CPharm International (ECI), njemačka tvrtka za istraživanje i razvoj, obavijestila je da planira višemilijunsko ulaganje u Afganistan koji kontroliraju talibani, s ciljem proizvodnje marihuane u medicinske svrhe. Nakon nesretnog slučaja pogrešnog identiteta krajem 2021., medijska agencija Vice pronašla je njemačku tvrtku koja je sklopila dogovor s talibanima, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.
Prošle godine, tweet afganistanskog Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova tvrdio je da se tvrtka pod nazivom "Cpharm" sastala s talibanskim dužnosnicima i da će uložiti 450 milijuna dolara u Afganistan kako bi uspostavila operaciju "prerade hašiša". Mediji su pogrešno identificirali malu australsku tvrtku za medicinsko savjetovanje istog imena iz koje su žestoko poricali povezanost s talibanima.
Werner Zimmermann, 56, vlasnik i izvršni direktor ECI-ja, rekao je za Vice da nije sretan što su vijesti o dogovoru izašle u javnost, te tvrdi da je opseg sporazuma pogrešno protumačen. Njegova tvrtka već posluje u Lesotu, Maroku, Kirgistanu, Sjevernoj Makedoniji i na Cipru, a na popis će se uskoro dodati Kazahstan i Afganistan.
Zimmermannova tvrtka gradi pogone za preradu kanabisa i savjetuje o pravnim pitanjima, kao što je izvedivost izvoza medicinske trave u druge zemlje. Afganistanski projekt trebao bi uslijediti nakon izgradnje tvornice vrijedne 500.000 eura u Kazahstanu. ECI planira proizvoditi medicinski kanabis u Afganistanu za lokalna i međunarodna tržišta, ali ako zemlje poput Njemačke legaliziraju rekreativnu uporabu konoplje, mogli bi početi uzgajati biljku i za tu uporabu, rekao je ovaj poslovni čovjek.

Zimmermann je odbacio zabrinutost zbog kršenja ljudskih prava koje su počinili talibani. 'S nadležnim ministrom unutarnjih poslova radim profesionalno, a ne ideološki, i podržavam ih svojim projektom', rekao je. Također je ustvrdio da prima prijetnje od predstavnika europskog narko kartela koji nisu zadovoljni njegovim planovima, što bi moglo smanjiti njihov udio na tržištu.
Unatoč tome što je zabranjena od 70-ih godina, biljka kanabisa je autohtona u Afganistanu i, barem do talibanskog preuzimanja u ljeto, konzumirali su je ljudi u zabačenim dijelovima ove zemlje.

Prošle godine, tweet afganistanskog Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova tvrdio je da se tvrtka pod nazivom "Cpharm" sastala s talibanskim dužnosnicima i da će uložiti 450 milijuna dolara u Afganistan kako bi uspostavila operaciju "prerade hašiša". Mediji su pogrešno identificirali malu australsku tvrtku za medicinsko savjetovanje istog imena iz koje su žestoko poricali povezanost s talibanima.
Werner Zimmermann, 56, vlasnik i izvršni direktor ECI-ja, rekao je za Vice da nije sretan što su vijesti o dogovoru izašle u javnost, te tvrdi da je opseg sporazuma pogrešno protumačen. Njegova tvrtka već posluje u Lesotu, Maroku, Kirgistanu, Sjevernoj Makedoniji i na Cipru, a na popis će se uskoro dodati Kazahstan i Afganistan.
Zimmermannova tvrtka gradi pogone za preradu kanabisa i savjetuje o pravnim pitanjima, kao što je izvedivost izvoza medicinske trave u druge zemlje. Afganistanski projekt trebao bi uslijediti nakon izgradnje tvornice vrijedne 500.000 eura u Kazahstanu. ECI planira proizvoditi medicinski kanabis u Afganistanu za lokalna i međunarodna tržišta, ali ako zemlje poput Njemačke legaliziraju rekreativnu uporabu konoplje, mogli bi početi uzgajati biljku i za tu uporabu, rekao je ovaj poslovni čovjek.

Zimmermann je odbacio zabrinutost zbog kršenja ljudskih prava koje su počinili talibani. 'S nadležnim ministrom unutarnjih poslova radim profesionalno, a ne ideološki, i podržavam ih svojim projektom', rekao je. Također je ustvrdio da prima prijetnje od predstavnika europskog narko kartela koji nisu zadovoljni njegovim planovima, što bi moglo smanjiti njihov udio na tržištu.
Unatoč tome što je zabranjena od 70-ih godina, biljka kanabisa je autohtona u Afganistanu i, barem do talibanskog preuzimanja u ljeto, konzumirali su je ljudi u zabačenim dijelovima ove zemlje.
