Godine prolaze, sjećanja na velikog Tomislava Ivića nimalo ne blijede. Prošlo je točno 11 godina otkako nas je napustio šjor Ivan ili za svoje najbliže jednostavno Braco. Tog 24. lipnja 2011., baš u godini u kojoj se obilježavao Hajdukov jubilej, sto godina “bijelih”. Šest dana prije nego što bi imao 78. rođendan. Velikan Hajduka i RNK Splita, za koje je govorio da su mu srce i duša, ali i velikan nogometa generalno.

Što god napisali, stavili na papir o Iviću kao prije svega trenerskom geniju i vizionaru, čovjeku koji je bio daleko ispred svog vremena i ostavio neizbrisiv trag u Hajduku i nogometu općenito, premalo je da bi opisalo svu njegovu veličinu. Nabrajanje osvojenih trofeja i uspjeha, klubova i igrača koje je vodio, ne daje cjelovitu sliku.

Bio je na kormilu Splita gdje je i počeo raditi u mlađim kategorijama, pa i prethodno kao igrač. Potom je vodio Šibenika i Hajduka. Bio je trener zlatne, trofejne generacije “bijelih” sedamdesetih godina. Bio je prvak s Hajdukom, Ajaxom, Anderlechtom, Portom, osvajač Superkupa i prvak svijeta s Portom... Vodio je i Galatasaray, Panathinaikos, Dinamo, Marseille, Benficu, PSG, Atletico Madrid, Fenerbahče, jednom i reprezentaciju Hrvatske u slavnoj pobjedi nad Italijom u Palermu... Opus je to kakvim se rijetki u ovoj branši i danas u ovo doba opće sportske globalizacije kada je sve mnogo lakše i dostupnije mogu pohvaliti. Jednom riječju - najveći. Najveći hrvatski nogometni trener svih vremena.

No, kao i mnogi velikani grada pod Marjanom u svim aspektima života, grada koji sustavno “reže glave” svima koji se usude izdići iz “copy paste” gomile, a kamoli svjetskim veličinama, grada koji valjda još od vremena Dioklecijana ne trpi ništa drugačije makar to bilo bolje i(li) modernije, u vlastitoj kući, gradu nikada nije dobio priznanje kakvo je doista zaslužio. Ni za života, pa čak ni posthumno, što se kaže s naknadnom pameti. Barem ne u onom rangu kako mu po liku i djelu definitivno pripada. Srećom Hajduk živi vječno, a s njim i njegovi velikani.

Godine prolaze, sjećanja na velikog Tomislava Ivića nimalo ne blijede. Prošlo je točno 11 godina otkako nas je napustio šjor Ivan ili za svoje najbliže jednostavno Braco. Tog 24. lipnja 2011., baš u godini u kojoj se obilježavao Hajdukov jubilej, sto godina “bijelih”. Šest dana prije nego što bi imao 78. rođendan. Velikan Hajduka i RNK Splita, za koje je govorio da su mu srce i duša, ali i velikan nogometa generalno.

Što god napisali, stavili na papir o Iviću kao prije svega trenerskom geniju i vizionaru, čovjeku koji je bio daleko ispred svog vremena i ostavio neizbrisiv trag u Hajduku i nogometu općenito, premalo je da bi opisalo svu njegovu veličinu. Nabrajanje osvojenih trofeja i uspjeha, klubova i igrača koje je vodio, ne daje cjelovitu sliku.

Bio je na kormilu Splita gdje je i počeo raditi u mlađim kategorijama, pa i prethodno kao igrač. Potom je vodio Šibenika i Hajduka. Bio je trener zlatne, trofejne generacije “bijelih” sedamdesetih godina. Bio je prvak s Hajdukom, Ajaxom, Anderlechtom, Portom, osvajač Superkupa i prvak svijeta s Portom... Vodio je i Galatasaray, Panathinaikos, Dinamo, Marseille, Benficu, PSG, Atletico Madrid, Fenerbahče, jednom i reprezentaciju Hrvatske u slavnoj pobjedi nad Italijom u Palermu... Opus je to kakvim se rijetki u ovoj branši i danas u ovo doba opće sportske globalizacije kada je sve mnogo lakše i dostupnije mogu pohvaliti. Jednom riječju - najveći. Najveći hrvatski nogometni trener svih vremena.

No, kao i mnogi velikani grada pod Marjanom u svim aspektima života, grada koji sustavno “reže glave” svima koji se usude izdići iz “copy paste” gomile, a kamoli svjetskim veličinama, grada koji valjda još od vremena Dioklecijana ne trpi ništa drugačije makar to bilo bolje i(li) modernije, u vlastitoj kući, gradu nikada nije dobio priznanje kakvo je doista zaslužio. Ni za života, pa čak ni posthumno, što se kaže s naknadnom pameti. Barem ne u onom rangu kako mu po liku i djelu definitivno pripada. Srećom Hajduk živi vječno, a s njim i njegovi velikani.

Prošlo je 11 godina od smrti Tomislava Ivića: bio je najveći, a svoj uspon započeo je u Šibeniku!

Godine prolaze, sjećanja na velikog Tomislava Ivića nimalo ne blijede. Prošlo je točno 11 godina otkako nas je napustio šjor Ivan ili za svoje najbliže jednostavno Braco. Tog 24. lipnja 2011., baš u godini u kojoj se obilježavao Hajdukov jubilej, sto godina “bijelih”. Šest dana prije nego što bi imao 78. rođendan. Velikan Hajduka i RNK Splita, za koje je govorio da su mu srce i duša, ali i velikan nogometa generalno.

Što god napisali, stavili na papir o Iviću kao prije svega trenerskom geniju i vizionaru, čovjeku koji je bio daleko ispred svog vremena i ostavio neizbrisiv trag u Hajduku i nogometu općenito, premalo je da bi opisalo svu njegovu veličinu. Nabrajanje osvojenih trofeja i uspjeha, klubova i igrača koje je vodio, ne daje cjelovitu sliku.

Bio je na kormilu Splita gdje je i počeo raditi u mlađim kategorijama, pa i prethodno kao igrač. Potom je vodio Šibenika i Hajduka. Bio je trener zlatne, trofejne generacije “bijelih” sedamdesetih godina. Bio je prvak s Hajdukom, Ajaxom, Anderlechtom, Portom, osvajač Superkupa i prvak svijeta s Portom... Vodio je i Galatasaray, Panathinaikos, Dinamo, Marseille, Benficu, PSG, Atletico Madrid, Fenerbahče, jednom i reprezentaciju Hrvatske u slavnoj pobjedi nad Italijom u Palermu... Opus je to kakvim se rijetki u ovoj branši i danas u ovo doba opće sportske globalizacije kada je sve mnogo lakše i dostupnije mogu pohvaliti. Jednom riječju - najveći. Najveći hrvatski nogometni trener svih vremena.

No, kao i mnogi velikani grada pod Marjanom u svim aspektima života, grada koji sustavno “reže glave” svima koji se usude izdići iz “copy paste” gomile, a kamoli svjetskim veličinama, grada koji valjda još od vremena Dioklecijana ne trpi ništa drugačije makar to bilo bolje i(li) modernije, u vlastitoj kući, gradu nikada nije dobio priznanje kakvo je doista zaslužio. Ni za života, pa čak ni posthumno, što se kaže s naknadnom pameti. Barem ne u onom rangu kako mu po liku i djelu definitivno pripada. Srećom Hajduk živi vječno, a s njim i njegovi velikani.
