gülal i Yusufa Ulutaşa, dok je prijemu nazočila i generalna konzulica Republike Hrvatske u Istanbulu Ivana Zerec.

Uz riječi dobrodošlice gradonačelnik Franković poželio je gostima ugodan boravak u Dubrovniku, a predstavnici grada (općine po tamošnjem ustroju) Beyoğlua uputili su mu čestitke na njegovom novom mandatu na čelu grada. Tijekom razgovora izražena je obostrana želja da se odnosi dvaju gradova koji su do sada bili jako dobri, u vremenu nakon pandemije, dodatno unaprijede te da se materijaliziraju kroz realizaciju zajedničkih inicijativa i projekata, poglavito na polju kulture.

Predstavnici Beyoğlua tako su izrazili svoje oduševljenje Državnim arhivom u Sponzi te su predložili da jedan od prvih koraka suradnje u budućem razdoblju bude upravo organizacija izložbe u Istanbulu u suradnji s ovom ustanovom. Gradovi prijatelji, dogovoreno je načelno, nastavit će razvijati ovu ideju.

Općina Beyoğlu, koja je smještena u europskom dijelu Istanbula, jedna je od najrazvijenijih općina u cijeloj Turskoj, a glasi i kao „biser Istanbula“. Protokol o suradnji između gradova prijatelja potpisan je 2015. godine, a uski diplomatski i drugi odnosi Dubrovnika i Istanbula sežu duboko u prošlost. Jedna od poveznica je i konzulat Dubrovačke Republike koji se nalazio upravo na području današnje Općine.

U tom smislu značajan događaj je i donacija replike originalne mramorne ploče Konzulata iz 1720. godine. Odluku o donaciji Gradu Dubrovniku replike ploče (čiji se original čuva u Arheološkom muzeju u Istanbulu) donijela je upravo Općina Beyoğlu i to na inicijativu Generalnog konzulata RH u Turskoj te uz suglasnost Ministarstva kulture Turske.

Gradonačelnik Grada Dubrovnika Mato Franković, zamjenica Jelka Tepšić i pročelnica Upravnog odjela za europske fondove, regionalnu i međunarodnu suradnju Zrinka Raguž primili su danas predstavnike grada prijatelja Beyoğlua – zamjenicu i zamjenika gradonačelnika, Kübru Gülal i Yusufa Ulutaşa, dok je prijemu nazočila i generalna konzulica Republike Hrvatske u Istanbulu Ivana Zerec.
