Obilne padaline i visoka plima uzrokovali su poplave diljem hrvatske obale Jadrana. Iz Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo Split objašnjavaju kako je riječ o fenomenu koji nazivamo olujni uspor.

- Na Jadranu taj fenomen nastaje dugotrajnim puhanjem olujnog juga koji uz djelovanje niskog tlaka zraka izaziva povećanje razine mora. Uz to, već smo danima pod djelovanjem doline planetarnog atmosferskog vala, koji održava visinu razine mora iznad prosjeka.

U sjevernom Jadranu najviše razine mora su nastupile u jutarnjim satima te su se poklopile i s najvišom mjesečevom plimom, dok su u srednjem Jadranu maksimalne razine mora zabilježene u popodnevnim satima, isto za vrijeme plime, ali one sekundarne koja je bila za 20 cm manja od jutarnje - objšanjavaju iz IZOR-a na svojoj Facebook stranici dodajući kako se svakako radilo o jednom ekstremnom događaju koji se može uspoređivati s nekim upamćenim datumima:

- U sjevernom i srednjem Jadranu posebice je važan 12.-13.studenog 2019. kada je Hrvatski hidrografski institut izmjerio rekordnu razinu mora u Splitu. Tada je razina bila 45 cm viša nego u kišni utorak, no ta se poplava dogodila tijekom noći pa nije bila toliko primjetna kao ova posljednja.

Na Jadranu se uvijek najviše priča o poplavama u Veneciji. Prognoza je za taj grad bila 170 cm iznad razine lokalne mareografske nule. To bi bila treća apsolutna razina mora u Veneciji u povijesti mjerenja, prva je 194 cm - 4. studenoga 1966., a druga je 187 cm - 12. studenoga 2019. Međutim, tijekom noći dignute su brane sustava Mose i spriječena je poplava. Mjerenja od 205 cm ispred Venecije ukazuju da bi poplava u Venecijanskoj laguni možda bila i viša od prognozirane - navode.

U prilogu su objavili fotografiju mareografa postavljenog ispred zgrade Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo još 1949. godine, koji je zabilježio je ovaj vremenski ekstrem.

Obilne padaline i visoka plima uzrokovali su poplave diljem hrvatske obale Jadrana. Iz Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo Split objašnjavaju kako je riječ o fenomenu koji nazivamo olujni uspor.

- Na Jadranu taj fenomen nastaje dugotrajnim puhanjem olujnog juga koji uz djelovanje niskog tlaka zraka izaziva povećanje razine mora. Uz to, već smo danima pod djelovanjem doline planetarnog atmosferskog vala, koji održava visinu razine mora iznad prosjeka.

U sjevernom Jadranu najviše razine mora su nastupile u jutarnjim satima te su se poklopile i s najvišom mjesečevom plimom, dok su u srednjem Jadranu maksimalne razine mora zabilježene u popodnevnim satima, isto za vrijeme plime, ali one sekundarne koja je bila za 20 cm manja od jutarnje - objšanjavaju iz IZOR-a na svojoj Facebook stranici dodajući kako se svakako radilo o jednom ekstremnom događaju koji se može uspoređivati s nekim upamćenim datumima:

- U sjevernom i srednjem Jadranu posebice je važan 12.-13.studenog 2019. kada je Hrvatski hidrografski institut izmjerio rekordnu razinu mora u Splitu. Tada je razina bila 45 cm viša nego u kišni utorak, no ta se poplava dogodila tijekom noći pa nije bila toliko primjetna kao ova posljednja.

Na Jadranu se uvijek najviše priča o poplavama u Veneciji. Prognoza je za taj grad bila 170 cm iznad razine lokalne mareografske nule. To bi bila treća apsolutna razina mora u Veneciji u povijesti mjerenja, prva je 194 cm - 4. studenoga 1966., a druga je 187 cm - 12. studenoga 2019. Međutim, tijekom noći dignute su brane sustava Mose i spriječena je poplava. Mjerenja od 205 cm ispred Venecije ukazuju da bi poplava u Venecijanskoj laguni možda bila i viša od prognozirane - navode.

U prilogu su objavili fotografiju mareografa postavljenog ispred zgrade Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo još 1949. godine, koji je zabilježio je ovaj vremenski ekstrem.
