Kada ga je 2013. Stephy Girst uzela iz legla kao nekoliko dana staro mače, Omar se nije razlikovao od svoje braće i sestara.
Četiri godine kasnije ovaj Maine coon mačak je dug 120 cm, a njegova vlasnica je upravo dobila poziv iz Guinnessove knjige rekorda koja ga želi potvrditi kao najdužeg mačka na svijetu.
Tu titulu trenutno drži jedna druga Maine coon mačka iz Engleske, ali ako je vjerovati vlasnici, Omar će uskoro preuzeti cijenjenu titulu.
Nakon što mu je vlasnica prije dva tjedna otvorila profil na Instagramu (jer kakva je to mačka koja danas nema Instagram) Omar je ubrzo postao slavan na internetu te već i prije 50. posta ima oko 15.000 obožavatelja.
Osim toga, posto je hit u australskim, a sada i britanskim medijima, a njegova vlasnica za BBC kaže da "se baš i ne nosi najbolje s velikom pozornošću" - na primjer, nije više toliko razigranog i vedrog karaktera.
Omarov tipični dan izgleda tako da se probudi oko 5 ujutro, prizalogaji par žlica suhe mačje hrane, potom se izležava po kući, igra se u vrtu, dremucka na trampolinu i napokon jede siroko klokanovo meso.
- Ovo je jedino meso koje smo pronašli, a da ga želi jesti - rekla je Hirst o svojem mačku koji je, usput budi rečeno, razvio veliki talenat za otvaranje kuhinjskih pretinaca i vrata od frižidera.
I dok vlasnica tvrdi da je Omar vrlo umiljata mačka, moramo priznati dan nama ipak izgleda malo zastrašujuće, kao njegov poznatiji imenjak iz kultne serije s ulica Baltimorea.

Kada ga je 2013. Stephy Girst uzela iz legla kao nekoliko dana staro mače, Omar se nije razlikovao od svoje braće i sestara.
Četiri godine kasnije ovaj Maine coon mačak je dug 120 cm, a njegova vlasnica je upravo dobila poziv iz Guinnessove knjige rekorda koja ga želi potvrditi kao najdužeg mačka na svijetu.
Tu titulu trenutno drži jedna druga Maine coon mačka iz Engleske, ali ako je vjerovati vlasnici, Omar će uskoro preuzeti cijenjenu titulu.
Nakon što mu je vlasnica prije dva tjedna otvorila profil na Instagramu (jer kakva je to mačka koja danas nema Instagram) Omar je ubrzo postao slavan na internetu te već i prije 50. posta ima oko 15.000 obožavatelja.
Osim toga, posto je hit u australskim, a sada i britanskim medijima, a njegova vlasnica za BBC kaže da "se baš i ne nosi najbolje s velikom pozornošću" - na primjer, nije više toliko razigranog i vedrog karaktera.
Omarov tipični dan izgleda tako da se probudi oko 5 ujutro, prizalogaji par žlica suhe mačje hrane, potom se izležava po kući, igra se u vrtu, dremucka na trampolinu i napokon jede siroko klokanovo meso.
- Ovo je jedino meso koje smo pronašli, a da ga želi jesti - rekla je Hirst o svojem mačku koji je, usput budi rečeno, razvio veliki talenat za otvaranje kuhinjskih pretinaca i vrata od frižidera.
I dok vlasnica tvrdi da je Omar vrlo umiljata mačka, moramo priznati dan nama ipak izgleda malo zastrašujuće, kao njegov poznatiji imenjak iz kultne serije s ulica Baltimorea.
