Zagrebački liječnik šibenskih korijena dr. Dražen Grgić, oftalmolog, uskoro će se na svojoj jedrilici "Mihovil" iz lučice Vrnaža otisnuti na zanimljivo prekooceansko putovanje, sve kako bi, veli, upozorio na potrebu zaštite mora od zagađenja plastikom.

– Akcija pod motom "Čisto more – čisto srce" posvećena je zaštiti našega mora te morske flore i faune. Kako bih privukao pažnju na potrebu zaštite naših najvećih vrijednosti od zagađenja, odlučio sam odjedriti od Šibenika, našeg Nacionalnog parka Kornati, do brazilskog otočja Fernando de Noronha. Isplovljavanje je planirano 29. rujna, na blagdan svetoga Mihovila, zaštitnika Šibenika, kad se slavi i dan grada, a povratak je predviđen krajem godine. Nadam se da će akcija donijeti rezultat u očuvanju našeg mora i smanjenju uporabe jednokratne plastične ambalaže – istaknuo je dr. Grgić.

Liječnik će od Kornata do Brazila, inače, ploviti desetmetarskom jedrilicom nazvanom po šibenskom zaštitniku svetom Mihovilu i ukrašenom simbolima grada.

Po predviđanju inicijatora i realizatora ove ekološke akcije, plovidba od Kornata do Brazila trajat će do mjesec i pol dana, a plovit će, veli, najprije uz obalu Italije, Sardinije i Španjolske, a nakon Gibraltara i Kanara pred njim su otvorene vode Atlantskog oceana. Većinu puta trebao bi, kaže, biti dostupan preko satelitske komunikacije.

– Ovo je nevjerojatno hrabar pothvat i velika promocija Šibenika, povezana i sa simbolikom našeg zaštitnika svetog Mihovila. Draženu želim puno sreće, mirno more i ponovni susret u Vrnaži kako bismo čuli sve detalje o ovoj interesantnoj plovidbi – rekao je dr. Željko Burić, šibenski gradonačelnik.

Zagrebački liječnik šibenskih korijena dr. Dražen Grgić, oftalmolog, uskoro će se na svojoj jedrilici "Mihovil" iz lučice Vrnaža otisnuti na zanimljivo prekooceansko putovanje, sve kako bi, veli, upozorio na potrebu zaštite mora od zagađenja plastikom.

– Akcija pod motom "Čisto more – čisto srce" posvećena je zaštiti našega mora te morske flore i faune. Kako bih privukao pažnju na potrebu zaštite naših najvećih vrijednosti od zagađenja, odlučio sam odjedriti od Šibenika, našeg Nacionalnog parka Kornati, do brazilskog otočja Fernando de Noronha. Isplovljavanje je planirano 29. rujna, na blagdan svetoga Mihovila, zaštitnika Šibenika, kad se slavi i dan grada, a povratak je predviđen krajem godine. Nadam se da će akcija donijeti rezultat u očuvanju našeg mora i smanjenju uporabe jednokratne plastične ambalaže – istaknuo je dr. Grgić.

Liječnik će od Kornata do Brazila, inače, ploviti desetmetarskom jedrilicom nazvanom po šibenskom zaštitniku svetom Mihovilu i ukrašenom simbolima grada.

Po predviđanju inicijatora i realizatora ove ekološke akcije, plovidba od Kornata do Brazila trajat će do mjesec i pol dana, a plovit će, veli, najprije uz obalu Italije, Sardinije i Španjolske, a nakon Gibraltara i Kanara pred njim su otvorene vode Atlantskog oceana. Većinu puta trebao bi, kaže, biti dostupan preko satelitske komunikacije.

– Ovo je nevjerojatno hrabar pothvat i velika promocija Šibenika, povezana i sa simbolikom našeg zaštitnika svetog Mihovila. Draženu želim puno sreće, mirno more i ponovni susret u Vrnaži kako bismo čuli sve detalje o ovoj interesantnoj plovidbi – rekao je dr. Željko Burić, šibenski gradonačelnik.
