U ponudi streaming servisa HBO Max nalaze se dva serijska noviteta i kombiniraju romansu s trilerom u priči osovljenoj oko muško-ženskih odnosa i ambijentiranoj u rezidenciji koju je kreirao kontrolirajući muškarac – "Stvorena za ljubav" i "Ona prije mene".

Prva serija, izvorno naslovljena "Made For Love", spaja romantičnu komediju i visoki koncept iz futurističkih, tehnoloških SF trilera.

Zamislite li modernu rom-com inačicu "Stepfordskih supruga" i(li) "Crnog zrcala" s elementima "Neprijatelja u mom krevetu" i daškom satire, otprilike imate "Stvorenu za ljubav", nastalu prema romanu Alisse Nutting.

Glavni ženski lik je Hazel Green (Cristin Milioti; "Palm Springs") i ona je supruga tehnološkog mogula Byrona Gogola (Billy Magnussen; nedavno viđen u "Svim svecima mafije" i "Za smrt nema vremena"), koji vodi kompaniju za mobitele, računala, softver i "evoluira komunikaciju".

Byron u uvodu serije govori da je "ljubav centar naših života, ali svijet je evoluirao oko nas" pa je "vrijeme da ljubav evoluira". Doznat ćemo da Byron i Hazel već deset godina žive u izolaciji u njegovu kampusu gdje je on stvorio virtualnu simulaciju svijeta.

Međutim, Hazel bježi iz tog tehnološkog zatvora i na početku prve epizode vidimo je kako izranja negdje u pustinji, nakon čega se priča vraća 24 sata ranije i polako otkriva visoki koncept, šarajući po kronologiji njihove veze.

Naime, Byron je Hazel, bez njezina pristanka, ugradio čip kako bi mogli biti sinkronizirani, osjećati i misliti isto u isto vrijeme, završavati rečenice jedno drugome, što je za njega prava ljubav i "idući korak u evoluciji". Istovremeno, Byron može pratiti svaki Hazelin pokret i misao, kontrolirati nju i njihovu vezu.

Premisa je izvrsna i daje pogled na tehnološku stranu toksične muškosti i psihološkog nasilja u vezi, kao i programiranu ljubav, ali njezina izvrsnost se (pre)brzo troši u seriji, koja ne zna što bi točno s konceptom i gdje da skrene na raskrižju (loše) romanse i tehnologije.

Tako, serija skreće u suvišne komično-dramske rukavce s ponekim duhovitim dijalozima na temu muško-ženskih odnosa ("Da mi žena može čitati misli, razvela bi se od mene") i neduhovitim bizarnostima poput toga da Hazelin otac (poznati televizijski komičar Ray Romano) živi u braku sa seksualnom lutkom za napuhavanje, pardon "sintetičkom partnericom".

Osam epizoda u ekonomičnom trajanju 25-30 minuta protječu bezbolno unatoč povremenim stagnacijama, no gledatelj, unatoč načelnoj protočnosti serije, postaje sve svjesniji (po)trošnosti koncepta i polovičnoj razvijenosti potentnih ideja.

Najavljena druga sezona uz malo sreće do kraja razvije te ideje, a dotad "Made For Love" je najviše stvorena da gledatelj zavoli zvijezdu serije, glumicu Cristin Milioti.

Ona sinkronizira nesinkronizirane dijelove priče i glavni je zalog da gledatelj nastavlja pratiti "Stvorenu za ljubav" iz epizode u epizodu, potvrđujući se kao moguća buduća kraljica mračnih, ciničnih romantičnih komedija nakon "Palm Springs". Milioti je za "Made For Love" ono što je Natasha Lyonne za "Russian Doll".

U ponudi streaming servisa HBO Max nalaze se dva serijska noviteta i kombiniraju romansu s trilerom u priči osovljenoj oko muško-ženskih odnosa i ambijentiranoj u rezidenciji koju je kreirao kontrolirajući muškarac – "Stvorena za ljubav" i "Ona prije mene".

Prva serija, izvorno naslovljena "Made For Love", spaja romantičnu komediju i visoki koncept iz futurističkih, tehnoloških SF trilera.

Zamislite li modernu rom-com inačicu "Stepfordskih supruga" i(li) "Crnog zrcala" s elementima "Neprijatelja u mom krevetu" i daškom satire, otprilike imate "Stvorenu za ljubav", nastalu prema romanu Alisse Nutting.

Glavni ženski lik je Hazel Green (Cristin Milioti; "Palm Springs") i ona je supruga tehnološkog mogula Byrona Gogola (Billy Magnussen; nedavno viđen u "Svim svecima mafije" i "Za smrt nema vremena"), koji vodi kompaniju za mobitele, računala, softver i "evoluira komunikaciju".

Byron u uvodu serije govori da je "ljubav centar naših života, ali svijet je evoluirao oko nas" pa je "vrijeme da ljubav evoluira". Doznat ćemo da Byron i Hazel već deset godina žive u izolaciji u njegovu kampusu gdje je on stvorio virtualnu simulaciju svijeta.

Međutim, Hazel bježi iz tog tehnološkog zatvora i na početku prve epizode vidimo je kako izranja negdje u pustinji, nakon čega se priča vraća 24 sata ranije i polako otkriva visoki koncept, šarajući po kronologiji njihove veze.

Naime, Byron je Hazel, bez njezina pristanka, ugradio čip kako bi mogli biti sinkronizirani, osjećati i misliti isto u isto vrijeme, završavati rečenice jedno drugome, što je za njega prava ljubav i "idući korak u evoluciji". Istovremeno, Byron može pratiti svaki Hazelin pokret i misao, kontrolirati nju i njihovu vezu.

Premisa je izvrsna i daje pogled na tehnološku stranu toksične muškosti i psihološkog nasilja u vezi, kao i programiranu ljubav, ali njezina izvrsnost se (pre)brzo troši u seriji, koja ne zna što bi točno s konceptom i gdje da skrene na raskrižju (loše) romanse i tehnologije.

Tako, serija skreće u suvišne komično-dramske rukavce s ponekim duhovitim dijalozima na temu muško-ženskih odnosa ("Da mi žena može čitati misli, razvela bi se od mene") i neduhovitim bizarnostima poput toga da Hazelin otac (poznati televizijski komičar Ray Romano) živi u braku sa seksualnom lutkom za napuhavanje, pardon "sintetičkom partnericom".

Osam epizoda u ekonomičnom trajanju 25-30 minuta protječu bezbolno unatoč povremenim stagnacijama, no gledatelj, unatoč načelnoj protočnosti serije, postaje sve svjesniji (po)trošnosti koncepta i polovičnoj razvijenosti potentnih ideja.

Najavljena druga sezona uz malo sreće do kraja razvije te ideje, a dotad "Made For Love" je najviše stvorena da gledatelj zavoli zvijezdu serije, glumicu Cristin Milioti.

Ona sinkronizira nesinkronizirane dijelove priče i glavni je zalog da gledatelj nastavlja pratiti "Stvorenu za ljubav" iz epizode u epizodu, potvrđujući se kao moguća buduća kraljica mračnih, ciničnih romantičnih komedija nakon "Palm Springs". Milioti je za "Made For Love" ono što je Natasha Lyonne za "Russian Doll".
