U okviru ovogodišnje manifestacije Mjeseca hrvatske knjige i programa “Putositnice utorkom” u utorak, 8. studenoga 2022., u Saloči od zrcala, putopisac Goran Blažević održao je predavanje o svom projektu “Kontra vjetra” koja se temeljila na ideji da biciklom prijeđe udaljenost od 3500 kilometara, prateći jednu od tri migracijske rute koje afrički narodi koriste u pokušaju dolaska do Europe. Blažević je dva puta gostovao u Dubrovačkim knjižnicama, prvi put 2017. godine kada je promovirao knjigu „Svilim“ u kojoj je opisao svoje hodočašće izbjegličkom rutom od Petre u Jordanu do rodnog Umaga, tijekom kojeg je u pet mjeseci pješke prošao 3300 kilometara i 2020. godine kada je predstavio svoju putničku priču o 650 kilometara dugom pješčanom putu kroz drugu najveću svjetsku pustinju Rub al Khali i tom prilikom predstavio svoju drugu putopisnu knjigu “Karavana”.

Nova putnička priča Gorana Blaževića odvela je sve posjetitelje od zelenog Senegala preko vjetrovite Mauritanije i pustoši Zapadne Sahare, preko urbanog Maroka sve do španjolskog teritorija na afričkom kontinentu.

-Oni koji su me imali prilike slušati 2020. godine kada sam promovirao svoju knjigu “Karavana”, znaju da sam otprilike tada dobio priliku ući u pustinju, da sam dobio priliku učiti od beduina i da sam zapravo zavolio taj prostor. I čitavu tu 2019. godinu, to proljeće, ljeto, jesen sam razmišljao o toj pustinji, o tom pijesku, o tim vjetrovima i nešto unutra mi je govorilo da ja moram ponovno ući u takvo nekakvo prostranstvo, moram se suočiti s tom prazninom i sa samim sobom. Zapravo, mi kada putujemo uglavnom putujemo prema nekim destinacijama da vidimo nešto. U pustinji uglavnom nećemo vidjeti ništa, vidjet ćemo taj pijesak koji je stalno isti i zapravo nismo svjesni da mi u pustinju odlazimo da bismo vidjeli sebe, upoznali sebe. - započeo je Blažević na početku svoje putopisne priče.

-Moj je cilj bio prelazak Saharske pustinje, ali kako svako putovanje želim na neki način povezati s nekim projektom i nekom pričom bila je ideja da pokušamo pratiti jednu od mnogih afričkih migracijskih ruta. Te afričke migrantske rute prolaze kroz samo srce Sahare, kroz zemlje kroz koje je jako opasno putovati, skoro nemoguće. - komentirao je Blažević.

Na tom mu se putu pridružio Ivan Mladenović iz Šida kojeg nikada do tada nije upoznao uživo, te su se suočili s vlastitim pogledima na svijet i krenuli u prelazak čitavog ruba Saharske pustinje isključivo vlastitim snagama – kontra raznih izazova, kontra vjetra koji neprestano puše u suprotnom smjeru. Blažević je istaknuo kako biciklisti uglavnom biraju obrnuti smjer rute kojom su oni biciklirali, upravo radi vjetrova koji su izrazito snažni i samim time otežavaju putovanje. Za ovaj pothvat im je trebalo mjesec i pol dana, a tijekom svog putovanja objasnio je kako je očekivao da će se, s obzirom na to da je bijelac, morati suočiti s neugodnim

pogledima afričkog stanovništva, međutim, u nijednom trenutku se nije tako osjećao te ga, kako kaže, “nitko nije doživljavao”. Na kraju svoje rute, putovanje nije završilo jer je krenula COVID-19 pandemija i Blažević je, kako kaže, “tek iz šestog pokušaja kupnje avionske karte” uspio doći na balkansko tlo u vremenu kada je cijeli svijet bio zatvoren radi korona pandemije. Za ovaj je poduhvat Goran Blažević dobio Nagradu Dijana Klarić za Najbolji projekt na Festivalu putnika u Šibeniku 2021. godine.

U okviru ovogodišnje manifestacije Mjeseca hrvatske knjige i programa “Putositnice utorkom” u utorak, 8. studenoga 2022., u Saloči od zrcala, putopisac Goran Blažević održao je predavanje o svom projektu “Kontra vjetra” koja se temeljila na ideji da biciklom prijeđe udaljenost od 3500 kilometara, prateći jednu od tri migracijske rute koje afrički narodi koriste u pokušaju dolaska do Europe. Blažević je dva puta gostovao u Dubrovačkim knjižnicama, prvi put 2017. godine kada je promovirao knjigu „Svilim“ u kojoj je opisao svoje hodočašće izbjegličkom rutom od Petre u Jordanu do rodnog Umaga, tijekom kojeg je u pet mjeseci pješke prošao 3300 kilometara i 2020. godine kada je predstavio svoju putničku priču o 650 kilometara dugom pješčanom putu kroz drugu najveću svjetsku pustinju Rub al Khali i tom prilikom predstavio svoju drugu putopisnu knjigu “Karavana”.

Nova putnička priča Gorana Blaževića odvela je sve posjetitelje od zelenog Senegala preko vjetrovite Mauritanije i pustoši Zapadne Sahare, preko urbanog Maroka sve do španjolskog teritorija na afričkom kontinentu.

-Oni koji su me imali prilike slušati 2020. godine kada sam promovirao svoju knjigu “Karavana”, znaju da sam otprilike tada dobio priliku ući u pustinju, da sam dobio priliku učiti od beduina i da sam zapravo zavolio taj prostor. I čitavu tu 2019. godinu, to proljeće, ljeto, jesen sam razmišljao o toj pustinji, o tom pijesku, o tim vjetrovima i nešto unutra mi je govorilo da ja moram ponovno ući u takvo nekakvo prostranstvo, moram se suočiti s tom prazninom i sa samim sobom. Zapravo, mi kada putujemo uglavnom putujemo prema nekim destinacijama da vidimo nešto. U pustinji uglavnom nećemo vidjeti ništa, vidjet ćemo taj pijesak koji je stalno isti i zapravo nismo svjesni da mi u pustinju odlazimo da bismo vidjeli sebe, upoznali sebe. - započeo je Blažević na početku svoje putopisne priče.

-Moj je cilj bio prelazak Saharske pustinje, ali kako svako putovanje želim na neki način povezati s nekim projektom i nekom pričom bila je ideja da pokušamo pratiti jednu od mnogih afričkih migracijskih ruta. Te afričke migrantske rute prolaze kroz samo srce Sahare, kroz zemlje kroz koje je jako opasno putovati, skoro nemoguće. - komentirao je Blažević.

Na tom mu se putu pridružio Ivan Mladenović iz Šida kojeg nikada do tada nije upoznao uživo, te su se suočili s vlastitim pogledima na svijet i krenuli u prelazak čitavog ruba Saharske pustinje isključivo vlastitim snagama – kontra raznih izazova, kontra vjetra koji neprestano puše u suprotnom smjeru. Blažević je istaknuo kako biciklisti uglavnom biraju obrnuti smjer rute kojom su oni biciklirali, upravo radi vjetrova koji su izrazito snažni i samim time otežavaju putovanje. Za ovaj pothvat im je trebalo mjesec i pol dana, a tijekom svog putovanja objasnio je kako je očekivao da će se, s obzirom na to da je bijelac, morati suočiti s neugodnim

pogledima afričkog stanovništva, međutim, u nijednom trenutku se nije tako osjećao te ga, kako kaže, “nitko nije doživljavao”. Na kraju svoje rute, putovanje nije završilo jer je krenula COVID-19 pandemija i Blažević je, kako kaže, “tek iz šestog pokušaja kupnje avionske karte” uspio doći na balkansko tlo u vremenu kada je cijeli svijet bio zatvoren radi korona pandemije. Za ovaj je poduhvat Goran Blažević dobio Nagradu Dijana Klarić za Najbolji projekt na Festivalu putnika u Šibeniku 2021. godine.
