Pomorski muzej Orebić nastavlja sa restauracijom predmeta iz svoje vrijedne zbirke.

Iz Hrvatskog restauratorskog zavoda, s restauracije, u stalni postav vraćeni su predmeti: Portolan iz 1800 godine, karta Pelješkog kanala s označenim dubinama iz 1869. godine te zemljopisna karta Otranskih vrata i poluotoka Pelješca iz 19. stoljeća.

Na restauraciji se nalaze i Bellinova zbirka karata iz 18. stoljeća, diploma kapetana duge plovidbe Mata Kovačevića iz Vignja iz 1869. godine, te zemljopisna karta nepoznatog autora iz 1881. godine.

Inače, ovaj muzej ulazi u novi trogodišnji program restauracije i konzervacije sa desetak umjetnina.

Između ostalog, u muzeju se nalazi bogata zbirka knjiga peljeških kapetana. To su pomorski i trgovački priručnici, godišnjaci raznih europskih i domaćih novina i časopisa, te knjige iz gospodarstva, povijesti, zemljopisa, prirode, teologije. Zatim leksikoni atlasi, riječnici, stari rukopisi, brodski dnevnici, računske knjige jedrenjačkih putovanja, kapetanska pisma...Posebnu vrijednost čine kartografska izdanja Corronellija, N.J. Voghta, Bellina, Rouilla… Osobito su vrijedne slike peljeških jedrenjaka od 17. do kraja 19. st., prikazanih u plovidbi i u borbi s gusarima. O životu pomoraca govore i brodski alati, oružje, atlasi, nautičke i školske knjige, razne isprave...

Pomorski muzej Orebić nastavlja sa restauracijom predmeta iz svoje vrijedne zbirke.

Iz Hrvatskog restauratorskog zavoda, s restauracije, u stalni postav vraćeni su predmeti: Portolan iz 1800 godine, karta Pelješkog kanala s označenim dubinama iz 1869. godine te zemljopisna karta Otranskih vrata i poluotoka Pelješca iz 19. stoljeća.

Na restauraciji se nalaze i Bellinova zbirka karata iz 18. stoljeća, diploma kapetana duge plovidbe Mata Kovačevića iz Vignja iz 1869. godine, te zemljopisna karta nepoznatog autora iz 1881. godine.

Inače, ovaj muzej ulazi u novi trogodišnji program restauracije i konzervacije sa desetak umjetnina.

Između ostalog, u muzeju se nalazi bogata zbirka knjiga peljeških kapetana. To su pomorski i trgovački priručnici, godišnjaci raznih europskih i domaćih novina i časopisa, te knjige iz gospodarstva, povijesti, zemljopisa, prirode, teologije. Zatim leksikoni atlasi, riječnici, stari rukopisi, brodski dnevnici, računske knjige jedrenjačkih putovanja, kapetanska pisma...Posebnu vrijednost čine kartografska izdanja Corronellija, N.J. Voghta, Bellina, Rouilla… Osobito su vrijedne slike peljeških jedrenjaka od 17. do kraja 19. st., prikazanih u plovidbi i u borbi s gusarima. O životu pomoraca govore i brodski alati, oružje, atlasi, nautičke i školske knjige, razne isprave...
