Jeste li već primijetili kako nam svaki listopad pokloni nekoliko jako lijepih dana, gotovo rujanski vedrih i toplih? Ako niste, znači da ih svaki put propustite dobro iskoristiti. Tulove grede impozantan su krški fenomen smješten u Parku prirode Velebit, u blizini ceste Obrovac-Sveti Rok. Sastoje se od izrazito strmih vapnenačkih stijena koje dosežu čak 1120 metara nadmorske visine. Uz te su stijene vezane narodne predaje prema kojima su se ondje zmajevi legli iz jaja,  dok su u samim stijenama živjele nevidljive velebitske vile. Možda je najopakije od svih bića koja se spominju mistična Crna kraljica koja je donosila nesreću, no baš po njoj se zove plalninski prijevoj Kraljičina vrata.

S južne, pak strane Tulovih greda prekrasna je vrtača Dolac, jedna od lokacija na kojima je tijekom 60-ih po romanima Karla Maya sniman serijal filmova o Winnetouu.

Otprilike kilometar i pol dug uspon do vrha Tulovih greda počinje kod kamenog burobana i nije pretjerano zahtjevan, uvjeravaju nas, premda zahtijeva određen stupanj spretnosti jer vodi preko strmih i vrlo uskih djelova na kojima se treba koristiti sajlama i rukama. Osim toga, kako je velik dio područja oko staze još uvijek minski sumnjiv, više je nego preporučljivo držati se zadanog puta.

Međutim, uspon na Tulove grede itekako se isplati jer pogled s vrha je nezaboravan. Vide se Novigradsko i Karinsko more, Maslenički most, mnoštvo jadranskih otoka a posebno je lijep pogled prema jednom od najljepših vrhova Velebita, Svetom brdu

Kako vam se to ne bi opet dogodilo, isplanirajte kako provesti vrijeme u prirodi. Naš je prijedlog: zaputite se u planine dok još nije previše hladno. Tulove grede impozantan su krški fenomen smješten u Parku prirode Velebit, u blizini ceste Obrovac-Sveti Rok. Sastoje se od izrazito strmih vapnenačkih stijena koje dosežu čak 1120 metara nadmorske visine. Uz te su stijene vezane narodne predaje prema kojima su se ondje zmajevi legli iz jaja,  dok su u samim stijenama živjele nevidljive velebitske vile. Možda je najopakije od svih bića koja se spominju mistična Crna kraljica koja je donosila nesreću, no baš po njoj se zove plalninski prijevoj Kraljičina vrata.

S južne, pak strane Tulovih greda prekrasna je vrtača Dolac, jedna od lokacija na kojima je tijekom 60-ih po romanima Karla Maya sniman serijal filmova o Winnetouu.

Otprilike kilometar i pol dug uspon do vrha Tulovih greda počinje kod kamenog burobana i nije pretjerano zahtjevan, uvjeravaju nas, premda zahtijeva određen stupanj spretnosti jer vodi preko strmih i vrlo uskih djelova na kojima se treba koristiti sajlama i rukama. Osim toga, kako je velik dio područja oko staze još uvijek minski sumnjiv, više je nego preporučljivo držati se zadanog puta.

Međutim, uspon na Tulove grede itekako se isplati jer pogled s vrha je nezaboravan. Vide se Novigradsko i Karinsko more, Maslenički most, mnoštvo jadranskih otoka a posebno je lijep pogled prema jednom od najljepših vrhova Velebita, Svetom brdu
