Teretni brod u kojem je bilo 750 tona dizela na putu iz Egipta za Maltu potonuo je u subotu kod jugoistočne obale Tunisa, no za sada nema curenja goriva, priopćio je glasnogovornik lokalnog suda.

"Brod je potonuo u subotu ujutro u tuniškim teritorijalnim vodama. Za sada, nema curenja goriva", kazao je Mohamed Karray.

Dodao je da će se sada "sastati povjerenstvo za sprečavanje katastrofa i odlučiti koje će mjere poduzeti".

"Xelo" je u petak zatražio ulazak u tuniške teritorijalne vode zbog lošeg vremena, objavilo je ministarstvo zaštote okoliša.

Brod sagrađen 1977. koji plovi pod zastavom Ekvatorijalne Gvineje isplovio je iz egipatske luke Damietta za Maltu. Oko sedam klometara od Gabeškog zaljeva u brod je počela prodirati voda te je strojarnica ubrzo bila poplavljena jer je razina vode dosegla dva metra.

Tuniške vlasti su evakuirale sedam članova posade, gruzijskog kapetana broda, četiri turska pomorca i dvojicu iz Azerbejdžana.
Posada je kratko sadržana u bolnici i potom smještena u hotel.

Ministarstvo okoliša je upozorilo da postoji rizik da gorivo iscuri u more te da ministarstva obrane, unutarnjih poslova, prometa i carina radi na sprečavanju moguće "pomorske, ekološke katastrofe u tom području".

Teretni brod u kojem je bilo 750 tona dizela na putu iz Egipta za Maltu potonuo je u subotu kod jugoistočne obale Tunisa, no za sada nema curenja goriva, priopćio je glasnogovornik lokalnog suda.

"Brod je potonuo u subotu ujutro u tuniškim teritorijalnim vodama. Za sada, nema curenja goriva", kazao je Mohamed Karray.

Dodao je da će se sada "sastati povjerenstvo za sprečavanje katastrofa i odlučiti koje će mjere poduzeti".

"Xelo" je u petak zatražio ulazak u tuniške teritorijalne vode zbog lošeg vremena, objavilo je ministarstvo zaštote okoliša.

Brod sagrađen 1977. koji plovi pod zastavom Ekvatorijalne Gvineje isplovio je iz egipatske luke Damietta za Maltu. Oko sedam klometara od Gabeškog zaljeva u brod je počela prodirati voda te je strojarnica ubrzo bila poplavljena jer je razina vode dosegla dva metra.

Tuniške vlasti su evakuirale sedam članova posade, gruzijskog kapetana broda, četiri turska pomorca i dvojicu iz Azerbejdžana.
Posada je kratko sadržana u bolnici i potom smještena u hotel.

Ministarstvo okoliša je upozorilo da postoji rizik da gorivo iscuri u more te da ministarstva obrane, unutarnjih poslova, prometa i carina radi na sprečavanju moguće "pomorske, ekološke katastrofe u tom području".

Teretni brod u kojem je bilo 750 tona dizela na putu iz Egipta za Maltu potonuo je u subotu kod jugoistočne obale Tunisa, no za sada nema curenja goriva, priopćio je glasnogovornik lokalnog suda.

"Brod je potonuo u subotu ujutro u tuniškim teritorijalnim vodama. Za sada, nema curenja goriva", kazao je Mohamed Karray.

Dodao je da će se sada "sastati povjerenstvo za sprečavanje katastrofa i odlučiti koje će mjere poduzeti".

"Xelo" je u petak zatražio ulazak u tuniške teritorijalne vode zbog lošeg vremena, objavilo je ministarstvo zaštote okoliša.

Brod sagrađen 1977. koji plovi pod zastavom Ekvatorijalne Gvineje isplovio je iz egipatske luke Damietta za Maltu. Oko sedam klometara od Gabeškog zaljeva u brod je počela prodirati voda te je strojarnica ubrzo bila poplavljena jer je razina vode dosegla dva metra.

Tuniške vlasti su evakuirale sedam članova posade, gruzijskog kapetana broda, četiri turska pomorca i dvojicu iz Azerbejdžana.
Posada je kratko sadržana u bolnici i potom smještena u hotel.

Ministarstvo okoliša je upozorilo da postoji rizik da gorivo iscuri u more te da ministarstva obrane, unutarnjih poslova, prometa i carina radi na sprečavanju moguće "pomorske, ekološke katastrofe u tom području".
