Dražen Petrović izradio je osobnu iskaznicu 7. lipnja 1983. godine. 18-godišnji šibenski srednjoškolac već je tada bio igrač s naslovnih stranica.

Te godine njegova Šibenka igrala je finale prvenstva Jugoslavije protiv Bosne. Treća, posljednja utakmica, igrala se pred prepunim Baldekinom. Šibenka je na poluvremenu gubila 11 koševa zaostatka. Drugo poluvrijeme Dražen je odigrao fantastično, postigao je 40 koševa, i doveo svoj klub do pobjede. Iako im je naslov kasnije nepravedno oduzet, svi su pričali o njegovom nevjerojatnom talentu i sposobnosti da sam odluči utakmicu.

Na njegovoj osobnoj iskaznici, koja se danas nalazi u zagrebačkom Muzeju Dražena Petrovića, stoji datum isteka deset godina kasnije - 7. lipnja 1993. Toga dana, nevjerojatnim spletom sudbine, Dražen je poginuo.

Klara Szalantzy, njegova tadašnja djevojka, kobnog dana došla je po Dražena na aerodrom u Frankfurt. Na autocesti kod Denkendorfa izgubila je kontrolu nad vozilom i sudarila se sa šleperom koji joj je prepriječio put. Dražen je spavao i bio nevezan. Od težine ozljeda na mjestu je preminuo.

U 17.20 sati njegov ručni sat je stao, a čudom se nije razbio. Obitelj Petrović zavijena je u crno, a cijela Hrvatska plakala je za svojim "košarkaškim Mozartom" i idolom generacije.

"Svaka godišnjica Draženove smrti je teška. Tijelo se uznemiri uoči tog datuma više nego inače, i ništa tu ne mogu napraviti", rekla nam je njegova majka Biserka, koja nas je dočekala u njegovom muzeju u Zagrebu. Ponosna je jer je u muzej napokon stigla Draženova figura, djelo francuske ugledne dermoplastične kiparice Elisabeth Daynes, koju nam je ekskluzivno pokazala.

Neki od najzapaženijih Daynesinih radova nalaze se u Muzeju neandertalaca u Krapini, gdje je napravila rekonstrukciju cijele sedamnaestočlane obitelji neandertalaca, a radila je i za Muzej Madame Tussand.

Njezine rekonstrukcije poprilično su skupe (od 8.000 do 30.000 eura) jer riječ je o jednoj od najpoznatijih stručnjakinja za hiperrealistične, dermoplastične strukture. Daynes je radila za najveće muzeje diljem svijeta, u Japanu, Izraelu, Francuskoj, Austriji i SAD-u, a svaki detalj ručni je rad.

"Pogledajte vi ovdje znoj, mišiće. To je nevjerojatno. Ja ne mogu dugo stajati pored", rekla nam je dirnuta Biserka.

U dvorani u podrumu Muzeja Dražena Petrovića tako će posjetitelji moći vidjeti njegovu figuru u prirodnoj veličini. Nalazit će se u olimpijskim krugovima, a on će se pored svjetala okretati i djeci pokazivati košarku na ekranima.

Dražen Petrović izradio je osobnu iskaznicu 7. lipnja 1983. godine. 18-godišnji šibenski srednjoškolac već je tada bio igrač s naslovnih stranica.

Te godine njegova Šibenka igrala je finale prvenstva Jugoslavije protiv Bosne. Treća, posljednja utakmica, igrala se pred prepunim Baldekinom. Šibenka je na poluvremenu gubila 11 koševa zaostatka. Drugo poluvrijeme Dražen je odigrao fantastično, postigao je 40 koševa, i doveo svoj klub do pobjede. Iako im je naslov kasnije nepravedno oduzet, svi su pričali o njegovom nevjerojatnom talentu i sposobnosti da sam odluči utakmicu.

Na njegovoj osobnoj iskaznici, koja se danas nalazi u zagrebačkom Muzeju Dražena Petrovića, stoji datum isteka deset godina kasnije - 7. lipnja 1993. Toga dana, nevjerojatnim spletom sudbine, Dražen je poginuo.

Klara Szalantzy, njegova tadašnja djevojka, kobnog dana došla je po Dražena na aerodrom u Frankfurt. Na autocesti kod Denkendorfa izgubila je kontrolu nad vozilom i sudarila se sa šleperom koji joj je prepriječio put. Dražen je spavao i bio nevezan. Od težine ozljeda na mjestu je preminuo.

U 17.20 sati njegov ručni sat je stao, a čudom se nije razbio. Obitelj Petrović zavijena je u crno, a cijela Hrvatska plakala je za svojim "košarkaškim Mozartom" i idolom generacije.

"Svaka godišnjica Draženove smrti je teška. Tijelo se uznemiri uoči tog datuma više nego inače, i ništa tu ne mogu napraviti", rekla nam je njegova majka Biserka, koja nas je dočekala u njegovom muzeju u Zagrebu. Ponosna je jer je u muzej napokon stigla Draženova figura, djelo francuske ugledne dermoplastične kiparice Elisabeth Daynes, koju nam je ekskluzivno pokazala.

Neki od najzapaženijih Daynesinih radova nalaze se u Muzeju neandertalaca u Krapini, gdje je napravila rekonstrukciju cijele sedamnaestočlane obitelji neandertalaca, a radila je i za Muzej Madame Tussand.

Njezine rekonstrukcije poprilično su skupe (od 8.000 do 30.000 eura) jer riječ je o jednoj od najpoznatijih stručnjakinja za hiperrealistične, dermoplastične strukture. Daynes je radila za najveće muzeje diljem svijeta, u Japanu, Izraelu, Francuskoj, Austriji i SAD-u, a svaki detalj ručni je rad.

"Pogledajte vi ovdje znoj, mišiće. To je nevjerojatno. Ja ne mogu dugo stajati pored", rekla nam je dirnuta Biserka.

U dvorani u podrumu Muzeja Dražena Petrovića tako će posjetitelji moći vidjeti njegovu figuru u prirodnoj veličini. Nalazit će se u olimpijskim krugovima, a on će se pored svjetala okretati i djeci pokazivati košarku na ekranima.
