Trabakul Marko Polo dug 28 metara, u vlasništvu poduzetnice Lucije Vlahović, potonuo je 2015. godine uz operativnu rivu u mjestu Povlja na otoku Braču. Nakon pet godina traženja rješenja kompliciranih imovinskopravnih odnosa, brod je došao do stanja raspadanja i nije bilo mogućnosti izvaditi ga u komadu, pa je izrezan na dijelove. Dio je odvezen na kopneno smetište, a trup je otegljen na sigurniju lokaciju za potrebe ronilačkog turizma. Kako izgleda njegov današnji život, ispričao nam je Rene Cipovec iz Ronilačkog kluba Hrvatskih ratnih vojnih invalida​ Nemo Adriatic, odmah istaknuvši kako je specifično to da na brod nikada nisu bili ugrađeni pogonski motori, niti je uliveno gorivo.

– Takav brod je bio idealna prilika za dislokaciju objekta na sigurnu podvodnu lokaciju, kako bi služio kao ronilačka atrakcija i objekt za vježbu ronilaca. Odlukom lučke uprave krenulo je vađenje samog broda i odvoz na otpad. Tako je veći dio broda izvađen dizalicama, a dio trupa je dislociran ispred plaže Okuč u Povljima, na dubinu od 17 metara. Moramo napomenuti da pozicija toga dijela brodskog trupa ne ugrožava plovni put ni sigurnost kupača. Dosad je na toj poziciji zaronilo više od 500 ronilaca iz obližnjih centara, a jačim marketingom i promocijom, mišljenja smo kako će taj broj samo rasti. Prije deset dana na redovitom treningu bili su ronioci – slovenski vatrogasci PGD-a Sevnica, koji su svakodnevno ronili i izvodili vježbe na olupini broda.

Povlja kao mjesto imaju prekrasne lokacije za ronjenje, te vjerujemo kako će ronilački turizam produljiti sezonu u malom mjestu, ali isto tako smo mišljenja da jačom reklamom i promidžbom lokalna uprava mora dati na važnosti ronilačkom turizmu. Naime, ronilački turizam ima godišnji porast od 700 posto. Roni se tijekom čitave godine, a najljepše ronjenje je u predsezoni i posezoni – veli nam Rene Cipovec.

Inače, Ronilački klub Hrvatskih ratnih vojnih invalida​ Nemo Adriatic, osnovan 2005. u Zagrebu, godinama se bavi organizacijom ronilačkih izleta, škola ronjenja, ronilačkim krstarenjima za članove, ali i pružanjem pomoći u elementarnim nepogodama i katastrofama, te ekološkim akcijama čišćenja podmorja. Uz to je jedan od rijetkih koji besplatno školuje hrvatske ratne vojne invalide Domovinskog rata kroz tečajeve ronjenja. Predsjednik kluba Rene Cipovec navodi da Nemo Adriatic već nekoliko godina svoje ronilačke aktivnosti izvodi u Povljima na otoku Braču. Počelo je s ekološkim akcijama čišćenja podmorja otoka, pri čemu su se ti programi širili i obuhvatili sudjelovanje prijatelja kluba iz Hrvatske, regije i EU-a.

– Kroz projekt Međunarodna ronilačka ekopatrola Brač zaokružili smo nekoliko segmenata u ronjenju, poput ekologije, edukacije, humanitarnog rada, druženja – navodi Cipovec, dodajući kako im je dodatni motiv želja da se takvim aktivnostima potakne i produljenje turističke sezone u Povljima, jer je tu i centar cijele logistike. U tu se svrhu organiziraju i napredne škole ronjenja prema svjetski priznatim asocijacijama (PSS), te seminari o ronjenju, pri čemu su predavači gosti iz klubova Europske unije. Naravno, uz promociju lokacija za ronjenje u akvatoriju Brača.

Trabakul Marko Polo dug 28 metara, u vlasništvu poduzetnice Lucije Vlahović, potonuo je 2015. godine uz operativnu rivu u mjestu Povlja na otoku Braču. Nakon pet godina traženja rješenja kompliciranih imovinskopravnih odnosa, brod je došao do stanja raspadanja i nije bilo mogućnosti izvaditi ga u komadu, pa je izrezan na dijelove. Dio je odvezen na kopneno smetište, a trup je otegljen na sigurniju lokaciju za potrebe ronilačkog turizma. Kako izgleda njegov današnji život, ispričao nam je Rene Cipovec iz Ronilačkog kluba Hrvatskih ratnih vojnih invalida​ Nemo Adriatic, odmah istaknuvši kako je specifično to da na brod nikada nisu bili ugrađeni pogonski motori, niti je uliveno gorivo.

– Takav brod je bio idealna prilika za dislokaciju objekta na sigurnu podvodnu lokaciju, kako bi služio kao ronilačka atrakcija i objekt za vježbu ronilaca. Odlukom lučke uprave krenulo je vađenje samog broda i odvoz na otpad. Tako je veći dio broda izvađen dizalicama, a dio trupa je dislociran ispred plaže Okuč u Povljima, na dubinu od 17 metara. Moramo napomenuti da pozicija toga dijela brodskog trupa ne ugrožava plovni put ni sigurnost kupača. Dosad je na toj poziciji zaronilo više od 500 ronilaca iz obližnjih centara, a jačim marketingom i promocijom, mišljenja smo kako će taj broj samo rasti. Prije deset dana na redovitom treningu bili su ronioci – slovenski vatrogasci PGD-a Sevnica, koji su svakodnevno ronili i izvodili vježbe na olupini broda.

Povlja kao mjesto imaju prekrasne lokacije za ronjenje, te vjerujemo kako će ronilački turizam produljiti sezonu u malom mjestu, ali isto tako smo mišljenja da jačom reklamom i promidžbom lokalna uprava mora dati na važnosti ronilačkom turizmu. Naime, ronilački turizam ima godišnji porast od 700 posto. Roni se tijekom čitave godine, a najljepše ronjenje je u predsezoni i posezoni – veli nam Rene Cipovec.

Inače, Ronilački klub Hrvatskih ratnih vojnih invalida​ Nemo Adriatic, osnovan 2005. u Zagrebu, godinama se bavi organizacijom ronilačkih izleta, škola ronjenja, ronilačkim krstarenjima za članove, ali i pružanjem pomoći u elementarnim nepogodama i katastrofama, te ekološkim akcijama čišćenja podmorja. Uz to je jedan od rijetkih koji besplatno školuje hrvatske ratne vojne invalide Domovinskog rata kroz tečajeve ronjenja. Predsjednik kluba Rene Cipovec navodi da Nemo Adriatic već nekoliko godina svoje ronilačke aktivnosti izvodi u Povljima na otoku Braču. Počelo je s ekološkim akcijama čišćenja podmorja otoka, pri čemu su se ti programi širili i obuhvatili sudjelovanje prijatelja kluba iz Hrvatske, regije i EU-a.

– Kroz projekt Međunarodna ronilačka ekopatrola Brač zaokružili smo nekoliko segmenata u ronjenju, poput ekologije, edukacije, humanitarnog rada, druženja – navodi Cipovec, dodajući kako im je dodatni motiv želja da se takvim aktivnostima potakne i produljenje turističke sezone u Povljima, jer je tu i centar cijele logistike. U tu se svrhu organiziraju i napredne škole ronjenja prema svjetski priznatim asocijacijama (PSS), te seminari o ronjenju, pri čemu su predavači gosti iz klubova Europske unije. Naravno, uz promociju lokacija za ronjenje u akvatoriju Brača.
