Ipak, prouzročeni valovi nisu predstavljali veću opasnost, pa je uzbuna od tsunamija opozvana.

Međutim, opasnost od radioaktivnosti je opet visoka jer je radijacija iz turbine reaktora 'procurila' s vodom iz 'bazena' za hlađenje, javlja AFP.

Zbog toga postoji opasnost od dodatnog zagađenja okoliša, posebno jer voda lako prodire u zemlju, odnosno podvodne vode.

- Moramo provjeriti je li radioaktivna voda doprla do mora i ako nije kako je spriječiti - rekao je jedan od inžinjera koji radi na održavanju nuklearne elektrane Fukushima.

Stanovništvo je upozoreno da bude u stanju pripravnosti i spremnosti za evakuaciju zbog mogućih novih potresa, kao posljedica prvoga, koji bi mogli pokrenuti tsunami.

- Moramo provjeriti je li radioaktivna voda doprla do mora i ako nije kako je spriječiti - rekao je jedan od inžinjera koji radi na održavanju nuklearne elektrane Fukushima.

Stanovništvo je upozoreno da bude u stanju pripravnosti i spremnosti za evakuaciju zbog mogućih novih potresa, kao posljedica prvoga, koji bi mogli pokrenuti tsunami.

Japanske vlasti oglasile su uzbunu za opsanost od tsunamija nakon što je u ponedjeljak ujutro potres jačine 6,5 po Richteru pogodio sjeveroistok zemlje, područje zvano Miyagi.
