Neuron - Udruga djece, roditelja i osoba oboljelih od epilepsije Šibensko-kninske županije nije još uvijek stala na noge. Čekaju prostor za rad Udruge, traže donatore, sponzore, psihologe, volontere, a sve u svrhu istog cilja, pomoći oboljelima od epilepsije i njihovim obiteljima. Neuron je udruga osnovana 24. travnja 2023. godine, a ideja se, osnivačici i predsjednici udruge, Josipi Potočki Štrkalj, o njezinom osnivanju motala zadnjih nekoliko godina po glavi.

Motala joj se ponajprije jer su njene lavice oboljele od epilepsije. I to dvanaestogodišnjakinja s 5 godina, a trinaestogodišnjakinja s 8 godina.

- Moglo bi se reći da je udruga nastala iz pomalo “sebičnih” razloga jer moje obje kćeri imaju epilepsiju. Vidim kako je njima nositi se s tim, a znam kako je meni to proživljavati iz pozicije roditelja. Život s epilepsijom je poprilično nepredvidiv jer nitko ne zna kada će se napadaj dogoditi. Neki imaju auru, predosjećaj pred napad, ali sve ovisi od osobe do osobe. Meni kao majci je danonoćno prisutna doza straha i grča u želucu, jer uvijek postoji mogućnost da mi zazvoni telefon i da mi netko javi da se jedna od djevojčica srušila. Bila ja kod frizera, na poslu, na kavi, uvijek sam atento - započela je hrabra majka, osnivačica i predsjednica udruge Neuron.

U tuđim cipelama

Josipi, po struci fizioterapeutskoj tehničarki, ruku su odmah pružile njene prijateljice, ujedno suosnivačice: Maja, Matea i Sanela.

- Uvijek sam imala dozu straha, nedoumica, sumnji. Kockice su se posložile tako da se ova ideja o osnivanju udruge napokon realizirala. Udruga je zamišljena tako da okupi djecu, roditelje i osobe koje imaju epilepsiju - dodaje Josipa.

Cilj osnivanja udruge je da se oboljeli i njihove obitelji ne osjećaju usamljeno u svemu, da im se pruži adekvatna pomoć, da se socijaliziraju.

Uz to, Josipa je mišljenja da bi oboljelima puno značilo druženje, da vide da postoje djeca koja se nose s istim problemima, da razmjenjuju iskustva.

- Jer teško je shvatiti nekoga kada nisi hodao u njegovim cipelama, naročito kad je u pitanju nevidljiva Iz tog razloga će u Udruzi biti dostupno i psihološko savjetovalište jer često se oboljele osobe susreću s predrasudama; da nisu radno sposobne, da ne mogu imati djecu ili da su intelektualno ograničene - dodaje Potočki.

Zato je bitno glasno govoriti o epilepsiji i raditi na destigmatizaciji bolesti, a to se može samo edukacijom okoline.

U Udruzi planiraju i savjetovanja: kako postupiti kad osoba ima napadaj, kako se nositi sa strahom, kako prihvatiti bolest i još mnogo toga.

A da bi im sve to uspjelo potrebni su im volonteri, psiholozi, a još uvijek su u potrazi i za adekvatnim prostorom u kojem bi se djeca i članovi družili.

Prkose birokraciji

Uz Josipu u Udruzi su, za sada, Maja, Matea i Sanela - vrijedne suradnice koje neumorno rade, bore se, prkose birokraciji, planiraju, a sve s ciljem da olakšaju život oboljelih i njihovih obitelji.

- Zamišljene su radionice s djecom, večeri društvenih igara, ljetni i zimski kampovi uz pratnju medicinskih sestara, psihologa, doktora i volontera te edukacije u školama. Ujedno plan nam je obilježavanje Dana epilepsije te sufinanciranje lijekova za zaustavljanje napada - dodaje hrabra mama Josipa.

Neuron - Udruga djece, roditelja i osoba oboljelih od epilepsije Šibensko-kninske županije nije još uvijek stala na noge. Čekaju prostor za rad Udruge, traže donatore, sponzore, psihologe, volontere, a sve u svrhu istog cilja, pomoći oboljelima od epilepsije i njihovim obiteljima. Neuron je udruga osnovana 24. travnja 2023. godine, a ideja se, osnivačici i predsjednici udruge, Josipi Potočki Štrkalj, o njezinom osnivanju motala zadnjih nekoliko godina po glavi.

Motala joj se ponajprije jer su njene lavice oboljele od epilepsije. I to dvanaestogodišnjakinja s 5 godina, a trinaestogodišnjakinja s 8 godina.

- Moglo bi se reći da je udruga nastala iz pomalo “sebičnih” razloga jer moje obje kćeri imaju epilepsiju. Vidim kako je njima nositi se s tim, a znam kako je meni to proživljavati iz pozicije roditelja. Život s epilepsijom je poprilično nepredvidiv jer nitko ne zna kada će se napadaj dogoditi. Neki imaju auru, predosjećaj pred napad, ali sve ovisi od osobe do osobe. Meni kao majci je danonoćno prisutna doza straha i grča u želucu, jer uvijek postoji mogućnost da mi zazvoni telefon i da mi netko javi da se jedna od djevojčica srušila. Bila ja kod frizera, na poslu, na kavi, uvijek sam atento - započela je hrabra majka, osnivačica i predsjednica udruge Neuron.

U tuđim cipelama

Josipi, po struci fizioterapeutskoj tehničarki, ruku su odmah pružile njene prijateljice, ujedno suosnivačice: Maja, Matea i Sanela.

- Uvijek sam imala dozu straha, nedoumica, sumnji. Kockice su se posložile tako da se ova ideja o osnivanju udruge napokon realizirala. Udruga je zamišljena tako da okupi djecu, roditelje i osobe koje imaju epilepsiju - dodaje Josipa.

Cilj osnivanja udruge je da se oboljeli i njihove obitelji ne osjećaju usamljeno u svemu, da im se pruži adekvatna pomoć, da se socijaliziraju.

Uz to, Josipa je mišljenja da bi oboljelima puno značilo druženje, da vide da postoje djeca koja se nose s istim problemima, da razmjenjuju iskustva.

- Jer teško je shvatiti nekoga kada nisi hodao u njegovim cipelama, naročito kad je u pitanju nevidljiva Iz tog razloga će u Udruzi biti dostupno i psihološko savjetovalište jer često se oboljele osobe susreću s predrasudama; da nisu radno sposobne, da ne mogu imati djecu ili da su intelektualno ograničene - dodaje Potočki.

Zato je bitno glasno govoriti o epilepsiji i raditi na destigmatizaciji bolesti, a to se može samo edukacijom okoline.

U Udruzi planiraju i savjetovanja: kako postupiti kad osoba ima napadaj, kako se nositi sa strahom, kako prihvatiti bolest i još mnogo toga.

A da bi im sve to uspjelo potrebni su im volonteri, psiholozi, a još uvijek su u potrazi i za adekvatnim prostorom u kojem bi se djeca i članovi družili.

Prkose birokraciji

Uz Josipu u Udruzi su, za sada, Maja, Matea i Sanela - vrijedne suradnice koje neumorno rade, bore se, prkose birokraciji, planiraju, a sve s ciljem da olakšaju život oboljelih i njihovih obitelji.

- Zamišljene su radionice s djecom, večeri društvenih igara, ljetni i zimski kampovi uz pratnju medicinskih sestara, psihologa, doktora i volontera te edukacije u školama. Ujedno plan nam je obilježavanje Dana epilepsije te sufinanciranje lijekova za zaustavljanje napada - dodaje hrabra mama Josipa.

Neuron - Udruga djece, roditelja i osoba oboljelih od epilepsije Šibensko-kninske županije nije još uvijek stala na noge. Čekaju prostor za rad Udruge, traže donatore, sponzore, psihologe, volontere, a sve u svrhu istog cilja, pomoći oboljelima od epilepsije i njihovim obiteljima. Neuron je udruga osnovana 24. travnja 2023. godine, a ideja se, osnivačici i predsjednici udruge, Josipi Potočki Štrkalj, o njezinom osnivanju motala zadnjih nekoliko godina po glavi.

Motala joj se ponajprije jer su njene lavice oboljele od epilepsije. I to dvanaestogodišnjakinja s 5 godina, a trinaestogodišnjakinja s 8 godina.

- Moglo bi se reći da je udruga nastala iz pomalo “sebičnih” razloga jer moje obje kćeri imaju epilepsiju. Vidim kako je njima nositi se s tim, a znam kako je meni to proživljavati iz pozicije roditelja. Život s epilepsijom je poprilično nepredvidiv jer nitko ne zna kada će se napadaj dogoditi. Neki imaju auru, predosjećaj pred napad, ali sve ovisi od osobe do osobe. Meni kao majci je danonoćno prisutna doza straha i grča u želucu, jer uvijek postoji mogućnost da mi zazvoni telefon i da mi netko javi da se jedna od djevojčica srušila.
