Nešto novo i drugačije. Geopolitičko prenatalni skandal koji trese Europu. Genetska krađa embrija.

Evo o čemu se radi. Već desetak godina svugdje na svijetu, pa tako i u Hrvatskoj, postoji test kojim se u ranoj fazi trudnoće detektira Downov sindrom ili drugi poremećaji kod fetusa. Nije jeftin, košta oko 4000 kuna, izvještava RTL.hr.

Funkcionira tako da ginekolog uzme dio stanica iz fetusa, one se pošalju poštom na analizu i nakon dva tjedna obično stižu rezultati natrag. E sad, ključno je gdje se stanice šalju na analizu. U Kinu.

Test se zove NIFTY i osmislio ga je kineski farmaceutski gigant BGI, a novinari Reutersa objavili su velik istraživački tekst o tome kako je NIFTY nastao u suradnji s kineskom vojskom. I da ga Kina koristi kako bi prikupila milijune DNK podataka trudnica.

Što će Kinezima geni naših fetusa, pitate se. E pa to još ne znamo. Nagađa se da bi tako uz golemu bazu gena mogli u doglednoj budućnosti imati znanstvenu prednost pred drugima.

Kinezi optužbe žestoko opovrgavaju, a Slovenija, Njemačka, Estonija, Kanada i Australija pokrenule su službenu istragu oko cijelog slučaja. Iz tvrtke koja je distributer testa u Hrvatskoj kažu da su geni Hrvatica na sigurnom.

Iz HALMED-a su za RTL Direkt kazali da zasad ništa ne upućuje na problem.

"Do sada ni kroz nacionalni sustav nismo dobili nikakvu obavijest koji bi upućivalo na ovakav problem", kaže ginekologinja Jadranka Belan-Žuklić.

"Vrlo sofisticiranim metodama analizira se krv trudnice i na temelju tih analiza procjenjuje se rizik da li postoje kod ploda nekakve kromosomske greške. Većina privatnih poliklinika radi te testove, interes je trudnica veliki. A zašto mi jako cijenimo taj test i jako smo sretni što ga imamo? Jer je takvo što prije 10 godina zvučalo kao znanstvena fantastika", kaže glasnogovornica Hrvatske agencije za lijekove Ivana Šipić Gavrilović.

Evo o čemu se radi. Već desetak godina svugdje na svijetu, pa tako i u Hrvatskoj, postoji test kojim se u ranoj fazi trudnoće detektira Downov sindrom ili drugi poremećaji kod fetusa. Nije jeftin, košta oko 4000 kuna, izvještava RTL.hr.

Funkcionira tako da ginekolog uzme dio stanica iz fetusa, one se pošalju poštom na analizu i nakon dva tjedna obično stižu rezultati natrag. E sad, ključno je gdje se stanice šalju na analizu. U Kinu.

Test se zove NIFTY i osmislio ga je kineski farmaceutski gigant BGI, a novinari Reutersa objavili su velik istraživački tekst o tome kako je NIFTY nastao u suradnji s kineskom vojskom. I da ga Kina koristi kako bi prikupila milijune DNK podataka trudnica.

Što će Kinezima geni naših fetusa, pitate se. E pa to još ne znamo. Nagađa se da bi tako uz golemu bazu gena mogli u doglednoj budućnosti imati znanstvenu prednost pred drugima.

Kinezi optužbe žestoko opovrgavaju, a Slovenija, Njemačka, Estonija, Kanada i Australija pokrenule su službenu istragu oko cijelog slučaja. Iz tvrtke koja je distributer testa u Hrvatskoj kažu da su geni Hrvatica na sigurnom.

Iz HALMED-a su za RTL Direkt kazali da zasad ništa ne upućuje na problem.

"Do sada ni kroz nacionalni sustav nismo dobili nikakvu obavijest koji bi upućivalo na ovakav problem", kaže ginekologinja Jadranka Belan-Žuklić.

"Vrlo sofisticiranim metodama analizira se krv trudnice i na temelju tih analiza procjenjuje se rizik da li postoje kod ploda nekakve kromosomske greške. Većina privatnih poliklinika radi te testove, interes je trudnica veliki. A zašto mi jako cijenimo taj test i jako smo sretni što ga imamo? Jer je takvo što prije 10 godina zvučalo kao znanstvena fantastika", kaže glasnogovornica Hrvatske agencije za lijekove Ivana Šipić Gavrilović.
