Bivši šef CIA-e David Petraeus dao je intervju za Radio Slobodna Europa u kojemu je govorio o glavnim slabostima ruske vojske u Ukrajini.

"Rusi su potpuno podcijenili ukrajinske snage i precijenili svoje. Nisu uspjeli nametnuti svoju ideju vođenja rata i pripremiti snage za izvođenje tog pohoda. Osim toga, nisu imali ni moderne telekomunikacijske sisteme", kazao je general Petraeus, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Petraeus, koji je svojedobno bio i zapovjednik koalicijskih snaga u Iraku, rekao je da Rusi prije invazije svakako nisu dovoljno kvalitetno obučili svoje trupe.

"Nisu kvalitetno obučavali svoje trupe. Uvijek smo znali da im nedostaju profesionalni dočasnici koji su okosnica svih oružanih snaga u NATO savezu i na Zapadu. Bilo je puno grešaka koje su i sami tijekom rata otkrili, a neke su od njih očekivane, a druge baš i nisu ", dodao je Petraeus.

Umirovljeni general otkrio je još jedan ‘bug‘ u ruskoj vojsci: primijetio je da su ruski telekomunikacijski sistemi "jednokanalni" tj. nešifrirani, što Ukrajincima i njihovim saveznicima olakšava praćenje njihovih razgovora.

"Oni su također i visoke frekvencije, svako ih može uhvatiti policijskim skenerom, za razliku od zapadnjačkog i američkog komunikacijskog sistema koji koristi frekvencijsku modulaciju. Činjenica da u ruskoj vojsci ti sistemi nisu šifrirani je zaista bizarna, s obzirom na to koliko su uložili u modernizaciju svoje vojske", zaključio je Petraeus.

U jednom od dokumenata američkih obavještajnih službi koji su procurili prošlog mjeseca, dužnosnici su ustvrdili kako je Moskva u Ukrajini pretrpjela između 189.500 i 223.000 žrtava. Početkom tjedna je američki Institut za proučavanje rata potvrdio da Rusija vjerojatno neće moći izdržati više ukrajinskih udara u isto vrijeme.

Očekuje se da će Ukrajina u sljedećem razdoblju pokrenuti protuofenzivu kako bi vratila teritorije pod ruskom okupacijom. Petraeus vjeruje da će ukrajinska protuofenziva vjerojatno osujetiti ruske napore da pojača opskrbu Krima preko jugoistočne Ukrajine.

Bivši šef CIA-e David Petraeus dao je intervju za Radio Slobodna Europa u kojemu je govorio o glavnim slabostima ruske vojske u Ukrajini.

"Rusi su potpuno podcijenili ukrajinske snage i precijenili svoje. Nisu uspjeli nametnuti svoju ideju vođenja rata i pripremiti snage za izvođenje tog pohoda. Osim toga, nisu imali ni moderne telekomunikacijske sisteme", kazao je general Petraeus, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Petraeus, koji je svojedobno bio i zapovjednik koalicijskih snaga u Iraku, rekao je da Rusi prije invazije svakako nisu dovoljno kvalitetno obučili svoje trupe.

"Nisu kvalitetno obučavali svoje trupe. Uvijek smo znali da im nedostaju profesionalni dočasnici koji su okosnica svih oružanih snaga u NATO savezu i na Zapadu. Bilo je puno grešaka koje su i sami tijekom rata otkrili, a neke su od njih očekivane, a druge baš i nisu ", dodao je Petraeus.

Umirovljeni general otkrio je još jedan ‘bug‘ u ruskoj vojsci: primijetio je da su ruski telekomunikacijski sistemi "jednokanalni" tj. nešifrirani, što Ukrajincima i njihovim saveznicima olakšava praćenje njihovih razgovora.

U jednom od dokumenata američkih obavještajnih službi koji su procurili prošlog mjeseca, dužnosnici su ustvrdili kako je Moskva u Ukrajini pretrpjela između 189.500 i 223.000 žrtava. Početkom tjedna je američki Institut za proučavanje rata potvrdio da Rusija vjerojatno neće moći izdržati više ukrajinskih udara u isto vrijeme.

Očekuje se da će Ukrajina u sljedećem razdoblju pokrenuti protuofenzivu kako bi vratila teritorije pod ruskom okupacijom. Petraeus vjeruje da će ukrajinska protuofenziva vjerojatno osujetiti ruske napore da pojača opskrbu Krima preko jugoistočne Ukrajine.

Bivši šef CIA-e David Petraeus dao je intervju za Radio Slobodna Europa u kojemu je govorio o glavnim slabostima ruske vojske u Ukrajini.

"Rusi su potpuno podcijenili ukrajinske snage i precijenili svoje. Nisu uspjeli nametnuti svoju ideju vođenja rata i pripremiti snage za izvođenje tog pohoda. Osim toga, nisu imali ni moderne telekomunikacijske sisteme", kazao je general Petraeus, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Petraeus, koji je svojedobno bio i zapovjednik koalicijskih snaga u Iraku, rekao je da Rusi prije invazije svakako nisu dovoljno kvalitetno obučili svoje trupe.

"Nisu kvalitetno obučavali svoje trupe. Uvijek smo znali da im nedostaju profesionalni dočasnici koji su okosnica svih oružanih snaga u NATO savezu i na Zapadu. Bilo je puno grešaka koje su i sami tijekom rata otkrili, a neke su od njih očekivane, a druge baš i nisu ", dodao je Petraeus.

Umirovljeni general otkrio je još jedan ‘bug‘ u ruskoj vojsci: primijetio je da su ruski telekomunikacijski sistemi "jednokanalni" tj. nešifrirani, što Ukrajincima i njihovim saveznicima olakšava praćenje njihovih razgovora.
