Operator japanske nuklearne elektrane Fukushima Daiichi, teško oštećene u potresu prije deset godina objavio je u srijedu da planira ispustiti u ocean više od milijun tona uskladištene vode podmorskim tunelom.

Japanska vlada odlučila je u travnju da će počevši od 2023. ispustiti u ocean oborinsku i podzemnu vodu koja se koristila za hlađenje jezgri reaktora koje su se rastalile pošto ih je pogodio tsunami izazvan snažnim potresom 11. ožujka 2011.

Japan je tako okončao sedmogodišnju raspravu o tome kamo s tih 1,27 milijuna tona kontaminirane vode, uskladištene u više od tisuću rezervoara na području elektrane, obećavši da će prije toga biti pročišćena i da će biti poduzete mjere kako se time ne bi nanijela šteta ugledu regije. 

Voda koja će biti ispuštena filtrirana je više puta kako bi se uklonilo većinu radioaktivnih supstanci, ali ne i tricij, radioaktivni izotop vodika, koji se ne može eliminirati sadašnjom tehnologijom.

Tome se protive ribari i poljoprivrednici iz Fukushime strahujući da će biti nanesena još veća šteta njihovim proizvodima.

Vodu će se ispuštati podmorskim tunelom promjera 2,5 metara koji će se pružati u ocean oko kilometar, objavio je u srijedu operator elektrane Tepco, dodajući da bi izgradnja tunela trebala početi do ožujka iduće godine.

Time se želi izbjeći mogućnost da se voda vraća na obalu.

Tepco je izrazio spremnost isplatiti naknadu za gubitak ugleda ribarima i drugima u regiji koji bi se zbog toga mogao dogoditi.

Spreman je i dopustiti inspekcije Međunarodnoj agenciji za atomsku energiju (IAEA), koja je u travnju podržala odluku japanske vlade da vodu ispusti u ocean.

Tu praksu preporučili su stručnjaci i već je korištena u Japanu i drugdje u aktivnim nuklearnim elektranama.

Operator japanske nuklearne elektrane Fukushima Daiichi, teško oštećene u potresu prije deset godina objavio je u srijedu da planira ispustiti u ocean više od milijun tona uskladištene vode podmorskim tunelom.

Japanska vlada odlučila je u travnju da će počevši od 2023. ispustiti u ocean oborinsku i podzemnu vodu koja se koristila za hlađenje jezgri reaktora koje su se rastalile pošto ih je pogodio tsunami izazvan snažnim potresom 11. ožujka 2011.

Japan je tako okončao sedmogodišnju raspravu o tome kamo s tih 1,27 milijuna tona kontaminirane vode, uskladištene u više od tisuću rezervoara na području elektrane, obećavši da će prije toga biti pročišćena i da će biti poduzete mjere kako se time ne bi nanijela šteta ugledu regije. 

Voda koja će biti ispuštena filtrirana je više puta kako bi se uklonilo većinu radioaktivnih supstanci, ali ne i tricij, radioaktivni izotop vodika, koji se ne može eliminirati sadašnjom tehnologijom.

Tome se protive ribari i poljoprivrednici iz Fukushime strahujući da će biti nanesena još veća šteta njihovim proizvodima.

Vodu će se ispuštati podmorskim tunelom promjera 2,5 metara koji će se pružati u ocean oko kilometar, objavio je u srijedu operator elektrane Tepco, dodajući da bi izgradnja tunela trebala početi do ožujka iduće godine.

Time se želi izbjeći mogućnost da se voda vraća na obalu.

Tepco je izrazio spremnost isplatiti naknadu za gubitak ugleda ribarima i drugima u regiji koji bi se zbog toga mogao dogoditi.

Spreman je i dopustiti inspekcije Međunarodnoj agenciji za atomsku energiju (IAEA), koja je u travnju podržala odluku japanske vlade da vodu ispusti u ocean.

Tu praksu preporučili su stručnjaci i već je korištena u Japanu i drugdje u aktivnim nuklearnim elektranama.

Operator japanske nuklearne elektrane Fukushima Daiichi, teško oštećene u potresu prije deset godina objavio je u srijedu da planira ispustiti u ocean više od milijun tona uskladištene vode podmorskim tunelom.

Japanska vlada odlučila je u travnju da će počevši od 2023. ispustiti u ocean oborinsku i podzemnu vodu koja se koristila za hlađenje jezgri reaktora koje su se rastalile pošto ih je pogodio tsunami izazvan snažnim potresom 11. ožujka 2011.

Japan je tako okončao sedmogodišnju raspravu o tome kamo s tih 1,27 milijuna tona kontaminirane vode, uskladištene u više od tisuću rezervoara na području elektrane, obećavši da će prije toga biti pročišćena i da će biti poduzete mjere kako se time ne bi nanijela šteta ugledu regije. 

Voda koja će biti ispuštena filtrirana je više puta kako bi se uklonilo većinu radioaktivnih supstanci, ali ne i tricij, radioaktivni izotop vodika, koji se ne može eliminirati sadašnjom tehnologijom.

Tome se protive ribari i poljoprivrednici iz Fukushime strahujući da će biti nanesena još veća šteta njihovim proizvodima.

Vodu će se ispuštati podmorskim tunelom promjera 2,5 metara koji će se pružati u ocean oko kilometar, objavio je u srijedu operator elektrane Tepco, dodajući da bi izgradnja tunela trebala početi do ožujka iduće godine.

Time se želi izbjeći mogućnost da se voda vraća na obalu.

Tepco je izrazio spremnost isplatiti naknadu za gubitak ugleda ribarima i drugima u regiji koji bi se zbog toga mogao dogoditi.
