U srijedu je u Beogradu, u 86. godini života, umro Simo Dubajić, bivši partizanski major protiv kojega je u ožujku hrvatsko Državno odvjetništvo pokrenulo istragu i raspisalo međunarodnu tjeralicu.

Naime, Simu Dubajića se teretilo za izdavanje zapovijedi kojom je na Kočevskom rogu u Sloveniji ubijeno najmanje 13.000 ratnih zarobljenika između 26. svibnja i 15. lipnja 1945. godine.

Dubajić je u intervjuu za srbijanski tjednik “Svet” još 1990. priznao sudjelovanje u likvidacijama 30.000 ratnih zarobljenika. U svojoj autobiografskoj knjizi “Život, greh i kajanje - od Kistanja do Kočevskog roga”, ovaj rođeni Kistanjanin javno se pokajao za zlodjela koja je počinio služeći jednoj ideologiji.

Zatvoren dosje

Njegovi dobri poznavatelji tvrde da zbog bolesti već više od godinu dana prije smrti nije izlazio iz stana u Beogradu, a prije toga je svaki dan odlazio na molitvu u tamošnju crkvu sv. Marka.

Simo Dubajić će u ponedjeljak biti pokopan na beogradskom groblju, a izvori “Slobodne” kažu kako je dio obitelji bio za to da se njegovi posmrtni ostaci dovezu u rodno Kistanje i da ga se tu pokopa.

Međutim, nisu svi bili složni, a i administrativna procedura je, kažu, bila preprekom. Dubajić je do svoje smrti živio u trećem braku s trideset godina mlađom suprugom Stanom, koja je, doznajemo u Beogradu, također teško bolesna.
Od njegove trinaestero djece iz tri braka, ni jedno ne živi u Hrvatskoj. Osim nedavno pokrenute istrage za ratni zločin u Drugom svjetskom ratu, protiv Sime Dubajića je u Hrvatskoj 1993. podnesena optužnica i za terorizam, odnosno organiziranje postavljanja barikada na ceste 1990. te za organiziranje naoružanih straža koje su pucale po civilima na području takozvane krajine.

Smrću Sime Dubajića njegov se kazneni dosje u Hrvatskoj zatvara i zauvijek odlaže.

San o filmskoj karijeri

Iako u ratu zagriženi partizan koji je zapovijedao mehaniziranim odredom 4. armije jugoslavenske vojske, Dubajić je nakon rata izabrao sasvim drugi životni put. Studirao je režiju u Rimu i sanjao o karijeri filmskog redatelja.

Glumio je u filmu “Družina Sinjega galeba”. Bio je asistent režije Branku Baueru u filmu “Ne okreći se, sine”. Sudjelovao je i u snimanju filma “Dinara”.

U srijedu je u Beogradu, u 86. godini života, umro Simo Dubajić, bivši partizanski major protiv kojega je u ožujku hrvatsko Državno odvjetništvo pokrenulo istragu i raspisalo međunarodnu tjeralicu.

Naime, Simu Dubajića se teretilo za izdavanje zapovijedi kojom je na Kočevskom rogu u Sloveniji ubijeno najmanje 13.000 ratnih zarobljenika između 26. svibnja i 15. lipnja 1945. godine.

Dubajić je u intervjuu za srbijanski tjednik “Svet” još 1990. priznao sudjelovanje u likvidacijama 30.000 ratnih zarobljenika. U svojoj autobiografskoj knjizi “Život, greh i kajanje - od Kistanja do Kočevskog roga”, ovaj rođeni Kistanjanin javno se pokajao za zlodjela koja je počinio služeći jednoj ideologiji.

Zatvoren dosje

Njegovi dobri poznavatelji tvrde da zbog bolesti već više od godinu dana prije smrti nije izlazio iz stana u Beogradu, a prije toga je svaki dan odlazio na molitvu u tamošnju crkvu sv. Marka.

Simo Dubajić će u ponedjeljak biti pokopan na beogradskom groblju, a izvori “Slobodne” kažu kako je dio obitelji bio za to da se njegovi posmrtni ostaci dovezu u rodno Kistanje i da ga se tu pokopa.

Međutim, nisu svi bili složni, a i administrativna procedura je, kažu, bila preprekom. Dubajić je do svoje smrti živio u trećem braku s trideset godina mlađom suprugom Stanom, koja je, doznajemo u Beogradu, također teško bolesna.
Od njegove trinaestero djece iz tri braka, ni jedno ne živi u Hrvatskoj. Osim nedavno pokrenute istrage za ratni zločin u Drugom svjetskom ratu, protiv Sime Dubajića je u Hrvatskoj 1993. podnesena optužnica i za terorizam, odnosno organiziranje postavljanja barikada na ceste 1990. te za organiziranje naoružanih straža koje su pucale po civilima na području takozvane krajine.

Smrću Sime Dubajića njegov se kazneni dosje u Hrvatskoj zatvara i zauvijek odlaže.

San o filmskoj karijeri

Iako u ratu zagriženi partizan koji je zapovijedao mehaniziranim odredom 4. armije jugoslavenske vojske, Dubajić je nakon rata izabrao sasvim drugi životni put. Studirao je režiju u Rimu i sanjao o karijeri filmskog redatelja.

Glumio je u filmu “Družina Sinjega galeba”. Bio je asistent režije Branku Baueru u filmu “Ne okreći se, sine”. Sudjelovao je i u snimanju filma “Dinara”.
