Nakon boravka u prirodi – a u ovoj pandemiji koronavirusa ljudi hrle na otvoreno – zatekli su nepozvanog gosta, neki u kosi ili na odjeći, neki na zatiljku ili negdje drugdje na koži, pa valja znati kako se boriti protiv ove sitne beštije koja pije krv. Vlasnici pasa jako dobro znaju kako izgleda krpelj jer ga psi često 'pokupe' nakon njuškanja u travi.
Krpelji su sitne životinjice iz skupine člankonožaca. Pripadaju paučnjacima, a mogu prenijeti razne zarazne bolesti, uključujući i one koje su zajedničke ljudima i životinjama. U Hrvatskoj je najrasprostranjeniji šumski krpelj (Ixodes ricinus).
Skriveni na vlatima trave, granama i listovima grmlja i drveća, krpelji čekaju prolazak pogodnog domaćina – toplokrvne životinje ili čovjeka. Građom svojih nogu prilagođeni su prihvaćanju za krzno životinja ili na dlačice odjeće ljudi. Nakon što se prihvati na domaćina, krpelj hoda više sati po tijelu u potrazi za mjestom gdje će se učvrstiti svojim rilom. Probadanje kože traje desetak minuta i ne osjeća se zbog tvari u slini koje, među ostalim, imaju djelovanje poput anestetika, pojašnjavaju na stranici Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo dr. U Hrvatskoj se ubodom krpelja mogu prenijeti Lyme borelioza i krpeljni meningoencefalitis (KME), a iznimno tularemija, Q groznica, erlihioza, babezioza i neke rikecioze. Krpelji zaražene virusom krpeljnog meningoencefalitisa najčešći su u sjevernom i sjeverozapadnom području Hrvatske.
Suprotno uvriježenim vjerovanjem u narodu, koji ga najčešće odstranjuju nanošenjem ulja, benzine ili rakije, evo što savjetuju na stranici Nastavnog zavoda:
'Odmah izvaditi krpelja pomoću pincete za čupanje dlačica. Krpelja treba pincetom obuhvatiti uz samu kožu i laganim povlačenjem izvući, pazeći da se ne ošteti tijelo krpelja prilikom izvlačenja. Ako je potrebno, radi preciznog hvatanja, može se koristiti povećalo jer trganjem krpelja ostaje dio zarinut u kožu pa može doći do zaraze. U tom slučaju valja potražiti pomoć liječnika.
Niti u kojem slučaju krpelje se na koži ne smije "gušiti" premazivanjem alkoholom, uljem ili masti, „paliti“ šibicom jer time izazivamo naglu smrt krpelja, pri čemu on isprazni sadržaj svoje trbušne šupljine u čovjeka i tako vrlo lako prenese zarazu ako je zaražen.
Krpelje nemojte dirati golim rukama. Nakon što je krpelj odstranjen, mjesto uboda preporučljivo je premazati antiseptikom. Osobu ugriženu od krpelja treba inforirati i educirati o znakovima i simptomima lokalne i sistemske infekcije.

Nakon boravka u prirodi – a u ovoj pandemiji koronavirusa ljudi hrle na otvoreno – zatekli su nepozvanog gosta, neki u kosi ili na odjeći, neki na zatiljku ili negdje drugdje na koži, pa valja znati kako se boriti protiv ove sitne beštije koja pije krv. Vlasnici pasa jako dobro znaju kako izgleda krpelj jer ga psi često 'pokupe' nakon njuškanja u travi.
Krpelji su sitne životinjice iz skupine člankonožaca. Pripadaju paučnjacima, a mogu prenijeti razne zarazne bolesti, uključujući i one koje su zajedničke ljudima i životinjama. U Hrvatskoj je najrasprostranjeniji šumski krpelj (Ixodes ricinus).
Skriveni na vlatima trave, granama i listovima grmlja i drveća, krpelji čekaju prolazak pogodnog domaćina – toplokrvne životinje ili čovjeka. Građom svojih nogu prilagođeni su prihvaćanju za krzno životinja ili na dlačice odjeće ljudi. Nakon što se prihvati na domaćina, krpelj hoda više sati po tijelu u potrazi za mjestom gdje će se učvrstiti svojim rilom. Probadanje kože traje desetak minuta i ne osjeća se zbog tvari u slini koje, među ostalim, imaju djelovanje poput anestetika, pojašnjavaju na stranici Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo dr. Andrija Štampar.
U Hrvatskoj se ubodom krpelja mogu prenijeti Lyme borelioza i krpeljni meningoencefalitis (KME), a iznimno tularemija, Q groznica, erlihioza, babezioza i neke rikecioze. Krpelji zaražene virusom krpeljnog meningoencefalitisa najčešći su u sjevernom i sjeverozapadnom području Hrvatske.
Suprotno uvriježenim vjerovanjem u narodu, koji ga najčešće odstranjuju nanošenjem ulja, benzine ili rakije, evo što savjetuju na stranici Nastavnog zavoda:
'Odmah izvaditi krpelja pomoću pincete za čupanje dlačica. Krpelja treba pincetom obuhvatiti uz samu kožu i laganim povlačenjem izvući, pazeći da se ne ošteti tijelo krpelja prilikom izvlačenja. Ako je potrebno, radi preciznog hvatanja, može se koristiti povećalo jer trganjem krpelja ostaje dio zarinut u kožu pa može doći do zaraze. U tom slučaju valja potražiti pomoć liječnika.
Niti u kojem slučaju krpelje se na koži ne smije "gušiti" premazivanjem alkoholom, uljem ili masti, „paliti“ šibicom jer time izazivamo naglu smrt krpelja, pri čemu on isprazni sadržaj svoje trbušne šupljine u čovjeka i tako vrlo lako prenese zarazu ako je zaražen.
Krpelje nemojte dirati golim rukama. Nakon što je krpelj odstranjen, mjesto uboda preporučljivo je premazati antiseptikom. Osobu ugriženu od krpelja treba inforirati i educirati o znakovima i simptomima lokalne i sistemske infekcije.

Lakić. - Ako nađete krpelja na svojoj koži, treba ga pažljivo odstraniti posebnom pincetom, zajedno s rilcem, a najbolje se javiti doktoru. Dr. Lakić umiruje, krpelji u nas nisu opasni, ali pripazite kako ih odstranjujete!

Čitatelji upozoravaju da su se u zadnje vrijeme susreli s krpeljima na vlastitoj koži. Nakon boravka u prirodi – a u ovoj pandemiji koronavirusa ljudi hrle na otvoreno – zatekli su nepozvanog gosta, neki u kosi ili na odjeći, neki na zatiljku ili negdje drugdje na koži, pa valja znati kako se boriti protiv ove sitne beštije koja pije krv. Vlasnici pasa jako dobro znaju kako izgleda krpelj jer ga psi često 'pokupe' nakon njuškanja u travi.
Krpelji su sitne životinjice iz skupine člankonožaca. Pripadaju paučnjacima, a mogu prenijeti razne zarazne bolesti, uključujući i one koje su zajedničke ljudima i životinjama. U Hrvatskoj je najrasprostranjeniji šumski krpelj (Ixodes ricinus).
Skriveni na vlatima trave, granama i listovima grmlja i drveća, krpelji čekaju prolazak pogodnog domaćina – toplokrvne životinje ili čovjeka. Građom svojih nogu prilagođeni su prihvaćanju za krzno životinja ili na dlačice odjeće ljudi. Nakon što se prihvati na domaćina, krpelj hoda više sati po tijelu u potrazi za mjestom gdje će se učvrstiti svojim rilom. Probadanje kože traje desetak minuta i ne osjeća se zbog tvari u slini koje, među ostalim, imaju djelovanje poput anestetika, pojašnjavaju na stranici Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo dr. Andrija Štampar.
U Hrvatskoj se ubodom krpelja mogu prenijeti Lyme borelioza i krpeljni meningoencefalitis (KME), a iznimno tularemija, Q groznica, erlihioza, babezioza i neke rikecioze. Krpelji zaražene virusom krpeljnog meningoencefalitisa najčešći su u sjevernom i sjeverozapadnom području Hrvatske.
Suprotno uvriježenim vjerovanjem u narodu, koji ga najčešće odstranjuju nanošenjem ulja, benzine ili rakije, evo što savjetuju na stranici Nastavnog zavoda:
'Odmah izvaditi krpelja pomoću pincete za čupanje dlačica. Krpelja treba pincetom obuhvatiti uz samu kožu i laganim povlačenjem izvući, pazeći da se ne ošteti tijelo krpelja prilikom izvlačenja. Ako je potrebno, radi preciznog hvatanja, može se koristiti povećalo jer trganjem krpelja ostaje dio zarinut u kožu pa može doći do zaraze. U tom slučaju valja potražiti pomoć liječnika.
Niti u kojem slučaju krpelje se na koži ne smije "gušiti" premazivanjem alkoholom, uljem ili masti, „paliti“ šibicom jer time izazivamo naglu smrt krpelja, pri čemu on isprazni sadržaj svoje trbušne šupljine u čovjeka i tako vrlo lako prenese zarazu ako je zaražen.
Krpelje nemojte dirati golim rukama. Nakon što je krpelj odstranjen, mjesto uboda preporučljivo je premazati antiseptikom. Osobu ugriženu od krpelja treba inforirati i educirati o znakovima i simptomima lokalne i sistemske infekcije.

- Dvije najvažnije i opasne bolesti koje krpelji izazivaju su meningoencefalitis i lajmska bolest, ali se ne javljaju na našem području - umiruje dr. Lakić. - Ako nađete krpelja na svojoj koži, treba ga pažljivo odstraniti posebnom pincetom, zajedno s rilcem, a najbolje se javiti doktoru. Srećom, kod nas krpelji ne prenose teške bolesti - naglasio je.
