Premda su terenska istraživanja na otoku Hvaru iz 2018. godine pokazala da mungos nije na vrhu ljestvice štetočina koje uništavaju gnijezda ptica, tamo je svrstan tek nakon kune bjelice i sive vrane, lovci su ih tijekom posljednjih desetljeća doslovno potamanili, objavila je Slobodna Dalmacija.

Stoga ih se danas doista rijetko viđamo na škoju na kojem, kako mnogi tvrde, zbog toga caruju - poskoci. Ljudi ih sve češće susreću viđaju naročito tijekom babljega ljeta kao što je bilo ove godine, a nedavno je ugrizao psa.

No, tu nije bio kraj problemima s tom "domaćom" otrovnicom, jer je težak iz Bogomolja tresačem "skinuo" zmiju sa stabla masline na prostirku za prikupljanje plodova, a nedavno je, kako smo pisali, na ljutica na otoku ugrizla Roka Roića (46), penjača i IT poduzetnika koji živi na relaciji Zagreb – Hvar.

Kako se moglo čuti, on je u kritično vrijeme "skautirao" novu stijenu za potencijalno penjalište na škoju, pa se i penjao njome. U jednom trenutku osjetio je atipičan ugriz zmije samo jednim očnjakom te je kao iskusan slobodni penjač već za dvadesetak minuta, sukladno preporukama medicinara, s djelomično otečenom rukom stigao do Ispostave hitne pomoći u Jelsi.

Prema navodima pojedinih medija, medicinari u jelsi nisu imali protuotrova, te su mu dali antibiotik i poslali ga bez pratnje na trajekt koji je iz Staroga Grada za Split kretao za 15-tak minuta. Na brodu ga je snašlo povraćanje, a doslovno cijelim putem imao je i nekontroliranu stolicu.

Kada je s bratom stigao u bolnicu na Križinama navodno ni tamo na Hitnoj nije bilo seruma, pa je poslan na Kliniku za zarazne bolesti gdje ga je napokon primio nakon čak pet sati.

Takvo neuobičajeno postupanje ispostave Zavoda za hitnu medicinu Splitsko-dalmatinske županije razljutilo je brojne Hvarane, koji znaju da je na škoju najčešće bilo seruma. Otočani su se na društvenim mrežema okomili i na aktualnog ministra zdravstva Vilija Beroša (HDZ), koji je rodom upravo iz Jelse.

S druge strane, dr. Leo Luetić, ravnatelj županijskog Zavoda, tvrdi da ta ustanova ima zmijski protuotrov:

- Serumom su opskrbljene i Ispostave hitne medicine u Jelsi i Hvaru. Pacijenta su 27. listopada u 17 sati primile specijalistica hitne medicine s 19-godišnjim radnim iskustvom u hitnoj medicini na Hvaru, i medicinska sestra.

Pacijent se žalio da je osjetio bol na ruci nalik ugrizu te da je 20 metara od tog mjesta opazio poskoka. Službujuća liječnica ni po izgledu rane, a ni po anamnezi uzetoj od pacijenta nije bila sigurna da se radi o ugrizu zmije. Zbog toga je ordinirala antialergijsku terapiju, a ne antibiotsku, te je pacijenta uputila u Kliniku za infektologiju KBC-a Split na daljnje promatranje i liječenje.

U konačnici smo kontaktirali i penjača Roića, ali se zahvalio na kontaktu i dodao da je oko ovog slučaja nadalje - nedostupan.

Premda su terenska istraživanja na otoku Hvaru iz 2018. godine pokazala da mungos nije na vrhu ljestvice štetočina koje uništavaju gnijezda ptica, tamo je svrstan tek nakon kune bjelice i sive vrane, lovci su ih tijekom posljednjih desetljeća doslovno potamanili, objavila je Slobodna Dalmacija.

Stoga ih se danas doista rijetko viđamo na škoju na kojem, kako mnogi tvrde, zbog toga caruju - poskoci. Ljudi ih sve češće susreću viđaju naročito tijekom babljega ljeta kao što je bilo ove godine, a nedavno je ugrizao psa.

No, tu nije bio kraj problemima s tom "domaćom" otrovnicom, jer je težak iz Bogomolja tresačem "skinuo" zmiju sa stabla masline na prostirku za prikupljanje plodova, a nedavno je, kako smo pisali, na ljutica na otoku ugrizla Roka Roića (46), penjača i IT poduzetnika koji živi na relaciji Zagreb – Hvar.

Kako se moglo čuti, on je u kritično vrijeme "skautirao" novu stijenu za potencijalno penjalište na škoju, pa se i penjao njome. U jednom trenutku osjetio je atipičan ugriz zmije samo jednim očnjakom te je kao iskusan slobodni penjač već za dvadesetak minuta, sukladno preporukama medicinara, s djelomično otečenom rukom stigao do Ispostave hitne pomoći u Jelsi.

Prema navodima pojedinih medija, medicinari u jelsi nisu imali protuotrova, te su mu dali antibiotik i poslali ga bez pratnje na trajekt koji je iz Staroga Grada za Split kretao za 15-tak minuta. Na brodu ga je snašlo povraćanje, a doslovno cijelim putem imao je i nekontroliranu stolicu.

Kada je s bratom stigao u bolnicu na Križinama navodno ni tamo na Hitnoj nije bilo seruma, pa je poslan na Kliniku za zarazne bolesti gdje ga je napokon primio nakon čak pet sati.

Takvo neuobičajeno postupanje ispostave Zavoda za hitnu medicinu Splitsko-dalmatinske županije razljutilo je brojne Hvarane, koji znaju da je na škoju najčešće bilo seruma. Otočani su se na društvenim mrežema okomili i na aktualnog ministra zdravstva Vilija Beroša (HDZ), koji je rodom upravo iz Jelse.

S druge strane, dr. Leo Luetić, ravnatelj županijskog Zavoda, tvrdi da ta ustanova ima zmijski protuotrov:

- Serumom su opskrbljene i Ispostave hitne medicine u Jelsi i Hvaru. Pacijenta su 27. listopada u 17 sati primile specijalistica hitne medicine s 19-godišnjim radnim iskustvom u hitnoj medicini na Hvaru, i medicinska sestra.

Pacijent se žalio da je osjetio bol na ruci nalik ugrizu te da je 20 metara od tog mjesta opazio poskoka. Službujuća liječnica ni po izgledu rane, a ni po anamnezi uzetoj od pacijenta nije bila sigurna da se radi o ugrizu zmije. Zbog toga je ordinirala antialergijsku terapiju, a ne antibiotsku, te je pacijenta uputila u Kliniku za infektologiju KBC-a Split na daljnje promatranje i liječenje.

U konačnici smo kontaktirali i penjača Roića, ali se zahvalio na kontaktu i dodao da je oko ovog slučaja nadalje - nedostupan.
