Turistički brod koji je u sitnim noćnim satima udario u Zapadnu obalu, a onda i potonuo, još uvijek stoji na istom mjestu.
Lučki kapetan Željko Kuštera, na mjestu događaja dao je izjavu novinarima.
- Pomorska nezgoda dogodila se jutros u 2 sata i jednu minutu, a dojavu od policije smo dobili u 2 sata i 37 minuta. Kad smo vidjeli što se dogodilo angažirali smo brod za onečišćenja "Sveti Florijan" tako da je potonuli brod već bio ograđen oko četiri sata, a poslije smo angažirali i našu tvrtku Cian koja je postavila brane.

Sada očekujemo da unutar brane dođe i cisternama koja će pokupiti onečišćenje jer nema smisla to odrađivati ručno. Dali smo nalog vlasniku broda da organizira vađenje broda.

Trebaju prvo doći ovlašteni ronioci iz Hrvatskog registra brodova i vidjeti stanje broda. Da bi se brod izvadio treba se prvo utvrditi kakvo je onečišćenje, a potom će Hrvatski registar brodova utvrditi može li se brod tegliti i što će dalje biti - pojasnio je Kuštera.
Na pitanje zna li se nešto više o samim uzrocima nesreće, uključujući i policijsko izvješće prema kojem je kapetan bio alkoholiziran, Kuštera je rekao:
- To ćete morati pitati policiju - kratko je odgovorio.
Na pitanje što je Lučka kapetanija svojom istragom utvrdila Kuštera je kazao kako se istraga upravo sada provodi.
- Uskoro bi trebala doći i Agencija za utvrđivanje pomorskih nezgoda. Mi kao Kapetanija dajemo logistiku, oni slažu sve kockice mozaika. Sada je prerano govoriti o uzrocima,vidite da je ovo područje pokriveno videokamerama, one su izuzete.
Sada je najvažnije da ne dolazi do onečišćenja i da se brod makne odavde jer je ovo benzinska postaja koja nam znači za turizam i sve nautičare i brodare - izjavio je.

Potvrdio je također da je u splitskoj gradskoj luci svojevrsna "gužva u šesnaestercu" kad je pomorski promet u pitanju. Otkrio je podatak da se u tom akvatoriju dogodi dnevno 800 uplovljenja i isplovljenja.

Na pitanje je li ovim nanesena šteta Ini s obzirom na promet, rekao je da se ne bavi ekonomskim predviđanjima već pitanjem sigurnosti.
Za putnike je rekao da su svi dobro te da je brod registriran za 73 osobe, te da se još utvrđuje njihov točan broj.
Plovilo je iz razloga koji se tek utvrđuju udarilo u Ininu benzinsku postaju pramcem, nakon čega je vezan, a putnici su izašli neozlijeđeni.

Turistički brod koji je u sitnim noćnim satima udario u Zapadnu obalu, a onda i potonuo, još uvijek stoji na istom mjestu.
Lučki kapetan Željko Kuštera, na mjestu događaja dao je izjavu novinarima.
- Pomorska nezgoda dogodila se jutros u 2 sata i jednu minutu, a dojavu od policije smo dobili u 2 sata i 37 minuta. Kad smo vidjeli što se dogodilo angažirali smo brod za onečišćenja "Sveti Florijan" tako da je potonuli brod već bio ograđen oko četiri sata, a poslije smo angažirali i našu tvrtku Cian koja je postavila brane.

Sada očekujemo da unutar brane dođe i cisternama koja će pokupiti onečišćenje jer nema smisla to odrađivati ručno. Dali smo nalog vlasniku broda da organizira vađenje broda.

Trebaju prvo doći ovlašteni ronioci iz Hrvatskog registra brodova i vidjeti stanje broda. Da bi se brod izvadio treba se prvo utvrditi kakvo je onečišćenje, a potom će Hrvatski registar brodova utvrditi može li se brod tegliti i što će dalje biti - pojasnio je Kuštera.
Na pitanje zna li se nešto više o samim uzrocima nesreće, uključujući i policijsko izvješće prema kojem je kapetan bio alkoholiziran, Kuštera je rekao:
- To ćete morati pitati policiju - kratko je odgovorio.
Na pitanje što je Lučka kapetanija svojom istragom utvrdila Kuštera je kazao kako se istraga upravo sada provodi.
- Uskoro bi trebala doći i Agencija za utvrđivanje pomorskih nezgoda. Mi kao Kapetanija dajemo logistiku, oni slažu sve kockice mozaika. Sada je prerano govoriti o uzrocima,vidite da je ovo područje pokriveno videokamerama, one su izuzete.
Sada je najvažnije da ne dolazi do onečišćenja i da se brod makne odavde jer je ovo benzinska postaja koja nam znači za turizam i sve nautičare i brodare - izjavio je.

Potvrdio je također da je u splitskoj gradskoj luci svojevrsna "gužva u šesnaestercu" kad je pomorski promet u pitanju. Otkrio je podatak da se u tom akvatoriju dogodi dnevno 800 uplovljenja i isplovljenja.

Na pitanje je li ovim nanesena šteta Ini s obzirom na promet, rekao je da se ne bavi ekonomskim predviđanjima već pitanjem sigurnosti.
Za putnike je rekao da su svi dobro te da je brod registriran za 73 osobe, te da se još utvrđuje njihov točan broj.
Plovilo je iz razloga koji se tek utvrđuju udarilo u Ininu benzinsku postaju pramcem, nakon čega je vezan, a putnici su izašli neozlijeđeni.
