Novo istraživanje rasvijetlilo je "pogubni učinak" prisilnog odvajanja osobe od kućnog ljubimca, što je situacija koja može donijeti povećani rizik za sigurnost i psihičku štetu za ljude i životinje.

"Naši rezultati otkrivaju da snažna emocionalna veza između čovjeka i životinje može rezultirati ranjivošću za oboje u okolnostima u kojima je ta veza ugrožena", rekla je Jasmine Montgomery sa Sveučilišta James Cook u Australiji.

"Kada su ljudi prisiljeni razdvojiti se u kontekstu krizne situacije, kao što je prirodna katastrofa, beskućništvo ili obiteljsko nasilje, to može rezultirati psihološkim problemom i rizikom za njihovo zdravlje, a dobrobit i sigurnost su stvarno ugroženi", utvrdio je znanstveni tim.

Utjecaj je obostrani, objasnio je tim, pa su i kućni ljubimci teško pogođeni kada žive u domovima s obiteljskim nasiljem čiji je česti ishod zlostavljanje ili smrt.

Takvo razdvajanje zbog nedostatka smještaja za kućne ljubimce, kao i stava da je dobrobit ljudi iznad dobrobiti životinja u nekoj hitnoj situaciji često se može izbjeći.

Znanstvenici su rekli da će ljudi s jakom emocionalnom vezom s kućnim ljubimcem vjerojatnije ostati u opasnim situacijama, na primjer ako se ne mogu evakuirati zajedno tijekom prirodne katastrofe ili ako strahuju da bi bijeg od nasilne veze rezultirao razdvajanjem od ljubimca ili njegovim ozljeđivanjem.

Istraživanje je obuhvatilo podatke prikupljene tijekom 27 godina u brojnim istraživanjima i člancima i objavljeno je u Anthrozoosu, časopisu koji se bavi interakcijama ljudi i životinja.

Novo istraživanje rasvijetlilo je "pogubni učinak" prisilnog odvajanja osobe od kućnog ljubimca, što je situacija koja može donijeti povećani rizik za sigurnost i psihičku štetu za ljude i životinje.

"Naši rezultati otkrivaju da snažna emocionalna veza između čovjeka i životinje može rezultirati ranjivošću za oboje u okolnostima u kojima je ta veza ugrožena", rekla je Jasmine Montgomery sa Sveučilišta James Cook u Australiji.

"Kada su ljudi prisiljeni razdvojiti se u kontekstu krizne situacije, kao što je prirodna katastrofa, beskućništvo ili obiteljsko nasilje, to može rezultirati psihološkim problemom i rizikom za njihovo zdravlje, a dobrobit i sigurnost su stvarno ugroženi", utvrdio je znanstveni tim.

Utjecaj je obostrani, objasnio je tim, pa su i kućni ljubimci teško pogođeni kada žive u domovima s obiteljskim nasiljem čiji je česti ishod zlostavljanje ili smrt.

Takvo razdvajanje zbog nedostatka smještaja za kućne ljubimce, kao i stava da je dobrobit ljudi iznad dobrobiti životinja u nekoj hitnoj situaciji često se može izbjeći.

Znanstvenici su rekli da će ljudi s jakom emocionalnom vezom s kućnim ljubimcem vjerojatnije ostati u opasnim situacijama, na primjer ako se ne mogu evakuirati zajedno tijekom prirodne katastrofe ili ako strahuju da bi bijeg od nasilne veze rezultirao razdvajanjem od ljubimca ili njegovim ozljeđivanjem.

Istraživanje je obuhvatilo podatke prikupljene tijekom 27 godina u brojnim istraživanjima i člancima i objavljeno je u Anthrozoosu, časopisu koji se bavi interakcijama ljudi i životinja.

U dobru i u zlu: ljubav prema kućnim ljubimcima je tolika da će vlasnici i glavu izgubiti ali ih neće ostaviti

Novo istraživanje rasvijetlilo je "pogubni učinak" prisilnog odvajanja osobe od kućnog ljubimca, što je situacija koja može donijeti povećani rizik za sigurnost i psihičku štetu za ljude i životinje.

"Naši rezultati otkrivaju da snažna emocionalna veza između čovjeka i životinje može rezultirati ranjivošću za oboje u okolnostima u kojima je ta veza ugrožena", rekla je Jasmine Montgomery sa Sveučilišta James Cook u Australiji.

"Kada su ljudi prisiljeni razdvojiti se u kontekstu krizne situacije, kao što je prirodna katastrofa, beskućništvo ili obiteljsko nasilje, to može rezultirati psihološkim problemom i rizikom za njihovo zdravlje, a dobrobit i sigurnost su stvarno ugroženi", utvrdio je znanstveni tim.

Utjecaj je obostrani, objasnio je tim, pa su i kućni ljubimci teško pogođeni kada žive u domovima s obiteljskim nasiljem čiji je česti ishod zlostavljanje ili smrt.

Takvo razdvajanje zbog nedostatka smještaja za kućne ljubimce, kao i stava da je dobrobit ljudi iznad dobrobiti životinja u nekoj hitnoj situaciji često se može izbjeći.

Znanstvenici su rekli da će ljudi s jakom emocionalnom vezom s kućnim ljubimcem vjerojatnije ostati u opasnim situacijama, na primjer ako se ne mogu evakuirati zajedno tijekom prirodne katastrofe ili ako strahuju da bi bijeg od nasilne veze rezultirao razdvajanjem od ljubimca ili njegovim ozljeđivanjem.

Istraživanje je obuhvatilo podatke prikupljene tijekom 27 godina u brojnim istraživanjima i člancima i objavljeno je u Anthrozoosu, časopisu koji se bavi interakcijama ljudi i životinja.
