Kirurzi su ponekad iznenađeni onim što mogu otkriti u želucu pacijenta tijekom operacije. Ali ništa nije moglo pripremiti liječnike Hangala Sri Kumareshwara, u Bagalkotu u Indiji, za ono što su iskopali krajem studenog, u utrobi čovjeka u tridesetim godinama.

Odvezen u bolnicu od strane obitelji, pacijent se žalio na često "ljuljanje" i povraćanje. Preliminarni pregledi, rendgenske snimke i endoskopije omogućili su vrlo brzo utvrđivanje uzroka ovih poremećaja: ogromnu količinu kovanica, progutanih svaki dan tijekom tri mjeseca.

Težina od 1,5 kilograma metala

Tijekom kirurškog zahvat koji je trajao više od dva sata izvađeno je ukupno 187 kovanica težine 1,5 kg.

"Želudac je bio strašno proširen i u svakom kutu bilo je kovanica", kaže dr. Eshwar Kalaburgi. No, začudo, čovjek, čiji identitet nije otkriven, zadržava nekoliko posljedica ove zbunjujuće prehrane: "Liječili smo početak dehidracije i nekoliko drugih manjih simptoma. Ali pacijent je stabilan i može normalno govoriti."

Japanski rekord: 1894 komada

Ovaj žderač novčića pati od psihijatrijskog poremećaja, od kojeg neki pojedinci kompulzivno gutaju materijale svih vrsta, papira, tkanine, drva, plastike i, naravno, metala, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija. 

Ovaj pacijent vjerojatno neće, na sreću, imati priliku izjednačiti japanski rekord na ovom području: 1894 kovanice koje je čovjek u pedesetim godinama apsorbiraodva desetljeća. I on je preživio unatoč tom "blagu" od 8,5 kilograma koje zauzima većinu želuca.

Kirurzi su ponekad iznenađeni onim što mogu otkriti u želucu pacijenta tijekom operacije. Ali ništa nije moglo pripremiti liječnike Hangala Sri Kumareshwara, u Bagalkotu u Indiji, za ono što su iskopali krajem studenog, u utrobi čovjeka u tridesetim godinama.

Odvezen u bolnicu od strane obitelji, pacijent se žalio na često "ljuljanje" i povraćanje. Preliminarni pregledi, rendgenske snimke i endoskopije omogućili su vrlo brzo utvrđivanje uzroka ovih poremećaja: ogromnu količinu kovanica, progutanih svaki dan tijekom tri mjeseca.

Težina od 1,5 kilograma metala

Tijekom kirurškog zahvat koji je trajao više od dva sata izvađeno je ukupno 187 kovanica težine 1,5 kg.

"Želudac je bio strašno proširen i u svakom kutu bilo je kovanica", kaže dr. Eshwar Kalaburgi. No, začudo, čovjek, čiji identitet nije otkriven, zadržava nekoliko posljedica ove zbunjujuće prehrane: "Liječili smo početak dehidracije i nekoliko drugih manjih simptoma. Ali pacijent je stabilan i može normalno govoriti."

Japanski rekord: 1894 komada

Ovaj žderač novčića pati od psihijatrijskog poremećaja, od kojeg neki pojedinci kompulzivno gutaju materijale svih vrsta, papira, tkanine, drva, plastike i, naravno, metala, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija. 

Ovaj pacijent vjerojatno neće, na sreću, imati priliku izjednačiti japanski rekord na ovom području: 1894 kovanice koje je čovjek u pedesetim godinama apsorbiraodva desetljeća. I on je preživio unatoč tom "blagu" od 8,5 kilograma koje zauzima većinu želuca.

Nakon što su kirurzi tijekom operacije otvorili želudac pacijenta, ostali su iznenađeni onim što su našli u njemu

Kirurzi su ponekad iznenađeni onim što mogu otkriti u želucu pacijenta tijekom operacije. Ali ništa nije moglo pripremiti liječnike Hangala Sri Kumareshwara, u Bagalkotu u Indiji, za ono što su iskopali krajem studenog, u utrobi čovjeka u tridesetim godinama.

Odvezen u bolnicu od strane obitelji, pacijent se žalio na često "ljuljanje" i povraćanje. Preliminarni pregledi, rendgenske snimke i endoskopije omogućili su vrlo brzo utvrđivanje uzroka ovih poremećaja: ogromnu količinu kovanica, progutanih svaki dan tijekom tri mjeseca.

Težina od 1,5 kilograma metala

Tijekom kirurškog zahvat koji je trajao više od dva sata izvađeno je ukupno 187 kovanica težine 1,5 kg.

"Želudac je bio strašno proširen i u svakom kutu bilo je kovanica", kaže dr. Eshwar Kalaburgi. No, začudo, čovjek, čiji identitet nije otkriven, zadržava nekoliko posljedica ove zbunjujuće prehrane: "Liječili smo početak dehidracije i nekoliko drugih manjih simptoma. Ali pacijent je stabilan i može normalno govoriti."

Japanski rekord: 1894 komada

Ovaj žderač novčića pati od psihijatrijskog poremećaja, od kojeg neki pojedinci kompulzivno gutaju materijale svih vrsta, papira, tkanine, drva, plastike i, naravno, metala, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija. 

Ovaj pacijent vjerojatno neće, na sreću, imati priliku izjednačiti japanski rekord na ovom području: 1894 kovanice koje je čovjek u pedesetim godinama apsorbiraodva desetljeća. I on je preživio unatoč tom "blagu" od 8,5 kilograma koje zauzima većinu želuca.
