U brodogradilištu 3. maj u ponedjeljak je naručitelju, španjolskoj tvrtki Marflet Marine, predan tanker za prijevoz nafte, naftnih prerađevina i kemikalija "Santiago" (novogradnja 723) nosivosti gotovo 50.000 tona.
Riječ je o tankeru dugačkom 182 metra, širine 32,2 metra, koji istovremeno može prevoziti više vrsta kemikalija.
Ugovorena cijena broda je 34 milijuna dolara, a gubitak na tom brodu je od oko četiri milijuna dolara.
Tanker "Santiago" je u more porinut još u listopadu 2016. u riječkom 3. maju, a početkom 2017. je otegljen u pulski Uljanik na završno opremanje.
No, zbog krize koja je pogodila pulski škver nekoliko godina stajao je netaknut pa je naručitelj raskinuo ugovor o gradnji.
U prosincu 2019. "Santiago" je, uz pomoć tegljača, dopremljen iz Uljanika u u riječko brodogradilište, na osnovi plana nastavka poslovanja u 3. maju.
Ugovor o dovršetku tankera za prijevoz nafte, naftnih prerađevina i kemikalija "Santiago" (723) potpisan je u ožujku, a stupio je na snagu u svibnju 2020, a Vlada je u travnju 2020. dala državno jamstvo za nastavak gradnje tog broda.
Vlada je prošlog tjedna odobrila i državno jamstvo 3. maju za zaduženje za obrtna sredstva radi pokrića povećanih troškova započetih gradnji u 3. maju, u visini 90 milijuna kuna.
Direktor 3. maja Edi Kučan rekao je da je rad na brodu "Santiagu" bio težak te da je na njemu bilo puno neočekivanih situacija te da je primopredaja kasnila.
Spomenuo je probleme s posebnom bojom za brod koju nije bilo moguće uvesti, nabavkom zamjenske boje, oštećenjima nastalim tijekom stajanja broda i druge teškoće.
Na upit o plaćama rekao je da se nada da neće kasniti, a ako budu kasnile da će to biti 15-ak dana.
Kučan je još rekao da se u 3. maju za lipanj planira isporuka broda za prijevoz automobila (514) te da se ulažu napori da polarni kruzer, koji se također gradi u riječkom brodogradilištu, bude porinut do kraja svibnja.
U tijeku su radovi na jahti za talijanskog naručitelja, sekcijama za talijanski Fincantieri, a dogovara se završetak samoiskrcavajućeg broda za rasuti teret (527), rekao je Kučan.

U brodogradilištu 3. maj u ponedjeljak je naručitelju, španjolskoj tvrtki Marflet Marine, predan tanker za prijevoz nafte, naftnih prerađevina i kemikalija "Santiago" (novogradnja 723) nosivosti gotovo 50.000 tona.
Riječ je o tankeru dugačkom 182 metra, širine 32,2 metra, koji istovremeno može prevoziti više vrsta kemikalija.
Ugovorena cijena broda je 34 milijuna dolara, a gubitak na tom brodu je od oko četiri milijuna dolara.
Tanker "Santiago" je u more porinut još u listopadu 2016. u riječkom 3. maju, a početkom 2017. je otegljen u pulski Uljanik na završno opremanje.
No, zbog krize koja je pogodila pulski škver nekoliko godina stajao je netaknut pa je naručitelj raskinuo ugovor o gradnji.
U prosincu 2019. "Santiago" je, uz pomoć tegljača, dopremljen iz Uljanika u u riječko brodogradilište, na osnovi plana nastavka poslovanja u 3. maju.
Ugovor o dovršetku tankera za prijevoz nafte, naftnih prerađevina i kemikalija "Santiago" (723) potpisan je u ožujku, a stupio je na snagu u svibnju 2020, a Vlada je u travnju 2020. dala državno jamstvo za nastavak gradnje tog broda.
Vlada je prošlog tjedna odobrila i državno jamstvo 3. maju za zaduženje za obrtna sredstva radi pokrića povećanih troškova započetih gradnji u 3. maju, u visini 90 milijuna kuna.
Direktor 3. maja Edi Kučan rekao je da je rad na brodu "Santiagu" bio težak te da je na njemu bilo puno neočekivanih situacija te da je primopredaja kasnila.
Spomenuo je probleme s posebnom bojom za brod koju nije bilo moguće uvesti, nabavkom zamjenske boje, oštećenjima nastalim tijekom stajanja broda i druge teškoće.
Na upit o plaćama rekao je da se nada da neće kasniti, a ako budu kasnile da će to biti 15-ak dana.
Kučan je još rekao da se u 3. maju za lipanj planira isporuka broda za prijevoz automobila (514) te da se ulažu napori da polarni kruzer, koji se također gradi u riječkom brodogradilištu, bude porinut do kraja svibnja.
U tijeku su radovi na jahti za talijanskog naručitelja, sekcijama za talijanski Fincantieri, a dogovara se završetak samoiskrcavajućeg broda za rasuti teret (527), rekao je Kučan.
