Broj morskih pasa oko Europe drastično je pao, a posljedice gubitka te vrste mogu biti pogubne za sve u moru i nas koji ovisimo o moru.

Naš ronilac na dah, svjetski rekorder Vitomir Maričić, svjetski broj 1 u 2020. prema ukupnoj AIDA rang listi, ambasador je kampanje koja uz pomoć ljudi može pomoći da se zaustavi ovaj negativan trend, prenosi Gorgonija:

“Apeliram na sve ljubitelje mora da skrenu pažnju na ovu kampanju, tj. inicijativu. Kao što vjerojatno većina čitatelja i zna, morski psi su ključni grabežljivac u moru. Efekti izostanka takvog apexa nisu samo špekulativni, studija koju su Amerikanci proveli u Atlantiku, pokazala je da kada je 11 vrsta morskih pasa došlo do kritičnih brojki, 12 od 14 vrsta kojima su se hranili toliko je naraslo da su uništili vrste ispod njih, naravno, dalje u toj spirali, sve skupa vodi tome da se Ocean opustoši.

Koliko god moćan to sustav, bio ravnoteža Oceana i prirode općenito je osjetljiv mehanizam. Predviđanja su da ćemo ukoliko se opadanje vrsta morskih pasa nastavim ovim tempom, doći do izumiranja večine vrsta nakon 10tak godina. To je nevjerojatno malo vremena, a posljedice su ireverzibilne.” – Vitomir Maričić.

Ono što možda prosječan čitatelj ne zna je da je upravo Finning najveći ubojica morskih pasa. Morski psi nemaju cijenjeno meso, medicinsku upotrebu, zapravo, nema pretjerane koristi loviti ih. Najvrjednije na njima su njihove peraje, koje se služe kao svojevrsni ukras, jer ni peraje kao ni meso nema neki okus, u juhama u Kini. Tradicionalne juhe od peraje morskog psa su statusni simbol za bogate Kineze, a kako Kina ekonomski raste, rastu i ljudi koji si to mogu i žele priuštiti.

Radi ove dekoracije godišnje strada od 88 do 100 MILIJUNA morskih pasa. Velika većina toga je iz Europe, a flote Francuske, Portugala i Španjolske imaju najveći broj ulova na svijetu i sramotno su prvaci u ovoj barbarskoj praksi ribolova, ustvari perajolova, jer morske pse bacaju natrag u more nakon što im odrežu peraje.

“Na koji način možemo to promijeniti? Možemo prakticiranjem svojih građanskih prava pred EU i ispunjavanjem inicijative kojom se može utjecati na zakon u EU. Ukoliko se zabrani trgovina perajama, drastično će pasti i izlov morskih pasa, jer će cijelim morskim psom daleko teže i skuplje trgovati. Na ovaj način se i donekle osigurava da se barem iskoristi cijelo tijelo životinje. Ispunjavanje traje 2 minute i ukoliko se Europa ozbiljno angažira imamo šansu ostaviti more kakvo je bilo i idućim generacijama.

Broj morskih pasa oko Europe drastično je pao, a posljedice gubitka te vrste mogu biti pogubne za sve u moru i nas koji ovisimo o moru.

Naš ronilac na dah, svjetski rekorder Vitomir Maričić, svjetski broj 1 u 2020. prema ukupnoj AIDA rang listi, ambasador je kampanje koja uz pomoć ljudi može pomoći da se zaustavi ovaj negativan trend, prenosi Gorgonija:

“Apeliram na sve ljubitelje mora da skrenu pažnju na ovu kampanju, tj. inicijativu. Kao što vjerojatno većina čitatelja i zna, morski psi su ključni grabežljivac u moru. Efekti izostanka takvog apexa nisu samo špekulativni, studija koju su Amerikanci proveli u Atlantiku, pokazala je da kada je 11 vrsta morskih pasa došlo do kritičnih brojki, 12 od 14 vrsta kojima su se hranili toliko je naraslo da su uništili vrste ispod njih, naravno, dalje u toj spirali, sve skupa vodi tome da se Ocean opustoši.

Koliko god moćan to sustav, bio ravnoteža Oceana i prirode općenito je osjetljiv mehanizam. Predviđanja su da ćemo ukoliko se opadanje vrsta morskih pasa nastavim ovim tempom, doći do izumiranja večine vrsta nakon 10tak godina. To je nevjerojatno malo vremena, a posljedice su ireverzibilne.” – Vitomir Maričić.

Ono što možda prosječan čitatelj ne zna je da je upravo Finning najveći ubojica morskih pasa. Morski psi nemaju cijenjeno meso, medicinsku upotrebu, zapravo, nema pretjerane koristi loviti ih. Najvrjednije na njima su njihove peraje, koje se služe kao svojevrsni ukras, jer ni peraje kao ni meso nema neki okus, u juhama u Kini. Tradicionalne juhe od peraje morskog psa su statusni simbol za bogate Kineze, a kako Kina ekonomski raste, rastu i ljudi koji si to mogu i žele priuštiti.

Radi ove dekoracije godišnje strada od 88 do 100 MILIJUNA morskih pasa. Velika većina toga je iz Europe, a flote Francuske, Portugala i Španjolske imaju najveći broj ulova na svijetu i sramotno su prvaci u ovoj barbarskoj praksi ribolova, ustvari perajolova, jer morske pse bacaju natrag u more nakon što im odrežu peraje.

“Na koji način možemo to promijeniti? Možemo prakticiranjem svojih građanskih prava pred EU i ispunjavanjem inicijative kojom se može utjecati na zakon u EU. Ukoliko se zabrani trgovina perajama, drastično će pasti i izlov morskih pasa, jer će cijelim morskim psom daleko teže i skuplje trgovati. Na ovaj način se i donekle osigurava da se barem iskoristi cijelo tijelo životinje. Ispunjavanje traje 2 minute i ukoliko se Europa ozbiljno angažira imamo šansu ostaviti more kakvo je bilo i idućim generacijama.

Broj morskih pasa oko Europe drastično je pao, a posljedice gubitka te vrste mogu biti pogubne za sve u moru i nas koji ovisimo o moru.

Naš ronilac na dah, svjetski rekorder Vitomir Maričić, svjetski broj 1 u 2020. prema ukupnoj AIDA rang listi, ambasador je kampanje koja uz pomoć ljudi može pomoći da se zaustavi ovaj negativan trend, prenosi Gorgonija:

“Apeliram na sve ljubitelje mora da skrenu pažnju na ovu kampanju, tj. inicijativu. Kao što vjerojatno većina čitatelja i zna, morski psi su ključni grabežljivac u moru. Efekti izostanka takvog apexa nisu samo špekulativni, studija koju su Amerikanci proveli u Atlantiku, pokazala je da kada je 11 vrsta morskih pasa došlo do kritičnih brojki, 12 od 14 vrsta kojima su se hranili toliko je naraslo da su uništili vrste ispod njih, naravno, dalje u toj spirali, sve skupa vodi tome da se Ocean opustoši.

Koliko god moćan to sustav, bio ravnoteža Oceana i prirode općenito je osjetljiv mehanizam. Predviđanja su da ćemo ukoliko se opadanje vrsta morskih pasa nastavim ovim tempom, doći do izumiranja večine vrsta nakon 10tak godina. To je nevjerojatno malo vremena, a posljedice su ireverzibilne.” – Vitomir Maričić.

Ono što možda prosječan čitatelj ne zna je da je upravo Finning najveći ubojica morskih pasa. Morski psi nemaju cijenjeno meso, medicinsku upotrebu, zapravo, nema pretjerane koristi loviti ih. Najvrjednije na njima su njihove peraje, koje se služe kao svojevrsni ukras, jer ni peraje kao ni meso nema neki okus, u juhama u Kini. Tradicionalne juhe od peraje morskog psa su statusni simbol za bogate Kineze, a kako Kina ekonomski raste, rastu i ljudi koji si to mogu i žele priuštiti.

Radi ove dekoracije godišnje strada od 88 do 100 MILIJUNA morskih pasa. Velika većina toga je iz Europe, a flote Francuske, Portugala i Španjolske imaju najveći broj ulova na svijetu i sramotno su prvaci u ovoj barbarskoj praksi ribolova, ustvari perajolova, jer morske pse bacaju natrag u more nakon što im odrežu peraje.

“Na koji način možemo to promijeniti? Možemo prakticiranjem svojih građanskih prava pred EU i ispunjavanjem inicijative kojom se može utjecati na zakon u EU. Ukoliko se zabrani trgovina perajama, drastično će pasti i izlov morskih pasa, jer će cijelim morskim psom daleko teže i skuplje trgovati. Na ovaj način se i donekle osigurava da se barem iskoristi cijelo tijelo životinje. Ispunjavanje traje 2 minute i ukoliko se Europa ozbiljno angažira imamo šansu ostaviti more kakvo je bilo i idućim generacijama.
