Premda se njihova upotreba u svrhu dekoriranja božićnog drvca zadnjih godina posve smanjila, možda vam se u obilasku trgovina u potrazi za ukrasima, šljokice odnosno lamete pronađu u ruci, a u tom je slučaju važno znati ovo. 

Jedan sastojak koji se i danas može naći u proizvodu može biti opasan.

Šljokice mogu biti opasne za okoliš i zdravlje.

Nekad su se lameta sa šljokicama izrađivale s olovom, što je nitima davalo veću težinu i “ljepše je visilo” na drvcu. I danas se još uvijek povremeno prodaju olovne šljokice; obično su dostupne pod nazivom “staniol šljokice”.

Ali potrošači bi to trebali izbjegavati, što također preporučuje Savezna agencija za okoliš. Iako se proizvod koji sadrži olovo može sigurno dodirivati, on ima vrlo negativne učinke na okoliš. Lako se dogodi da lamete budu odložene s drvcem. Tako štetna tvar završava u kompostu, prenosi Fenix. 

Čak i današnje uobičajene alternative od plastike ili aluminija nisu biorazgradive i treba ih odložiti u otpad. S druge strane, limene folije koje sadrže olovo moraju se čak odlagati kao opasni otpad.

Lamete, od kojih god materijala bile, također mogu biti pogubne za kućne ljubimce. Osobito su mačke u opasnosti jer se igraju sa svjetlucavim nitima. Ako ih progutaju, to može čak biti i smrtonosno – ako ste u nedoumici, odmah se obratite veterinaru.

Premda se njihova upotreba u svrhu dekoriranja božićnog drvca zadnjih godina posve smanjila, možda vam se u obilasku trgovina u potrazi za ukrasima, šljokice odnosno lamete pronađu u ruci, a u tom je slučaju važno znati ovo. 

Jedan sastojak koji se i danas može naći u proizvodu može biti opasan.

Šljokice mogu biti opasne za okoliš i zdravlje.

Nekad su se lameta sa šljokicama izrađivale s olovom, što je nitima davalo veću težinu i “ljepše je visilo” na drvcu. I danas se još uvijek povremeno prodaju olovne šljokice; obično su dostupne pod nazivom “staniol šljokice”.

Ali potrošači bi to trebali izbjegavati, što također preporučuje Savezna agencija za okoliš. Iako se proizvod koji sadrži olovo može sigurno dodirivati, on ima vrlo negativne učinke na okoliš. Lako se dogodi da lamete budu odložene s drvcem. Tako štetna tvar završava u kompostu, prenosi Fenix. 

Čak i današnje uobičajene alternative od plastike ili aluminija nisu biorazgradive i treba ih odložiti u otpad. S druge strane, limene folije koje sadrže olovo moraju se čak odlagati kao opasni otpad.

Lamete, od kojih god materijala bile, također mogu biti pogubne za kućne ljubimce. Osobito su mačke u opasnosti jer se igraju sa svjetlucavim nitima. Ako ih progutaju, to može čak biti i smrtonosno – ako ste u nedoumici, odmah se obratite veterinaru.

U potrazi za božićnim dekoracijama možda kupite ovo, no malo tko zna da je ovaj ukras otrovan i izrazito opasan

Premda se njihova upotreba u svrhu dekoriranja božićnog drvca zadnjih godina posve smanjila, možda vam se u obilasku trgovina u potrazi za ukrasima, šljokice odnosno lamete pronađu u ruci, a u tom je slučaju važno znati ovo. 

Jedan sastojak koji se i danas može naći u proizvodu može biti opasan.

Šljokice mogu biti opasne za okoliš i zdravlje.

Nekad su se lameta sa šljokicama izrađivale s olovom, što je nitima davalo veću težinu i “ljepše je visilo” na drvcu. I danas se još uvijek povremeno prodaju olovne šljokice; obično su dostupne pod nazivom “staniol šljokice”.

Ali potrošači bi to trebali izbjegavati, što također preporučuje Savezna agencija za okoliš. Iako se proizvod koji sadrži olovo može sigurno dodirivati, on ima vrlo negativne učinke na okoliš. Lako se dogodi da lamete budu odložene s drvcem. Tako štetna tvar završava u kompostu, prenosi Fenix. 

Čak i današnje uobičajene alternative od plastike ili aluminija nisu biorazgradive i treba ih odložiti u otpad. S druge strane, limene folije koje sadrže olovo moraju se čak odlagati kao opasni otpad.

Lamete, od kojih god materijala bile, također mogu biti pogubne za kućne ljubimce. Osobito su mačke u opasnosti jer se igraju sa svjetlucavim nitima. Ako ih progutaju, to može čak biti i smrtonosno – ako ste u nedoumici, odmah se obratite veterinaru.
