Otok Lastovo već mi je dugo na popisu željenih ljetnih destinacija, a ove godine napokon je došao red i na njega. Lastovo nije među najpopularnijim otocima, ali apsolutni mir i odmor bili su glavni aduti koji su me privukli.
Iz Splita trajektom do mjesta Ubli treba četiri i pol sata, a katamaranom i manje. U trenutku kad sam sišla s trajekta shvatila sam da Lastovo nije kao drugi otoci i da će ovo biti godišnji odmor u pravom smislu, što je i bio.
Nema tu ludih noćnih provoda i gužvi, nego kupanje, mir, izležavanje i guštanje u predivnim zalascima sunca.

Mjesto Lastovo jedino nije smješteno uz more, ali vrijedi posjeta. Kamene kućice ostavljaju bez daha, a obratite pažnju i na poznate lastovske fumare, bogato ukrašene, koji su jedan od najprepoznatljivijih zaštitnih znakova Lastova.
Jedno od najpopularnijih kupališta lokalnog stanovništva je Mihajla, koja se nalazi samo jedan kilometar od mjesta Lastova. Uvala je to u kojoj se proteže veliki mul, uz nju se nalazi i malena plaža te kafić.

Samo nekoliko minuta pješice od Mihajle nalazi se i šarmantno mjesto Lučica, koje čini tridesetak kuća, a potrebno je naglasiti da je riječ o zaštićenom povijesnom lokalitetu koji je izvorno bio ribarsko naselje. U Lučici je zabranjena novogradnja, a postojeće kuće renoviraju se u skladu sa strogim pravilima izvorne mediteranske arhitekture.

Otiđite do otočića Prežba, koji je mostom povezan s mjestom Pasadurom. Unajmite kajake ili pješice napravite đir do bivših vojnih tunela. Do uvale Kremena, gdje se nalazi plaža i vojni tunel, treba vam otprilike pola sata pješice iz Pasadura, a poželjno je biti u tenisicama.
Za fenomenalan pogled "potegnite" do Huma, vidikovca na 417 metara uz koji se nalazi i helidrom, a od pogleda na otoke sigurno ćete ostati bez daha.

Kad vas uhvati glad, ne brinite se jer ponuda je dobra, a cijene su prihvatljive. Preporučujem konobe "Bačvara" i "Fumari" te prvo obiteljsko poljoprivredno gospodarstvo Podanje, koje se nalazi u Prgovu polju, gdje sam jela najbolju hobotnicu ispod peke. Dodatni savjet: ako se odlučite za OPG Podanje, kontaktirajte ih ranije kako biste dogovorili sve detalje o hrani jer peku treba unaprijed naručiti.
Teško je riječima dočarati ovaj čaroban otok, ali jedno je sigurno – na Lastovo se vraćam.

Otok Lastovo već mi je dugo na popisu željenih ljetnih destinacija, a ove godine napokon je došao red i na njega. Lastovo nije među najpopularnijim otocima, ali apsolutni mir i odmor bili su glavni aduti koji su me privukli.
Iz Splita trajektom do mjesta Ubli treba četiri i pol sata, a katamaranom i manje. U trenutku kad sam sišla s trajekta shvatila sam da Lastovo nije kao drugi otoci i da će ovo biti godišnji odmor u pravom smislu, što je i bio.
Nema tu ludih noćnih provoda i gužvi, nego kupanje, mir, izležavanje i guštanje u predivnim zalascima sunca.

Mjesto Lastovo jedino nije smješteno uz more, ali vrijedi posjeta. Kamene kućice ostavljaju bez daha, a obratite pažnju i na poznate lastovske fumare, bogato ukrašene, koji su jedan od najprepoznatljivijih zaštitnih znakova Lastova.
Jedno od najpopularnijih kupališta lokalnog stanovništva je Mihajla, koja se nalazi samo jedan kilometar od mjesta Lastova. Uvala je to u kojoj se proteže veliki mul, uz nju se nalazi i malena plaža te kafić.

Samo nekoliko minuta pješice od Mihajle nalazi se i šarmantno mjesto Lučica, koje čini tridesetak kuća, a potrebno je naglasiti da je riječ o zaštićenom povijesnom lokalitetu koji je izvorno bio ribarsko naselje. U Lučici je zabranjena novogradnja, a postojeće kuće renoviraju se u skladu sa strogim pravilima izvorne mediteranske arhitekture.

Otiđite do otočića Prežba, koji je mostom povezan s mjestom Pasadurom. Unajmite kajake ili pješice napravite đir do bivših vojnih tunela. Do uvale Kremena, gdje se nalazi plaža i vojni tunel, treba vam otprilike pola sata pješice iz Pasadura, a poželjno je biti u tenisicama.
Za fenomenalan pogled "potegnite" do Huma, vidikovca na 417 metara uz koji se nalazi i helidrom, a od pogleda na otoke sigurno ćete ostati bez daha.

Kad vas uhvati glad, ne brinite se jer ponuda je dobra, a cijene su prihvatljive. Preporučujem konobe "Bačvara" i "Fumari" te prvo obiteljsko poljoprivredno gospodarstvo Podanje, koje se nalazi u Prgovu polju, gdje sam jela najbolju hobotnicu ispod peke. Dodatni savjet: ako se odlučite za OPG Podanje, kontaktirajte ih ranije kako biste dogovorili sve detalje o hrani jer peku treba unaprijed naručiti.
Teško je riječima dočarati ovaj čaroban otok, ali jedno je sigurno – na Lastovo se vraćam.
