Možda niste uživo, ali sigurno ste je vidjeli na stranicama magazina, na fotografijama, u filmovima ili u najvažnijim muzejima ako ste imali priliku šetati se po svijetu i posjetiti takva mjesta. Izvorni primjerak sofe u obliku putenih usana, koji je Edward James, bogati britanski pokrovitelj nadrealista tridesetih godina, naručio od Salvadora Dalija, danas je dio umjetničke zbirke u Muzeju Boijmans Van Beuningen u Rotterdamu. Druga verzija izložena je u Dalí Theatre and Museumu i Muzeju u Figueresu, u Kataloniji. Dvije verzije su u britanskim muzejima, jedna u vlasništvu Victoria and Albert Museuma u Londonu, a druga je izložena u Brighton Museumu.

No zašto spominjemo Salvadora Dalija, najvećeg nadrealista u slikarstvu dok govorimo o komadu namještaja? Zbog toga što je upravo on "skrivio" inspiraciju dizajnera da crvene usne pretvore u naslonjač, sofu ili kauč, kako god hoćete. Veliki španjolski slikar bio je, naime, fasciniran usnama hollywoodske filmske zvijezde Mae West pa je tako nastala i njegova slika ("Lice Mae West" 1935.), glumičina lica poput prostorije, na kojoj zavjese izgledaju kao kosa, slike na zidu su oči, nos služi kao stolić za sat, a usne su kao sofa.

Veliki slikarski autor nije ni pomišljao da bi detalj s njegove slike mogao postati objekt za upotrebu, ali tako nije mislio privatni vlasnik koji je od arhitekata čuvenog newyorškog Studija 54 zatražio upravo sofu u obliku Dalijevih usana. I tako je nastala najsenzualnija, najženstvenija i najpoželjnija sofa Bocca. Original je 1970. napravljen u talijanskoj dizajnerskoj kući "Gufram". Tajna ljepote ovoga komada namještaja leži i u malom detalju: dvije strane "usana" nisu jednake, baš kao što je to i na ljudskom licu.

Sofa Bocca, ili Lips, ili Usne na hrvatski, nije se nimalo promijenila posljednjih desetljeća, pa čak ni danas, kad slavni kauč slavi pedeseti rođendan, ne možete reći da nije izgubila na ljepoti, putenosti, poželjnosti... a da i ne govorimo o dekorativnosti koja je od samog početka bila jedna od dviju osnovnih namjena. Proizvođač "Gufram" je za proslavu 50. rođendana najavio Boccu u 25 novih nijansi. Izvorno je bila crvena, a od 2008. godine bila je ponuđena u dvije nove verzije: "Dark Lady" i "Pink Lady". Prva je buntovna, sva crna i s pretjeranim piercingom, pomalo gotička, ali i s rokerskim duhom. Druga verzija, "Pink Lady", poput novog ruža, izgleda glamuroznije, u tada modernoj boji fuksije. Bocca danas ima i svoje zlatno izdanje, ali u kakvoj god se boji pojavila, uvijek će privlačiti našu pažnju i buditi želju za takvim komadom namještaja.

Možda niste uživo, ali sigurno ste je vidjeli na stranicama magazina, na fotografijama, u filmovima ili u najvažnijim muzejima ako ste imali priliku šetati se po svijetu i posjetiti takva mjesta. Izvorni primjerak sofe u obliku putenih usana, koji je Edward James, bogati britanski pokrovitelj nadrealista tridesetih godina, naručio od Salvadora Dalija, danas je dio umjetničke zbirke u Muzeju Boijmans Van Beuningen u Rotterdamu. Druga verzija izložena je u Dalí Theatre and Museumu i Muzeju u Figueresu, u Kataloniji. Dvije verzije su u britanskim muzejima, jedna u vlasništvu Victoria and Albert Museuma u Londonu, a druga je izložena u Brighton Museumu.

No zašto spominjemo Salvadora Dalija, najvećeg nadrealista u slikarstvu dok govorimo o komadu namještaja? Zbog toga što je upravo on "skrivio" inspiraciju dizajnera da crvene usne pretvore u naslonjač, sofu ili kauč, kako god hoćete. Veliki španjolski slikar bio je, naime, fasciniran usnama hollywoodske filmske zvijezde Mae West pa je tako nastala i njegova slika ("Lice Mae West" 1935.), glumičina lica poput prostorije, na kojoj zavjese izgledaju kao kosa, slike na zidu su oči, nos služi kao stolić za sat, a usne su kao sofa.

Veliki slikarski autor nije ni pomišljao da bi detalj s njegove slike mogao postati objekt za upotrebu, ali tako nije mislio privatni vlasnik koji je od arhitekata čuvenog newyorškog Studija 54 zatražio upravo sofu u obliku Dalijevih usana. I tako je nastala najsenzualnija, najženstvenija i najpoželjnija sofa Bocca. Original je 1970. napravljen u talijanskoj dizajnerskoj kući "Gufram". Tajna ljepote ovoga komada namještaja leži i u malom detalju: dvije strane "usana" nisu jednake, baš kao što je to i na ljudskom licu.

Sofa Bocca, ili Lips, ili Usne na hrvatski, nije se nimalo promijenila posljednjih desetljeća, pa čak ni danas, kad slavni kauč slavi pedeseti rođendan, ne možete reći da nije izgubila na ljepoti, putenosti, poželjnosti... a da i ne govorimo o dekorativnosti koja je od samog početka bila jedna od dviju osnovnih namjena. Proizvođač "Gufram" je za proslavu 50. rođendana najavio Boccu u 25 novih nijansi. Izvorno je bila crvena, a od 2008. godine bila je ponuđena u dvije nove verzije: "Dark Lady" i "Pink Lady". Prva je buntovna, sva crna i s pretjeranim piercingom, pomalo gotička, ali i s rokerskim duhom. Druga verzija, "Pink Lady", poput novog ruža, izgleda glamuroznije, u tada modernoj boji fuksije. Bocca danas ima i svoje zlatno izdanje, ali u kakvoj god se boji pojavila, uvijek će privlačiti našu pažnju i buditi želju za takvim komadom namještaja.
