Kada je već u pitanju opće podsjećanje na značenje mosta za identitet Zadra, red je podsjetiti se i na pok. Antu Perkovića (1973. – 2017.) i njegovo nadahnuto mišljenje o mostu u knjizi "Volite li Zadar“: 

"Projektiran tako da se otvara, iz nekog je razloga ostao zakopčan i nepokretljiv, smjeran i skroman u svojoj osnovnoj zadaći: prebaciti pješaka na drugu stranu. Možda baš zato nikad nije postao promenada ni sastajalište. Bezimeni most preko bezimene uvale (jer je uvala Jazine pleonazam, iliti uvala Uvala), javna je površina preko koje inače mediteranski usporeni Zadrani, uvijek spremni za malu usputnu ćakulu, najbrže prelaze. Ide se u grad ili iz grada, bez puno zastajkivanja. Most je za mimoilaženje, ne za susrete. 

Za turiste takvo pravilo ne vrijedi. Njima je, tko zna zašto, osobito zadovoljstvo stati posred mosta, poredati se uz ogradu i odraditi photo-session ometajući domorodački pješački promet baš na jednom mjestu gdje je stvarno užurban. U gradu s toliko sjajnih fotografskih pozadina oni biraju ono između – između dvije obale, između mora i kamena, između kamena i neba. Zapravo se slikaju ispred grada..."

Kada je već u pitanju opće podsjećanje na značenje mosta za identitet Zadra, red je podsjetiti se i na pok. Antu Perkovića (1973. – 2017.) i njegovo nadahnuto mišljenje o mostu u knjizi "Volite li Zadar“: 

"Projektiran tako da se otvara, iz nekog je razloga ostao zakopčan i nepokretljiv, smjeran i skroman u svojoj osnovnoj zadaći: prebaciti pješaka na drugu stranu. Možda baš zato nikad nije postao promenada ni sastajalište. Bezimeni most preko bezimene uvale (jer je uvala Jazine pleonazam, iliti uvala Uvala), javna je površina preko koje inače mediteranski usporeni Zadrani, uvijek spremni za malu usputnu ćakulu, najbrže prelaze. Ide se u grad ili iz grada, bez puno zastajkivanja. Most je za mimoilaženje, ne za susrete. 

Za turiste takvo pravilo ne vrijedi. Njima je, tko zna zašto, osobito zadovoljstvo stati posred mosta, poredati se uz ogradu i odraditi photo-session ometajući domorodački pješački promet baš na jednom mjestu gdje je stvarno užurban. U gradu s toliko sjajnih fotografskih pozadina oni biraju ono između – između dvije obale, između mora i kamena, između kamena i neba. Zapravo se slikaju ispred grada..."
