‘Uvijek sam želio biti heroj, ne kao James Bond, prokleti tajni agent, želio sam biti heroj ulice, bar jedan dan...’ Ne znam je li Dubravko Čikor htio biti heroj ulice, ali je to s vremenom postao. Nama mladima, kad smo se spuštali karićima niz Babin Kuk, Čikor je bio idol. Mi nismo tad znali za neke velikane svjetskog automobilizma, nama je to bio Čikor, kojeg smo imali priliku vidjeti u radionici Ivice Burđeleza – istaknuo je Andrija Jarak, Dubrovčanin, poznato TV lice, koliko puta novinar godine, na komemoraciji u Kazalištu Maria Držića opraštajući se od Dubravka Čikora, heroja ulice, velikana dubrovačkog i hrvatskog automobilizma i sporta, prijatelja.

Čikor nas je zauvijek napustio prije tri godine, 22. ožujka 2021. godine, nakon gotovo 50 godina u automobilizmu i sportu. Karijeru je počeo 1974., a zadnju trku odvozio je 2008. godine. Nakon toga je bio prvi čovjek dubrovačkog kluba do smrti. Auto klub Dubrovnik Racing je, ističu mnogi, zahvaljujući njemu danas najuspješniji hrvatski auto klub.

Tri godine su prošle. Ostala su sjećanja na nadasve divnog čovjeka...

‘Uvijek sam želio biti heroj, ne kao James Bond, prokleti tajni agent, želio sam biti heroj ulice, bar jedan dan...’ Ne znam je li Dubravko Čikor htio biti heroj ulice, ali je to s vremenom postao. Nama mladima, kad smo se spuštali karićima niz Babin Kuk, Čikor je bio idol. Mi nismo tad znali za neke velikane svjetskog automobilizma, nama je to bio Čikor, kojeg smo imali priliku vidjeti u radionici Ivice Burđeleza – istaknuo je Andrija Jarak, Dubrovčanin, poznato TV lice, koliko puta novinar godine, na komemoraciji u Kazalištu Maria Držića opraštajući se od Dubravka Čikora, heroja ulice, velikana dubrovačkog i hrvatskog automobilizma i sporta, prijatelja.

Čikor nas je zauvijek napustio prije tri godine, 22. ožujka 2021. godine, nakon gotovo 50 godina u automobilizmu i sportu. Karijeru je počeo 1974., a zadnju trku odvozio je 2008. godine. Nakon toga je bio prvi čovjek dubrovačkog kluba do smrti. Auto klub Dubrovnik Racing je, ističu mnogi, zahvaljujući njemu danas najuspješniji hrvatski auto klub.

Tri godine su prošle. Ostala su sjećanja na nadasve divnog čovjeka...
