Stanovnici šibenske četvrti Šubićevac ne mare osobito za odvajanje i sakupljanje biorazgradivog otpada. Naime, od ukupno 1.808 kućanstava koliko ih je u toj gradskoj četvrti, tek manji dio njih ne baca u istu kantu s ostalim otpadom i ljuske od krumpira ili jaja, ostatke od čišćenja povrća i voća, pokošenu travu, orezane grane i slično, već sve to odvaja i baca u posebne spremnike i kontejnere kako bi se sav taj bio otpad mogao kompostirati i pretvoriti u humus ili dalje prerađivati.

Pokazuju to podaci Zelenog grada koji od prije dva mjeseca na Šubićevcu provodi pilot projekt sakupljanja biorazgradivog otpada iz kućanstva.

-Od 1. siječnja do 22. veljače kada je bilo zadnje pražnjenje smeđih kanti i kontejnera prikupili smo ukupno 3.520 kilograma biorazgradivog otpada. Mislim da je to premalo. Problem je što je svega 20 posto kućanstva preuzelo kante, odnosno spremnike s biorazgradivim vrećicam, pa i ovom prilikom apeliram na sve koji nisu to napravili da ih preuzmu kod nas. Kante i spremnici su besplatni, kao i odvoz takvog otpada koji obavljamo jednom tjedno, tj. svakog četvrtka – kazao je Novica Ljubičić, direktor šibenske komunalne tvrtke Zeleni grad.

Dakle, kućanstva na Šubićevcu u mjesec dana sakupe manje od jednog kilograma biootpada, ali te niske brojke ne čude ako se ima na umu da od ukupno 1.808 kućanstava njih čak 1.628 živi u zgradama dok ih je u obiteljskim kućama svega 180. Upravo se stanarima višekatnica odlazak u Zeleni grad po posebne spremnike i bacanje, primjerice, kora od krumpira u njih, očito čini vrlo zahtjevnom i kompliciranom radnjom!

Naime, tek četvrtina domaćinstva u zgradama, točnije njih 374, preuzelo je spremnike i odvaja svoj biootpad. Svima koji se misle gdje će te kante uopće držati, a ako im i pronađu mjesto boje se da će im smrdjeti, Ljubičić poručuje kako nema razloga za takve strahove. Uz uvjet, valja dodati, da se odlaže propisani otpad, a ne da u smeđim spremnicima završe i ostaci kuhane hrane, kosti, meso, riba...

Spremnik za stan s biorazgradivim vrećicama

-Ventirirajući spremnici, kako se točno zovu, imaju zapreminu od 10 litara te se mogu držati i u sudoperu. Uz te spremnike svako kućanstvo dobije i 50 biorazgradivih vrećica, po jednu za svaki tjedan u godini, u koju bacaju biootpad i onda tu vrećicu odnesu u poseban kontejner, onaj sa smeđim poklopcem, ispred svoje zgrade – objašnjava Ljubičić.

Ipak više volje za odvajanjem biljnog otpada pokazuju stanovnici obiteljskih kuća na Šubićevcu. Od 180 takvih domaćinstava njih 118 preuzelo je svoje smeđe kante. Za razliku od spremnika u zgradama ove su kante znatno veće i imaju zapreminu od 120 litara, a kako većina kuća ima dvorište ili barem mali vrt u njima ima mjesta i za porezane grane, pokošenu travu, korov, ali samo onaj bez sjemena, i druge biljne ostatke. Premda, svjestan je Ljubičić kako je mnogim građanima na vrh glave svih mogućih kanti te da mnogi uz već postojeću zelenu za miješani komunalni otpad, žutu za plastiku i plavu za papir naprosto nemaju mjesta u dvorištima i za još jednu – smeđu kantu.

-Svjesni smo mi toga i ljudi nam se žale gdje će držati tolike kante, ali naša je obveza, zakonska i prema europskim direktivama, da osiguramo i organiziramo razvrstavanje i prikupljanje svih tih vrsta otpada. Premda i u tom razvrstanom otpadu na svašta nailazimo, pa smo i u biorazgradivom otpadu pronalazili, primjerice, plastiku -ističe Ljubičić.

Napominje kako je gradska četvrt Šubićevac izabrana za pilot projekt sakupljanja biootpada upravo zbog činjenice da većina stanovnika živi u zgradama, pa će to iskustvo dobro doći i za ostale dijelove grada u kojima ima dosta zgrada i nebodera, odnosno kućanstva koji nemaju okućnicu, kao što su kuće u Starom gradu.

-Zbog svega toga od 1. ožujka idemo u veliku kampanju edukacije građana u vezi s razvrstavnjem otpada pa tako i biorazgradivog, premda mi često uz račune građanima prilažemo i letke s takvim informacijama kako bi svi točno znali što se u koju kantu može staviti – zaključio je Ljubičić.

Stanovnici šibenske četvrti Šubićevac ne mare osobito za odvajanje i sakupljanje biorazgradivog otpada. Naime, od ukupno 1.808 kućanstava koliko ih je u toj gradskoj četvrti, tek manji dio njih ne baca u istu kantu s ostalim otpadom i ljuske od krumpira ili jaja, ostatke od čišćenja povrća i voća, pokošenu travu, orezane grane i slično, već sve to odvaja i baca u posebne spremnike i kontejnere kako bi se sav taj bio otpad mogao kompostirati i pretvoriti u humus ili dalje prerađivati.

Pokazuju to podaci Zelenog grada koji od prije dva mjeseca na Šubićevcu provodi pilot projekt sakupljanja biorazgradivog otpada iz kućanstva.

-Od 1. siječnja do 22. veljače kada je bilo zadnje pražnjenje smeđih kanti i kontejnera prikupili smo ukupno 3.520 kilograma biorazgradivog otpada. Mislim da je to premalo. Problem je što je svega 20 posto kućanstva preuzelo kante, odnosno spremnike s biorazgradivim vrećicam, pa i ovom prilikom apeliram na sve koji nisu to napravili da ih preuzmu kod nas. Kante i spremnici su besplatni, kao i odvoz takvog otpada koji obavljamo jednom tjedno, tj. svakog četvrtka – kazao je Novica Ljubičić, direktor šibenske komunalne tvrtke Zeleni grad.

Dakle, kućanstva na Šubićevcu u mjesec dana sakupe manje od jednog kilograma biootpada, ali te niske brojke ne čude ako se ima na umu da od ukupno 1.808 kućanstava njih čak 1.628 živi u zgradama dok ih je u obiteljskim kućama svega 180. Upravo se stanarima višekatnica odlazak u Zeleni grad po posebne spremnike i bacanje, primjerice, kora od krumpira u njih, očito čini vrlo zahtjevnom i kompliciranom radnjom!

Naime, tek četvrtina domaćinstva u zgradama, točnije njih 374, preuzelo je spremnike i odvaja svoj biootpad. Svima koji se misle gdje će te kante uopće držati, a ako im i pronađu mjesto boje se da će im smrdjeti, Ljubičić poručuje kako nema razloga za takve strahove. Uz uvjet, valja dodati, da se odlaže propisani otpad, a ne da u smeđim spremnicima završe i ostaci kuhane hrane, kosti, meso, riba...

Spremnik za stan s biorazgradivim vrećicama

-Ventirirajući spremnici, kako se točno zovu, imaju zapreminu od 10 litara te se mogu držati i u sudoperu. Uz te spremnike svako kućanstvo dobije i 50 biorazgradivih vrećica, po jednu za svaki tjedan u godini, u koju bacaju biootpad i onda tu vrećicu odnesu u poseban kontejner, onaj sa smeđim poklopcem, ispred svoje zgrade – objašnjava Ljubičić.

Ipak više volje za odvajanjem biljnog otpada pokazuju stanovnici obiteljskih kuća na Šubićevcu. Od 180 takvih domaćinstava njih 118 preuzelo je svoje smeđe kante. Za razliku od spremnika u zgradama ove su kante znatno veće i imaju zapreminu od 120 litara, a kako većina kuća ima dvorište ili barem mali vrt u njima ima mjesta i za porezane grane, pokošenu travu, korov, ali samo onaj bez sjemena, i druge biljne ostatke. Premda, svjestan je Ljubičić kako je mnogim građanima na vrh glave svih mogućih kanti te da mnogi uz već postojeću zelenu za miješani komunalni otpad, žutu za plastiku i plavu za papir naprosto nemaju mjesta u dvorištima i za još jednu – smeđu kantu.

-Svjesni smo mi toga i ljudi nam se žale gdje će držati tolike kante, ali naša je obveza, zakonska i prema europskim direktivama, da osiguramo i organiziramo razvrstavanje i prikupljanje svih tih vrsta otpada. Premda i u tom razvrstanom otpadu na svašta nailazimo, pa smo i u biorazgradivom otpadu pronalazili, primjerice, plastiku -ističe Ljubičić.

Napominje kako je gradska četvrt Šubićevac izabrana za pilot projekt sakupljanja biootpada upravo zbog činjenice da većina stanovnika živi u zgradama, pa će to iskustvo dobro doći i za ostale dijelove grada u kojima ima dosta zgrada i nebodera, odnosno kućanstva koji nemaju okućnicu, kao što su kuće u Starom gradu.

-Zbog svega toga od 1. ožujka idemo u veliku kampanju edukacije građana u vezi s razvrstavnjem otpada pa tako i biorazgradivog, premda mi često uz račune građanima prilažemo i letke s takvim informacijama kako bi svi točno znali što se u koju kantu može staviti – zaključio je Ljubičić.
