EU se sprema izreći rekordnu novčanu kaznu Meti, matičnoj tvrtki Facebooka, zbog kršenja privatnosti prijenosom podataka Facebookovih korisnika iz Unije na servere u SAD-u i nepoštivanja upozorenja suda EU-a, rekla su dva izvora, donosi Hina.

Kazna će biti veća od dosadašnjeg rekorda, novčane kazne od 746 milijuna eura koju je EU odrezao tvrtki Amazon.com, kazali su izvori. Iz Mete su odbili komentirati. Irska komisija za zaštitu podataka (DPC) i Europska komisija nisu odmah odgovorile na Reutersov upit da komentiraju informaciju.

Europski regulatori na čelu s irskom povjerenicom za zaštitu podataka Helen Dixon dovršavaju zabranu pravnog alata koji Facebook koristi za prijenos podataka europskih korisnika u SAD, potaknuti bojaznima da bi američke obavještajne službe mogle dobiti pristup podacima.

U travnju su upozorili da irski regulator za zaštitu podataka ima rok od mjesec dana da izda nalog kojim bi se blokirao Facebookov prijenos podataka preko Atlantika. Zabrana bi mogla stupiti na snagu idućih dana.

Najviši europski sud poništio je 2020. sporazum SAD-a i EU-a o prijenosu podataka, ukazujući na strahovanja od nadzora, podsjeća Reuters.

Iz Mete su pak prošle godine upozorili da bi zbog zabrane mehanizma koji koriste za prijenos podataka iz Europe u SAD mogli biti primorani obustaviti Facebookove usluge na Starom kontinentu.

EU se sprema izreći rekordnu novčanu kaznu Meti, matičnoj tvrtki Facebooka, zbog kršenja privatnosti prijenosom podataka Facebookovih korisnika iz Unije na servere u SAD-u i nepoštivanja upozorenja suda EU-a, rekla su dva izvora, donosi Hina.

Kazna će biti veća od dosadašnjeg rekorda, novčane kazne od 746 milijuna eura koju je EU odrezao tvrtki Amazon.com, kazali su izvori. Iz Mete su odbili komentirati. Irska komisija za zaštitu podataka (DPC) i Europska komisija nisu odmah odgovorile na Reutersov upit da komentiraju informaciju.

Europski regulatori na čelu s irskom povjerenicom za zaštitu podataka Helen Dixon dovršavaju zabranu pravnog alata koji Facebook koristi za prijenos podataka europskih korisnika u SAD, potaknuti bojaznima da bi američke obavještajne službe mogle dobiti pristup podacima.

U travnju su upozorili da irski regulator za zaštitu podataka ima rok od mjesec dana da izda nalog kojim bi se blokirao Facebookov prijenos podataka preko Atlantika. Zabrana bi mogla stupiti na snagu idućih dana.

Najviši europski sud poništio je 2020. sporazum SAD-a i EU-a o prijenosu podataka, ukazujući na strahovanja od nadzora, podsjeća Reuters.

Iz Mete su pak prošle godine upozorili da bi zbog zabrane mehanizma koji koriste za prijenos podataka iz Europe u SAD mogli biti primorani obustaviti Facebookove usluge na Starom kontinentu.

EU za Facebook sprema kaznu veću od od 746 milijuna eura: ‘Kršili ste prava privatnosti‘

EU se sprema izreći rekordnu novčanu kaznu Meti, matičnoj tvrtki Facebooka, zbog kršenja privatnosti prijenosom podataka Facebookovih korisnika iz Unije na servere u SAD-u i nepoštivanja upozorenja suda EU-a, rekla su dva izvora, donosi Hina.

Kazna će biti veća od dosadašnjeg rekorda, novčane kazne od 746 milijuna eura koju je EU odrezao tvrtki Amazon.com, kazali su izvori. Iz Mete su odbili komentirati. Irska komisija za zaštitu podataka (DPC) i Europska komisija nisu odmah odgovorile na Reutersov upit da komentiraju informaciju.

Europski regulatori na čelu s irskom povjerenicom za zaštitu podataka Helen Dixon dovršavaju zabranu pravnog alata koji Facebook koristi za prijenos podataka europskih korisnika u SAD, potaknuti bojaznima da bi američke obavještajne službe mogle dobiti pristup podacima.

U travnju su upozorili da irski regulator za zaštitu podataka ima rok od mjesec dana da izda nalog kojim bi se blokirao Facebookov prijenos podataka preko Atlantika. Zabrana bi mogla stupiti na snagu idućih dana.

Najviši europski sud poništio je 2020. sporazum SAD-a i EU-a o prijenosu podataka, ukazujući na strahovanja od nadzora, podsjeća Reuters.

Iz Mete su pak prošle godine upozorili da bi zbog zabrane mehanizma koji koriste za prijenos podataka iz Europe u SAD mogli biti primorani obustaviti Facebookove usluge na Starom kontinentu.
