Žestoko će biti večeras u splitskoj O'Hari, gdje se odvija četvrta kvalifikacijska večer Festivala autorskih bendova ST-@rt.
Nastupaju bandovi Forsworn, Gluttony, Mesmera i Prevail, koje karakterizira "punokrvna prašionica".
Forsworn je splitski heavy metal band, osnovan u jesen 2004. godine, a čine ga: Mirko Ožić-Paić (vokal), Ante Barišić "Tiša" (gitara & prateći vokal), Drago Bešlić "Zemo" (gitara), Josip Vulić "Vula" (bas & prateći vokal), te Marin Kalajžić "Šiljo" (bubnjevi).
Za sebe kažu da "zvuk temelje na 'old school Heavy/Thrash Metalu', po uzoru na bandove kao što su Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, Iced Earth, Metallica, Testament..."
U ritmu death metala
Gluttony je također metal bend iz Splita.
"Sviramo death metal, no ne stojimo strogo u okvirima žanra. Osnovani smo krajem 2011. godine. Iza nas je nekoliko koncerata na lokalnoj bazi, među kojima je i nastup kao predgrupa češkom bendu Noostrak.
Prije dvije godine smo izdali prvi demo pod nazivom 'Compulsive', na kojem su četiri pjesme, te je dostupan na internetu za slušanje i download. Trenutno smo u završnoj fazi miksanja novog promo CD-a sa tri nove pjesme, a kroz par mjeseci se planira i snimanje prvog spota..." - otkrivaju Gluttonyjevci.
Mesmera je progresivni melodic/death metal bend iz Trogira. Bend je nastao 2010. projektom Petra Brkića i Hrvoja Crnkovića. Bendu se uskoro pridružuju growl vokal Blaž Tomaš, Ivo Jerković na drugoj gitari te Jerko Vičić na bubnjevima. 2011.godine izdaju EP pod nazivom "Emptiness Foreseen", te snimaju spot za pjesmu "Destined To Ruin".
Zemljani žele još...
2012.godine bend napušta bubnjar Jerko Vičić te mu se iste godine pridružuju nova dva člana, treći gitarist Joško Civadelić i novi bubnjar Josip Gruić.
Četvrti band Prevail o sebi je rekao.
"Prevail je jednu od svojih važnijih bitaka, uz potporu i vjeru svojih mama, zabilježio na "First Conflict" EP-u i time bacio cjelokupnu populaciju planeta Zemlje na koljena koji su željeli još, a to će upravo i dobiti na ovome festivalu božanske glazbe...".
Pobjednik večerašnje večeri pridružit će se prethodno izabranim polufinalistima ovogodišnjeg ST-@rta, zadarskoj grupi The Crook, splitskom Repassageu te Shewi iz Sinja.
Festival se odvija kroz osam kvalifikacijskih večeri, večer van konkurencije, dvije polufinalne te finalnu večer, koja je na programu 7. svibnja.

Žestoko će biti večeras u splitskoj O'Hari, gdje se odvija četvrta kvalifikacijska večer Festivala autorskih bendova ST-@rt.
Nastupaju bandovi Forsworn, Gluttony, Mesmera i Prevail, koje karakterizira "punokrvna prašionica".
Forsworn je splitski heavy metal band, osnovan u jesen 2004. godine, a čine ga: Mirko Ožić-Paić (vokal), Ante Barišić "Tiša" (gitara & prateći vokal), Drago Bešlić "Zemo" (gitara), Josip Vulić "Vula" (bas & prateći vokal), te Marin Kalajžić "Šiljo" (bubnjevi).
Za sebe kažu da "zvuk temelje na 'old school Heavy/Thrash Metalu', po uzoru na bandove kao što su Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, Iced Earth, Metallica, Testament..."
U ritmu death metala
Gluttony je također metal bend iz Splita.
"Sviramo death metal, no ne stojimo strogo u okvirima žanra. Osnovani smo krajem 2011. godine. Iza nas je nekoliko koncerata na lokalnoj bazi, među kojima je i nastup kao predgrupa češkom bendu Noostrak.
Prije dvije godine smo izdali prvi demo pod nazivom 'Compulsive', na kojem su četiri pjesme, te je dostupan na internetu za slušanje i download. Trenutno smo u završnoj fazi miksanja novog promo CD-a sa tri nove pjesme, a kroz par mjeseci se planira i snimanje prvog spota..." - otkrivaju Gluttonyjevci.
Mesmera je progresivni melodic/death metal bend iz Trogira. Bend je nastao 2010. projektom Petra Brkića i Hrvoja Crnkovića. Bendu se uskoro pridružuju growl vokal Blaž Tomaš, Ivo Jerković na drugoj gitari te Jerko Vičić na bubnjevima. 2011.godine izdaju EP pod nazivom "Emptiness Foreseen", te snimaju spot za pjesmu "Destined To Ruin".
Zemljani žele još...
2012.godine bend napušta bubnjar Jerko Vičić te mu se iste godine pridružuju nova dva člana, treći gitarist Joško Civadelić i novi bubnjar Josip Gruić.
Četvrti band Prevail o sebi je rekao.
"Prevail je jednu od svojih važnijih bitaka, uz potporu i vjeru svojih mama, zabilježio na "First Conflict" EP-u i time bacio cjelokupnu populaciju planeta Zemlje na koljena koji su željeli još, a to će upravo i dobiti na ovome festivalu božanske glazbe...".
Pobjednik večerašnje večeri pridružit će se prethodno izabranim polufinalistima ovogodišnjeg ST-@rta, zadarskoj grupi The Crook, splitskom Repassageu te Shewi iz Sinja.
Festival se odvija kroz osam kvalifikacijskih večeri, večer van konkurencije, dvije polufinalne te finalnu večer, koja je na programu 7. svibnja.
