S meteorološkog portala Istramet upozorili su na neobične vremenske prilike koje će u narednom razdoblju zahvatiti dijelove Sredozemlja. Naime, Grčku bi mogao pogoditi uragan.

Kako objašnjavaju, na aktualnim satelitskim snimkama uočava se ciklona koja se primiče Jonskom moru. Taj bi sustav u iduća 24 sata mogao poprimiti tropska obilježja, odnosno postoji velika mogućnost razvoja tzv. 'medicanea' koji donosi ekstremne meteorološke prilike.

'Medicane' ili meditaranski tropski uragan vrlo je rijetka meteorološka pojava u Sredozemlju, a uglavnom je rezervirana samo za najtopliji dio Sredozemnog mora.

Uragani u Sredozemlju nisu česti jer su uvjeti za njih nepovoljni: temperatura mora nije dovoljno visoka, često nema dovoljno vlage, a Sredozemno more jednostavno je premaleno za njihov razvoj. Od 1948. do 2011. godine ukupno je zabilježeno samo 99 ciklona koje su podsjećale na uragan.

Medicane donosi jake vjetrove uz obilne oborine, pijavice, tornada, a sve nerijetko završava velikom materijalnom štetom. Samo kretanje medicanea vrlo je teško prognozirati.

Trenutni sustav koji se prati nazvan je Cassilda, a zapadnu obalu Grčke mogao bi pogoditi u petak poslijepodne. 
Iako je teško predviđati, čini se da bi vjetrovi mogli doseći brzinu od 200 km/h, piše Istramet.

S meteorološkog portala Istramet upozorili su na neobične vremenske prilike koje će u narednom razdoblju zahvatiti dijelove Sredozemlja. Naime, Grčku bi mogao pogoditi uragan.

Kako objašnjavaju, na aktualnim satelitskim snimkama uočava se ciklona koja se primiče Jonskom moru. Taj bi sustav u iduća 24 sata mogao poprimiti tropska obilježja, odnosno postoji velika mogućnost razvoja tzv. 'medicanea' koji donosi ekstremne meteorološke prilike.

'Medicane' ili meditaranski tropski uragan vrlo je rijetka meteorološka pojava u Sredozemlju, a uglavnom je rezervirana samo za najtopliji dio Sredozemnog mora.

Uragani u Sredozemlju nisu česti jer su uvjeti za njih nepovoljni: temperatura mora nije dovoljno visoka, često nema dovoljno vlage, a Sredozemno more jednostavno je premaleno za njihov razvoj. Od 1948. do 2011. godine ukupno je zabilježeno samo 99 ciklona koje su podsjećale na uragan.

Medicane donosi jake vjetrove uz obilne oborine, pijavice, tornada, a sve nerijetko završava velikom materijalnom štetom. Samo kretanje medicanea vrlo je teško prognozirati.

Trenutni sustav koji se prati nazvan je Cassilda, a zapadnu obalu Grčke mogao bi pogoditi u petak poslijepodne. 
Iako je teško predviđati, čini se da bi vjetrovi mogli doseći brzinu od 200 km/h, piše Istramet.

S meteorološkog portala Istramet upozorili su na neobične vremenske prilike koje će u narednom razdoblju zahvatiti dijelove Sredozemlja. Naime, Grčku bi mogao pogoditi uragan.

Kako objašnjavaju, na aktualnim satelitskim snimkama uočava se ciklona koja se primiče Jonskom moru. Taj bi sustav u iduća 24 sata mogao poprimiti tropska obilježja, odnosno postoji velika mogućnost razvoja tzv. 'medicanea' koji donosi ekstremne meteorološke prilike.

'Medicane' ili meditaranski tropski uragan vrlo je rijetka meteorološka pojava u Sredozemlju, a uglavnom je rezervirana samo za najtopliji dio Sredozemnog mora.

Uragani u Sredozemlju nisu česti jer su uvjeti za njih nepovoljni: temperatura mora nije dovoljno visoka, često nema dovoljno vlage, a Sredozemno more jednostavno je premaleno za njihov razvoj. Od 1948. do 2011. godine ukupno je zabilježeno samo 99 ciklona koje su podsjećale na uragan.

Medicane donosi jake vjetrove uz obilne oborine, pijavice, tornada, a sve nerijetko završava velikom materijalnom štetom. Samo kretanje medicanea vrlo je teško prognozirati.

Trenutni sustav koji se prati nazvan je Cassilda, a zapadnu obalu Grčke mogao bi pogoditi u petak poslijepodne. 
Iako je teško predviđati, čini se da bi vjetrovi mogli doseći brzinu od 200 km/h, piše Istramet.
