Druga obljetnica prvog lockdowna na svijetu kojim je ograničeno kretanje za 11 milijuna stanovnika Wuhana prošla je poprilično neopaženo. Kineski državni mediji su 22. siječnja 2020. najavili su da će za samo nekoliko sati zbog do tada nepoznatog virusa koji je uzrokovao smrt 17 ljudi privremeno biti prekinut promet autobusima, podzemnom željeznicom i trajektima, dok će sav međugradski promet (cestovni, željeznički, zračni) biti zaustavljen do daljnjeg, piše Jutarnji list.

Danas je u Kini u lockdownu nešto više od 20 milijuna ljudi, virus još nije zaustavljen, a na planetarnoj razini zabilježeno je tijekom pandemije 352 milijuna slučajeva i 5,6 milijuna smrti. Gdje je pandemija danas?

U pojedinim zemljama, poput Britanije, u kojima je zaraznija, ali opasnija omikron varijanta SARS-CoV-2 virusa nešto ranije krenula sa strelovitim širenjem, već se primijetio trend pada broja slučajeva bez prethodnog drastičnog povećanja broja smrti kao u ranijim valovima pandemije. To je britansku vladu ponukalo da najavi ukidanje svih bitnih epidemioloških mjera, osim samoizolacije u slučaju pozitivnog testa.

U Sjedinjenim Državama inače vrlo oprezni savjetnik predsjednika, dr. Anthony S. Fauci, izjavio je za ABC kako se čini da i kod njih pandemija ide dobrim smjerom. On očekuje u tjedan do mjesec dana pad broja slučajeva ispod razine koja se može smatrati da je zaraza pod kontrolom, što ne znači da će virus nestati, nego da broj infekcija neće predstavljati značajnu disrupciju za društvo.

No, Fauci isto tako upozorava kako treba ostati oprezan jer nije poznato je li moguća nova mutacija virusa odnosno pojava soja koji će biti jako zarazan (kao omikron) ali i opasniji. U Sjedinjenim Državama pad broja slučajeva izražen je na sjeveroistoku i srednjem zapadu, dok u pojedinim južnim i zapadnim državama brojevi još idu prema gore.

Omikron val različit je u odnosu na ostale i po tome što se pokazalo kako virus probija zaštitu koju su ljudi dobili cijepljenjem, pa čak i kod onih koji su primili booster dozu.

Kao što je sama pandemija uzela ogromni danak u ljudskim životima, tako je i lockdown politika ciljana kontroli pandemije imala niz teških posljedica. Visoku cijenu lockdowna platili su mnogi drugi bolesnici zbog izostanka pregleda, terapija i zahvata, a nacionalne ekonomije pretrpjele su ogromnu štetu. Zatvaranje društva nagomilalo je i niz problema vezanih uz promjenu načina života.

U više zemalja počinje se govoriti i o epidemiji pretilosti, što je posebno zabrinjavajuće kod djece i mladih. Kombinacija pandemije i lockdowna kao odgovora na pandemiju proizvela je vrlo snažne psihološke pritiske na široke slojeve stanovništva, što je problem koji se i dalje podcjenjuje, posebno u zemljama s rigoroznijim epidemiološkim politikama.

Tek u zadnje vrijeme počinju se organizirati kolektivne terapije za probleme s kojima su bile suočeni stotine milijuna ljudi. Tako je, primjerice, The New York Times, izvijestio o organiziranom kolektivnom vrištanju grupe od 20-ak majki koje su dvije godine u zatvorenom krugu rada od kuće uz skrb za djecu. To vrištanje trajalo je 20-ak minuta, a organizirano je na lokalnom igralištu u Bostonu, piše Jutarnji list.

Druga obljetnica prvog lockdowna na svijetu kojim je ograničeno kretanje za 11 milijuna stanovnika Wuhana prošla je poprilično neopaženo. Kineski državni mediji su 22. siječnja 2020. najavili su da će za samo nekoliko sati zbog do tada nepoznatog virusa koji je uzrokovao smrt 17 ljudi privremeno biti prekinut promet autobusima, podzemnom željeznicom i trajektima, dok će sav međugradski promet (cestovni, željeznički, zračni) biti zaustavljen do daljnjeg, piše Jutarnji list.

Danas je u Kini u lockdownu nešto više od 20 milijuna ljudi, virus još nije zaustavljen, a na planetarnoj razini zabilježeno je tijekom pandemije 352 milijuna slučajeva i 5,6 milijuna smrti. Gdje je pandemija danas?

U pojedinim zemljama, poput Britanije, u kojima je zaraznija, ali opasnija omikron varijanta SARS-CoV-2 virusa nešto ranije krenula sa strelovitim širenjem, već se primijetio trend pada broja slučajeva bez prethodnog drastičnog povećanja broja smrti kao u ranijim valovima pandemije. To je britansku vladu ponukalo da najavi ukidanje svih bitnih epidemioloških mjera, osim samoizolacije u slučaju pozitivnog testa.

U Sjedinjenim Državama inače vrlo oprezni savjetnik predsjednika, dr. Anthony S. Fauci, izjavio je za ABC kako se čini da i kod njih pandemija ide dobrim smjerom. On očekuje u tjedan do mjesec dana pad broja slučajeva ispod razine koja se može smatrati da je zaraza pod kontrolom, što ne znači da će virus nestati, nego da broj infekcija neće predstavljati značajnu disrupciju za društvo.

No, Fauci isto tako upozorava kako treba ostati oprezan jer nije poznato je li moguća nova mutacija virusa odnosno pojava soja koji će biti jako zarazan (kao omikron) ali i opasniji. U Sjedinjenim Državama pad broja slučajeva izražen je na sjeveroistoku i srednjem zapadu, dok u pojedinim južnim i zapadnim državama brojevi još idu prema gore.

Omikron val različit je u odnosu na ostale i po tome što se pokazalo kako virus probija zaštitu koju su ljudi dobili cijepljenjem, pa čak i kod onih koji su primili booster dozu.

Kao što je sama pandemija uzela ogromni danak u ljudskim životima, tako je i lockdown politika ciljana kontroli pandemije imala niz teških posljedica. Visoku cijenu lockdowna platili su mnogi drugi bolesnici zbog izostanka pregleda, terapija i zahvata, a nacionalne ekonomije pretrpjele su ogromnu štetu. Zatvaranje društva nagomilalo je i niz problema vezanih uz promjenu načina života.

U više zemalja počinje se govoriti i o epidemiji pretilosti, što je posebno zabrinjavajuće kod djece i mladih. Kombinacija pandemije i lockdowna kao odgovora na pandemiju proizvela je vrlo snažne psihološke pritiske na široke slojeve stanovništva, što je problem koji se i dalje podcjenjuje, posebno u zemljama s rigoroznijim epidemiološkim politikama.

Tek u zadnje vrijeme počinju se organizirati kolektivne terapije za probleme s kojima su bile suočeni stotine milijuna ljudi. Tako je, primjerice, The New York Times, izvijestio o organiziranom kolektivnom vrištanju grupe od 20-ak majki koje su dvije godine u zatvorenom krugu rada od kuće uz skrb za djecu. To vrištanje trajalo je 20-ak minuta, a organizirano je na lokalnom igralištu u Bostonu, piše Jutarnji list.
