Godinu dana nakon zbivanja u "Pozlaćenom dobu " odvija se serija "1883", samo što je mjesto radnje manje civilizirani zapad. "1883" je prednastavak hit-serije "Yellowstone " čija je četvrta sezona završila s emitiranjem početkom siječnja.
"Prequel" je bio najavljen jednim segmentom u "Yellowstone 4 " ambijentiranim u 1883. godinu (ovdje imamo jedan flešbek iz 1862.) i serija je upravo u punom jeku, nakon premijere koncem prosinca, s dosad prikazanih šest od ukupno deset epizoda.
Kreator obiju serija je isti, Taylor Sheridan , scenarist i/li redatelj filmova kao što su "Sicario ", "Sve ili ništa ", "Tragovi u snijegu " i "Oni koji mi žele smrt ".
Sheridan od početka autorske karijere gaji (neo)vesternski štih pa je bilo pitanje vremena kad će realizirati pravi vestern, što je sad napravio sa serijom fokusiranom na pretke "Yellowstoneova" rančera iz Montane, Johna Duttona (Kevin Costner ).
Doduše, "1883" je bio mandat studija Paramount nakon konačnog megauspjeha "Yellowstonea". Na momente se osjeća franšizacija kojom televizija nadmašuje filmove, ali serija je zasad vrlo solidna i još vrlije filmična.
Budžet od deset milijuna dolara po epizodi omogućio je filmičnost po uzoru na epske vesterne poput "Plesa s vukovima " i "Vrata raja ", toliko da se nerijetko čini da ne gledamo seriju, već film.
"Flash-forward" uvod prve epizode je dojmljiv u paketu s naracijom protagonistice Elise Dutton (Isabel May u probojnoj ulozi). Elisa govori kako čovjek mora biti tu, na Divljem zapadu, da bi razumio "fantaziju pravog i krivog", odnosno proći "pakao" s "demonima posvuda", tj. "postati demon" da preživi i ne bude, kasnije će reći, "živ pojeden".

Riječi prate slike napada Indijanaca na Elisinu kočiju koja će završiti u plamenu, a ona sa strijelom u torzu puca po napadačima.
Sve se to, dakle, događa u kasnijim epizodama, tijekom proputovanja Elise s ocem Jamesom Dillonom Duttonom i majkom Margaret (glazbenici Tim McGraw i Faith Hill ) iz Teksasa prema Montani, nekoliko generacija ranije prije nego se tamo smjestio Costnerov lik.
Duttonovima društvo pravi Shea Brennan u tumačenju vječitog kauboja, glumačkog veterana Sama Elliota ("Kuća na putu ", "Veliki Lebowski "), pomlađenog nakon nedavne oskarovske nominacije za sporednu ulogu u filmu "Zvijezda je rođena ".
Važan lik je i Shein suborac iz Građanskog rata, tamnoputi Thomas (upečatljivi LaMonica Garrett ; "Clemency ", "Primal "), kao i Noemi (debitantica Gratiela Brancusi ), a tu su i "special guest star" uloge Toma Hanksa i Billyja Boba Thorntona .
Glumačka ekipa je odradila dobar posao u seriji koja je, pohvalno, isključivo vesternska i dramska, odmaknuta od sapuničarenja "Yellowstonea" s kojim se, opet, fino slaže u mnogočemu.
McGraw kanalizira kaubojsko kulerstvo Colea Hausera (lik Ripa Wheelera), a serija oslikava povijest prije "Yellolowstoneove" sadašnjosti od koje se puno ne razlikuje s obzirom na to da prikazuje vječnu borbu oko zemlje.
Oslikava nastavak rođenja Amerike i "ruke koje su je izgradile", kako pjeva U2 u "Bandama New Yorka ".

Godinu dana nakon zbivanja u "Pozlaćenom dobu " odvija se serija "1883", samo što je mjesto radnje manje civilizirani zapad. "1883" je prednastavak hit-serije "Yellowstone " čija je četvrta sezona završila s emitiranjem početkom siječnja.
"Prequel" je bio najavljen jednim segmentom u "Yellowstone 4 " ambijentiranim u 1883. godinu (ovdje imamo jedan flešbek iz 1862.) i serija je upravo u punom jeku, nakon premijere koncem prosinca, s dosad prikazanih šest od ukupno deset epizoda.
Kreator obiju serija je isti, Taylor Sheridan , scenarist i/li redatelj filmova kao što su "Sicario ", "Sve ili ništa ", "Tragovi u snijegu " i "Oni koji mi žele smrt ".
Sheridan od početka autorske karijere gaji (neo)vesternski štih pa je bilo pitanje vremena kad će realizirati pravi vestern, što je sad napravio sa serijom fokusiranom na pretke "Yellowstoneova" rančera iz Montane, Johna Duttona (Kevin Costner ).
Doduše, "1883" je bio mandat studija Paramount nakon konačnog megauspjeha "Yellowstonea". Na momente se osjeća franšizacija kojom televizija nadmašuje filmove, ali serija je zasad vrlo solidna i još vrlije filmična.
Budžet od deset milijuna dolara po epizodi omogućio je filmičnost po uzoru na epske vesterne poput "Plesa s vukovima " i "Vrata raja ", toliko da se nerijetko čini da ne gledamo seriju, već film.
"Flash-forward" uvod prve epizode je dojmljiv u paketu s naracijom protagonistice Elise Dutton (Isabel May u probojnoj ulozi). Elisa govori kako čovjek mora biti tu, na Divljem zapadu, da bi razumio "fantaziju pravog i krivog", odnosno proći "pakao" s "demonima posvuda", tj. "postati demon" da preživi i ne bude, kasnije će reći, "živ pojeden".

Riječi prate slike napada Indijanaca na Elisinu kočiju koja će završiti u plamenu, a ona sa strijelom u torzu puca po napadačima.
Sve se to, dakle, događa u kasnijim epizodama, tijekom proputovanja Elise s ocem Jamesom Dillonom Duttonom i majkom Margaret (glazbenici Tim McGraw i Faith Hill ) iz Teksasa prema Montani, nekoliko generacija ranije prije nego se tamo smjestio Costnerov lik.
Duttonovima društvo pravi Shea Brennan u tumačenju vječitog kauboja, glumačkog veterana Sama Elliota ("Kuća na putu ", "Veliki Lebowski "), pomlađenog nakon nedavne oskarovske nominacije za sporednu ulogu u filmu "Zvijezda je rođena ".
Važan lik je i Shein suborac iz Građanskog rata, tamnoputi Thomas (upečatljivi LaMonica Garrett ; "Clemency ", "Primal "), kao i Noemi (debitantica Gratiela Brancusi ), a tu su i "special guest star" uloge Toma Hanksa i Billyja Boba Thorntona .
Glumačka ekipa je odradila dobar posao u seriji koja je, pohvalno, isključivo vesternska i dramska, odmaknuta od sapuničarenja "Yellowstonea" s kojim se, opet, fino slaže u mnogočemu.
McGraw kanalizira kaubojsko kulerstvo Colea Hausera (lik Ripa Wheelera), a serija oslikava povijest prije "Yellolowstoneove" sadašnjosti od koje se puno ne razlikuje s obzirom na to da prikazuje vječnu borbu oko zemlje.
Oslikava nastavak rođenja Amerike i "ruke koje su je izgradile", kako pjeva U2 u "Bandama New Yorka ".
