Sedam osoba koje su bile na trajektu koji je danima smatran nestalim na otočju Kiribatiju u središtu Tihog oceana, pronađeno je kako pluta u malom čamcu za spašavanje.
Trajekt "MV Butiraoi" s pedeset osoba nestao je prije tjedan dana, tako da je pravo čudo da su u ovom nemirnom moru nakon toliko vremena pronašli preživjele.
Vijest su objavile Obrambene snage Novog Zelanda koje su rekle da su ugledale mali čamac tijekom potrage za trajektom.
Najprije su im iz vojnog zrakoplova spustili osnovne potrepštine poput hrane i vode, te radio kojim uspostavljaju komunikaciju s njima. Preostalih 43 ljudi i dalje se smatra nestalima, javlja BBC, no preživjeli bi trebali pomoći u razjašnjavanju okolnosti o tome što se dogodilo. Prema njima se uputila ribarica koja bi ih trebala pokupiti u nedjelju popodne.
Novi Zeland je među zemljama koje pomažu u potrazi, tako da su upravo njihove snage uočile čamac.
"Posada im je spustila namirnice, vodu i radio i sad uspostavljaju komunikaciju s njima", kazao je predstavnik obrambenih snaga. "Grupa se činila jako sretna kad su shvatili da im stiže pomoć, vidjelo se olakšanje", dodao je.
U međuvremenu se nastavlja potraga za nestalim trajektom koji je prije puta izvučen na obalu radi popravka propelera na otoku Nonoutiju.
MV Butraoi krenuo je 18. siječnja s jednog od otoka Kiribatija na put dug 260 km koji je trebao prijeći u dva dana. Novozelandski čelnici koji sudjeluju u potrazi rekli su da je trajekt proglašen nestalim sutradan, 19. siječnja.

Sedam osoba koje su bile na trajektu koji je danima smatran nestalim na otočju Kiribatiju u središtu Tihog oceana, pronađeno je kako pluta u malom čamcu za spašavanje.
Trajekt "MV Butiraoi" s pedeset osoba nestao je prije tjedan dana, tako da je pravo čudo da su u ovom nemirnom moru nakon toliko vremena pronašli preživjele.
Vijest su objavile Obrambene snage Novog Zelanda koje su rekle da su ugledale mali čamac tijekom potrage za trajektom.
Najprije su im iz vojnog zrakoplova spustili osnovne potrepštine poput hrane i vode, te radio kojim uspostavljaju komunikaciju s njima. Preostalih 43 ljudi i dalje se smatra nestalima, javlja BBC, no preživjeli bi trebali pomoći u razjašnjavanju okolnosti o tome što se dogodilo. Prema njima se uputila ribarica koja bi ih trebala pokupiti u nedjelju popodne.
Novi Zeland je među zemljama koje pomažu u potrazi, tako da su upravo njihove snage uočile čamac.
"Posada im je spustila namirnice, vodu i radio i sad uspostavljaju komunikaciju s njima", kazao je predstavnik obrambenih snaga. "Grupa se činila jako sretna kad su shvatili da im stiže pomoć, vidjelo se olakšanje", dodao je.
U međuvremenu se nastavlja potraga za nestalim trajektom koji je prije puta izvučen na obalu radi popravka propelera na otoku Nonoutiju.
MV Butraoi krenuo je 18. siječnja s jednog od otoka Kiribatija na put dug 260 km koji je trebao prijeći u dva dana. Novozelandski čelnici koji sudjeluju u potrazi rekli su da je trajekt proglašen nestalim sutradan, 19. siječnja.
