Hrvatski znanstvenici Marija Rosandić i Vladimir Paar objavili su u međunarodnom časopisu BioSystems otkriće supersimetrije genetskog koda, za koje Paar kaže da je "jedna od tajni genetike koju su mnogi svjetski znanstvenici bezuspješno pokušavali pronaći tijekom više od pola stoljeća".

Otkriće je objavljeno u kolovozu prošle godine, a jedan od autora, Paar, u priopćenju poslanom Hini objašnjava da je, pojednostavljeno rečeno, genetski kod način kako se pomoću 64 genetska "znaka" u svim živim bićima "šifriraju" 24 "proizvoda".

Pritom se svaki "znak", tzv. kodon, sastoji od trojke nukleotida. Postoje četiri vrste nukleotida, označenih slovima A, G, C, T za DNA, i A, G, C, U za RNA molekulu. "Proizvod" su 20 vrsta aminokiselina, od kojih su građene bjelančevine (proteini), a od proteina su građena sva živa bića, od virusa do čovjeka.

Dakle, genetski kod je pravilo koje kaže kojemu proteinskom "proizvodu" odgovara koji genetski "znak", ističe Paar.

Matematički je bilo utvrđeno da je broj mogućnosti različitih pridruživanja 64 broju 20 nezamislivo velik, odnosno da iznosi oko 10 na 84., tj. broj koji iza 1 ima čak 84 nule. Koliko je velik taj broj, možemo si predočiti time da je po veličini usporediv s brojem atoma u svemiru, objašnjava Paar.

Rosandić i Paar u svojoj teoriji polaze od općenitog Einsteinovog stava iz fizike, koji smatra da su simetrije, u mnogo širem smislu od uobičajenog, dominantni koncept u fundamentalnim zakonima fizike, tako da se princip simetrije smatra primarnim svojstvom prirode. Dakle, da principi simetrije diktiraju temeljne prirodne zakone.

Tim otkrićem autori dolaze do novog pogleda na porijeklo života i evoluciju temeljenu na simetrijama, koja smatra da nije bilo evolucije genetskog koda, nego je on od postanka života stalan i nepromjenjiv, kao što su i broj i vrsta standardnih amino kiselina stalni i nepromjenjivi.

Drugim riječima, znači da su već od početka razvoja života prisutne sve aminokiseline i genetski kod kao konkretna realizacija te temeljne simetrije. To “zlatno pravilo” evolucije, univerzalno je i nepromjenjivo tijekom evolucije za sva živa bića na Zemlji, objašnjava Paar.

Dva mjeseca nakon objave teorija je dobila dodatne argumente otkrićem japanskih znanstvenika da se na 300 milijuna kilometara udaljenom asteroidu Ryugu, što je dvostruko veća udaljenost nego udaljenost između Zemlje i Sunca, nalaze uzorci amino kiselina, temeljne građe svih živih bića na Zemlji.

Časopis Science je uz senzacionalno otkriće japanskih znanstvenika objavio pismo s iznošenjem otkrića Rosandić-Paar supersimetrije koje daje teorijski okvir japanskom rezultatu, ističe Paar.

U ranijim tekstovima na ovom istraživanju kao koautori sudjelovali su i drugi znanstvenici iz Hrvatske, osobito Matko Glunčić, Ines Vlahović, Ivan Basar i Nenad Pavin.

Hrvatski znanstvenici Marija Rosandić i Vladimir Paar objavili su u međunarodnom časopisu BioSystems otkriće supersimetrije genetskog koda, za koje Paar kaže da je "jedna od tajni genetike koju su mnogi svjetski znanstvenici bezuspješno pokušavali pronaći tijekom više od pola stoljeća".

Otkriće je objavljeno u kolovozu prošle godine, a jedan od autora, Paar, u priopćenju poslanom Hini objašnjava da je, pojednostavljeno rečeno, genetski kod način kako se pomoću 64 genetska "znaka" u svim živim bićima "šifriraju" 24 "proizvoda".

Pritom se svaki "znak", tzv. kodon, sastoji od trojke nukleotida. Postoje četiri vrste nukleotida, označenih slovima A, G, C, T za DNA, i A, G, C, U za RNA molekulu. "Proizvod" su 20 vrsta aminokiselina, od kojih su građene bjelančevine (proteini), a od proteina su građena sva živa bića, od virusa do čovjeka.

Dakle, genetski kod je pravilo koje kaže kojemu proteinskom "proizvodu" odgovara koji genetski "znak", ističe Paar.

Matematički je bilo utvrđeno da je broj mogućnosti različitih pridruživanja 64 broju 20 nezamislivo velik, odnosno da iznosi oko 10 na 84., tj. broj koji iza 1 ima čak 84 nule. Koliko je velik taj broj, možemo si predočiti time da je po veličini usporediv s brojem atoma u svemiru, objašnjava Paar.

Rosandić i Paar u svojoj teoriji polaze od općenitog Einsteinovog stava iz fizike, koji smatra da su simetrije, u mnogo širem smislu od uobičajenog, dominantni koncept u fundamentalnim zakonima fizike, tako da se princip simetrije smatra primarnim svojstvom prirode. Dakle, da principi simetrije diktiraju temeljne prirodne zakone.

Tim otkrićem autori dolaze do novog pogleda na porijeklo života i evoluciju temeljenu na simetrijama, koja smatra da nije bilo evolucije genetskog koda, nego je on od postanka života stalan i nepromjenjiv, kao što su i broj i vrsta standardnih amino kiselina stalni i nepromjenjivi.

Drugim riječima, znači da su već od početka razvoja života prisutne sve aminokiseline i genetski kod kao konkretna realizacija te temeljne simetrije. To “zlatno pravilo” evolucije, univerzalno je i nepromjenjivo tijekom evolucije za sva živa bića na Zemlji, objašnjava Paar.

Dva mjeseca nakon objave teorija je dobila dodatne argumente otkrićem japanskih znanstvenika da se na 300 milijuna kilometara udaljenom asteroidu Ryugu, što je dvostruko veća udaljenost nego udaljenost između Zemlje i Sunca, nalaze uzorci amino kiselina, temeljne građe svih živih bića na Zemlji.

Časopis Science je uz senzacionalno otkriće japanskih znanstvenika objavio pismo s iznošenjem otkrića Rosandić-Paar supersimetrije koje daje teorijski okvir japanskom rezultatu, ističe Paar.

U ranijim tekstovima na ovom istraživanju kao koautori sudjelovali su i drugi znanstvenici iz Hrvatske, osobito Matko Glunčić, Ines Vlahović, Ivan Basar i Nenad Pavin.

Hrvatski znanstvenici otkrili jednu od najvećih tajni genetike za čijim se rješenjem tragalo više od pola stoljeća

Hrvatski znanstvenici Marija Rosandić i Vladimir Paar objavili su u međunarodnom časopisu BioSystems otkriće supersimetrije genetskog koda, za koje Paar kaže da je "jedna od tajni genetike koju su mnogi svjetski znanstvenici bezuspješno pokušavali pronaći tijekom više od pola stoljeća".

Otkriće je objavljeno u kolovozu prošle godine, a jedan od autora, Paar, u priopćenju poslanom Hini objašnjava da je, pojednostavljeno rečeno, genetski kod način kako se pomoću 64 genetska "znaka" u svim živim bićima "šifriraju" 24 "proizvoda".

Pritom se svaki "znak", tzv. kodon, sastoji od trojke nukleotida. Postoje četiri vrste nukleotida, označenih slovima A, G, C, T za DNA, i A, G, C, U za RNA molekulu. "Proizvod" su 20 vrsta aminokiselina, od kojih su građene bjelančevine (proteini), a od proteina su građena sva živa bića, od virusa do čovjeka.

Dakle, genetski kod je pravilo koje kaže kojemu proteinskom "proizvodu" odgovara koji genetski "znak", ističe Paar.

Matematički je bilo utvrđeno da je broj mogućnosti različitih pridruživanja 64 broju 20 nezamislivo velik, odnosno da iznosi oko 10 na 84., tj. broj koji iza 1 ima čak 84 nule. Koliko je velik taj broj, možemo si predočiti time da je po veličini usporediv s brojem atoma u svemiru, objašnjava Paar.

Rosandić i Paar u svojoj teoriji polaze od općenitog Einsteinovog stava iz fizike, koji smatra da su simetrije, u mnogo širem smislu od uobičajenog, dominantni koncept u fundamentalnim zakonima fizike, tako da se princip simetrije smatra primarnim svojstvom prirode. Dakle, da principi simetrije diktiraju temeljne prirodne zakone.

Tim otkrićem autori dolaze do novog pogleda na porijeklo života i evoluciju temeljenu na simetrijama, koja smatra da nije bilo evolucije genetskog koda, nego je on od postanka života stalan i nepromjenjiv, kao što su i broj i vrsta standardnih amino kiselina stalni i nepromjenjivi.

Drugim riječima, znači da su već od početka razvoja života prisutne sve aminokiseline i genetski kod kao konkretna realizacija te temeljne simetrije. To “zlatno pravilo” evolucije, univerzalno je i nepromjenjivo tijekom evolucije za sva živa bića na Zemlji, objašnjava Paar.
