Predsjednica Europske središnje banke (ECB) Christine Lagarde izjavila je u razgovoru za Slovensku televiziju da se pristupanje Hrvatske eurozoni za sada odvija prema planu.

Na pitanje novinara slovenske televizijske kuće Igora Berganta može li rastuća inflacija u Europi, rat u Ukrajini i opća kriza djelovati na odgodu hrvatskog uključivanja u Europsku monetarnu uniju, Lagarde je odgovorila da je Hrvatska i dalje "jako posvećena svom cilju", odnosno ulasku u eurozonu.

"Ako smo do sada išta naučili, onda je to da su takva predanost i prilagodljivost glavna načela koja vode k napretku. Toga se držala i Slovenija i to stalno potvrđivala, a mislim da se i Hrvatska jako trudi na uvođenju eura", rekla je Lagarde.

"Divno je što ćemo vjerojatno vrlo brzo primiti (Hrvatsku) kao 20. članicu. Morat ćemo pri tom ukalkulirati podatke i činjenice i sve pregledati. To ćemo učiniti zajedno s Europskom komisijom, a ECB će sudjelovati u tom postupku. Za sada vidimo da se sve odvija prema planu", kazala je Lagarde.

Ona je u Sloveniji ovih dana boravila na proslavi 20. obljetnice rada slovenske središnje banke kao nezavisne monetarne ustanove, a u više se javnih nastupa tom prigodom referirala na mogućnost rasta inflacije i mjere koje s tim u vezi namjerava poduzeti ECB.

I u razgovoru za Slovensku televiziju ponovo je najavila postupnu "normalizaciju" monetarne politike ECB-a, te postupni rast kamatnih stopa u drugoj polovici ove godine, nakon što se zaključi program otkupa državnih obveznica.

"Naša monetarna politika i dalje ostaje stabilna, u skladu s ciljem osiguravanja stabilnosti cijena. Stagflacija nije naš cilj niti je to negativni rast", rekla je Lagarde, upozorivši da je do inflacijskih trendova došlo u drugoj polovici prošle godine, ali da su uvedeni postupci kojima je cilj djelovanje na stabilizaciju cijena, dodavši kako ni u kojem slučaju ne vidi potencijalnu situaciju kao dramatičnu.

Jedan od razloga rasta inflacije lani bilo je to što je potražnja nakon oporavka od posljedica koronakrize daleko premašivala ponudu, što je izazivalo probleme u lancima nabave, a na to se je nadovezala kriza s rastom cijena energenata.
Centralne banke moraju u takvim okolnostima učiniti sve potrebno da zauzdaju inflaciju, te ju približe cilju koji je u skladu sa smjernicama. To znači da inflacija u  srednjoročnom razdoblju mora biti najviše 2-postotna. To moramo postići, a i hoćemo, kazala je Lagarde za Slovensku televiziju.

Predsjednica Europske središnje banke (ECB) Christine Lagarde izjavila je u razgovoru za Slovensku televiziju da se pristupanje Hrvatske eurozoni za sada odvija prema planu.

Na pitanje novinara slovenske televizijske kuće Igora Berganta može li rastuća inflacija u Europi, rat u Ukrajini i opća kriza djelovati na odgodu hrvatskog uključivanja u Europsku monetarnu uniju, Lagarde je odgovorila da je Hrvatska i dalje "jako posvećena svom cilju", odnosno ulasku u eurozonu.

"Ako smo do sada išta naučili, onda je to da su takva predanost i prilagodljivost glavna načela koja vode k napretku. Toga se držala i Slovenija i to stalno potvrđivala, a mislim da se i Hrvatska jako trudi na uvođenju eura", rekla je Lagarde.

"Divno je što ćemo vjerojatno vrlo brzo primiti (Hrvatsku) kao 20. članicu. Morat ćemo pri tom ukalkulirati podatke i činjenice i sve pregledati. To ćemo učiniti zajedno s Europskom komisijom, a ECB će sudjelovati u tom postupku. Za sada vidimo da se sve odvija prema planu", kazala je Lagarde.

Ona je u Sloveniji ovih dana boravila na proslavi 20. obljetnice rada slovenske središnje banke kao nezavisne monetarne ustanove, a u više se javnih nastupa tom prigodom referirala na mogućnost rasta inflacije i mjere koje s tim u vezi namjerava poduzeti ECB.

I u razgovoru za Slovensku televiziju ponovo je najavila postupnu "normalizaciju" monetarne politike ECB-a, te postupni rast kamatnih stopa u drugoj polovici ove godine, nakon što se zaključi program otkupa državnih obveznica.

"Naša monetarna politika i dalje ostaje stabilna, u skladu s ciljem osiguravanja stabilnosti cijena. Stagflacija nije naš cilj niti je to negativni rast", rekla je Lagarde, upozorivši da je do inflacijskih trendova došlo u drugoj polovici prošle godine, ali da su uvedeni postupci kojima je cilj djelovanje na stabilizaciju cijena, dodavši kako ni u kojem slučaju ne vidi potencijalnu situaciju kao dramatičnu.

Jedan od razloga rasta inflacije lani bilo je to što je potražnja nakon oporavka od posljedica koronakrize daleko premašivala ponudu, što je izazivalo probleme u lancima nabave, a na to se je nadovezala kriza s rastom cijena energenata.
Centralne banke moraju u takvim okolnostima učiniti sve potrebno da zauzdaju inflaciju, te ju približe cilju koji je u skladu sa smjernicama. To znači da inflacija u  srednjoročnom razdoblju mora biti najviše 2-postotna. To moramo postići, a i hoćemo, kazala je Lagarde za Slovensku televiziju.

Predsjednica Europske središnje banke (ECB) Christine Lagarde izjavila je u razgovoru za Slovensku televiziju da se pristupanje Hrvatske eurozoni za sada odvija prema planu.

Na pitanje novinara slovenske televizijske kuće Igora Berganta može li rastuća inflacija u Europi, rat u Ukrajini i opća kriza djelovati na odgodu hrvatskog uključivanja u Europsku monetarnu uniju, Lagarde je odgovorila da je Hrvatska i dalje "jako posvećena svom cilju", odnosno ulasku u eurozonu.

"Ako smo do sada išta naučili, onda je to da su takva predanost i prilagodljivost glavna načela koja vode k napretku. Toga se držala i Slovenija i to stalno potvrđivala, a mislim da se i Hrvatska jako trudi na uvođenju eura", rekla je Lagarde.
